That stuffing could have been made on the stove top in 5 minutes right before you ate instead of oven FYI

Pumpkin Pie!
I used to buy that ham to make ham & cheese sandwiches. I used to pay 12.00$ for on ham. This will show you how much they went up.

Gopher Tortoise and they are very protected in Florida. It is illegal to mess with them in any way or their homes. In fact snakes can also live in their burrows. Like any of our many Rattle snakes species. And sugar sand , what we call the very white sand. Can be any place in the state. 🐢

Hi Amy, buy the Cabot cheese it is naturally lactose free and no one would know it. You can buy it in blocks and shred it and eat it everyday…your family will never know the difference….then you don’t have to make anything separate for Jensen.
I asked her the same question and he doesn't like the sharp cheddar. Too bad they don't make another flavor..
Can confirm this. We also buy the Fairlife milk which is naturally lactose free, so everyone eats the same thing. Buying 2 different of the same is getting too expensive now days! If your kiddos like chocolate milk, we buy Silk chocolate almond milk, it is so good and creamy dark chocolate.
Why don't you recycle?

Amy. just a heads up as a Floridian if anyone tells you different, don’t listen to them alligators are everywhere even in the man-made lakes they have walked over into them, here in our developments. coming out of the canal, believe me, we have had so many experiences that you wouldn’t believe that we had to call to have them taken and placed back to the Everglades

THOSE ARE GOPHERS NOT TUTTLES. THEY LOVE TO DIG A HOLE AND LIVE IN IT. WE HAD ONE THAT LIVED IN OUR BACKYARD FOR YEARS. THE LITTLE KIDS LOVED WHEN HE WOULD TAKE A WALK BEING SO SLOW. WE OLDER FOLKS OF FLORIDA CALL THE PLACE YOU WERE WALKING A 'SCUBB' BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENT TYPE OF TREES AND BUSHES. GATOR WILL GO INTO ANY TYPE OF WATER EVEN YOUR SWIMMING POOL. THEY CAN EVEN CLIME A FENCE -YEP EVEN A FENCE.

Be careful with kayaks and alligators my sisters grandson is based at the air force base there in Florida and he went in a kayak and a gator almost tipped him over so don't use kayaks
Gators can be in any water in Florida, including salt water occasionally. They just sit on the bottom when it’s rough (windy). Most Floridians swim with them during the day. They are very attracted to dogs like Maxine, though, so please be careful. The woman that died recently-the gator was going for her dog, not her. She tripped😢
If I would have told my family we were going for a hike after Thanksgiving dinner. They would have told me bye because they love to just sit around and rest and talk or play a game. Lol 😂 I don’t care for pie much but my husband loves pecan pie. I will eat cheesecake with fruit topping. BTW- Since your older children didn’t get to come for thanksgiving do you think they will be able to visit Christmas? I hope so! I really miss seeing and getting life updates on them.
We've always had chocolate pie for Thanksgiving!! It's definitely more wide spread than you think.
I don't do much with pie for any time of year ... however ... My mom always always had pumpkin and apple and some "other" kind of pie each year for Thanksgiving. My hubby always had the apple pie. Now I knew he really likes apple and would ask for some kind of apple pie at different times of year. BUT it wasn't until oh about 35 years of marriage that I realized that the reason he always had the apple pie at my parent's house on Thanksgiving was because he HATES pumpkin (and bananas but that's another story). I know I know horrible wife ... 😆but I'm getting better ... we are still "learning", and it's going on 43 years come June

We always had chocolate meringue, chocolate fudge, and chess pie for holidays. Now I skip the chess pie and make Honey Bun Cake, Butterfinger Cake, & Chess Squares instead. Chocolate meringue is my all time favorite, but not my family, lol. Right now, I'm on the hunt for the best coconut cake recipe-I've been craving one for years and never made it. This is the year!! ❤
My favourite pie is cherry pie, For Thanksgiving, and sometime pumpkin
Sure fire eggs for deviled eggs. Bring water to boil gently placed large eggs into the pot. I use a strainer. Some may break but that’s OK then set the timer for 15 minutes. Don’t touch it at one minute get a pot in the sink with mostly ice and water when the 15 minutes goes off dump the eggs not the boiling water just the eggs into the ice bath. Let them cool, the peel will come right off. Try it with just one, but you will never go back.

Sweet potato pie is my favorite and pecan is my husbands! But we love ALL pies! All fruit pies are delicious. I love coconut cream pie made with actual coconut!! But I’m definitely trying your recipe made with coconut cream.
Try sprinkling paprika on top of your deviled eggs. It really makes a difference. I think you’ll love it.
I always cook my ham with brown sugar,pineapple, and Vernon's and I bake it in the oven.

Something that revolutionized my deviled eggs was using a Pampered Chef Easy Accent Decorator (like an icing or cookie shooter). No matter what the white shell looks like, the yoke mixture comes out in a star/flower shape and looks pretty amazing. Be sure to whip the yoke mixture with an electric mixer to get out any lumps, then use the largest star shaped tip to squeeze it into the shells. You'll have beautiful eggs every time! Blessings, Janell PS I've found adding Beau Monde spice to my eggs really enhances the flavor - just cut back on salt if you do use it.

I put onion salt and regular mayonnaise in my deviled eggs and sprinkle them with paprika. I have to make them for every family get together big or small. Everyone loves them. I get tired of making them!😊 Your tree is lovely!🎄

I put onions, bell pepper, brown sugar and some smoked barbecue sauce in my baked beans. It’s really good.
I remember the ham you were talking about. It was longer. I think they called it a picnic ham. I loved it. It all looked so good.

My favorite pie now is Cracker Barrel chocolate pecan pie ... oh YUM! Warmed with vanilla ice cream and then it's like an upside-down sundae! ❤ It's seasonal though. Pecan is probably my all around favorite. And then sour cream Blueberry from Marie Callendars. Warmed apple with cheddar & vanilla is also yummy. My Mom baked so many things. I miss her custard.

I like to have pecan pie if you want my choice on Thanksgiving pies. I really like to have cheesecake. That is my favorite. This year we had pumpkin, one from a restaurant, one from the store, and one homemade one that had a thin layer of carmel directly on the crust with the pumpkin on top. We also had a store bought lemon pie. That was delicious.
I like chocolate pudding pie and coconut cream. I would rather have boxed stuffing and instant mashed potatoes. Its very rare I use convience foods like that but every once in awhile its such a treat!! Hope your day has been great, see you tomorrow!! ❤😎🙏

My dad lived my mom's pies. She ysed cooked pudding boxes because thats what there was before instant. She made chocolate and banana and would cover them with whipped stiff egg whites and brown that in oven. His other favorite was rhubarb. I miss them! Blessings.

From the uk. I’ve been loving your videos from Florida. Watching you prepare what you like eating hits home for me. This year for the first time in my 15 year relationship we decided we are staying at home for Christmas and eating what we like. Over the years I’ve catered for up to 15 and last year I decided I wasn’t enjoying turkey so my husband is getting turkey for him, I’m having home made lasagne and my daughter will have what she fancies even if that means a hot dog. If Jamie Oliver says eat what you enjoy, who am I to argue. 😊
Oh pudding pie is a family fave, but my fave is pecan pie. My family would have a fit if i opened up a can of baked beans for Thanksgiving. My family has to have their dad's home made 😊

Whenever we have ham I do a sauce as a side dish and put it over my ham when eating......in a sauce pan heat up ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar. stir to combine everything well and simmer for a couple of minutes. voila...so tasty - use it like a condiment

I did the exact same thing with making home-made baked beans right after I was married. The flavor was great - the beans were harder than a rock! I was so bummed out because I wanted to impress my husband as a new wife! Never tried that again! 😁

Don't t know if you'll read this i am lactose intolerant too, with cheese the stronger the cheese the less lactose is in it so i find with really strong tasting cheese i can eat it without any of the usual problems thought this may help jenson as if hes like me and loves cheese xx

You need to get the Thanksgiving videos up before Thanksgiving so it gives people time to use some of your traditions and recipes. You are an influencer, you can have your thanksgiving a week early for your followers. It’s just frustrating to see it after the holidays and say darn it I should have done that lol
