One of my new favorite videos! The cherry on top was the ending. The singing by the older children was so beautiful. The food looked “ Gorden Ramsey” worthy and I’m sure delicious! All the children helping prepare and serve was so nice. You can feel the love in this family. Amber and Marc have done a fabulous job raising these children to be polite, loving and outstanding citizens. Happy Thanksgiving!
My Mom always had a jello salad. It was lime jello, cream cheese, crushed pineapple and pecans. We always called Green Stuff. She would have Thanksgiving and Christmas and Easter. If it wasn’t on the table someone would always ask where’s the green stuff. Also we too had peas at Thanksgiving but we had creamed peas. My Dad was not overly fond of green vegetables. He tolerated green beans as long as mom made them (southern cook-cooked them for hours with fat back) but he really liked creamed peas.

We always let the wishbone dry overnight, that way it breaks easily!! Happy belated Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. Hug each other tight because you never know how long you have with each other. My beautiful mama passed away 7 days after Thanksgiving. She was perfectly fine on Thanksgiving and then she suffered a severe stroke 5 days later and passed on Nov 30th. The loss of our mom is just devestating. 😢💔

After supper when we were young we would always sing after the meal.I had 8 brothers and sisters.Mom would start us of.It was mostly Country music or just you are my sunshine or old celtic music.My point is I will cherish those happy times with my family.

Now I finally celebrated Thanksgiving with your beautiful family.....I was all alone today...my husband is in rehab recovering from a stroke...I am home trying to get over covid.....my son and his wife both have it and couldnt visit...so I enjoyed your celebration so much...the singing was so beautiful and I played it over and over....you are so lucky with girls girls and husband helping with the cooking and your son...your children are amazing the way they help the younger ones...the food looked delicious................anything with lavender has to be good and its so calming...lol
