Strong showing. Stacked parkrun field there. Hopefully see you at Chester Marathon. Btw we bought a couple of visors to fix the Insta on. Allows for free circulation of air as I found my head was overheating too wearing a cap.
Great content as usual Jody; I beat the pram guy the week before for the first time. He is a machine. Have you tried Bromley that is supposed to be quicker?
don't worry too much about it, some of us are high cadence runners. as long as it isn't more than that you'll be ok. some tips i got: - do a couple of strides at the end of your easy runs - incorporate some hill strides every once in a while - concentrate on hip flexors during mobility exercises
I think so! I've done 6x1K@3.25/km (with 2 min walk/jog recovery), so I know the speed is there, just gotta work on that endurance that is coming along, but a lot slower than before. i improved very quickly from being able to Sub 20 5K and then 1 hour 24 half within 6 months, but I don't think I'll be seeing gains that quickly again! Just gotta stay fit and keep grinding away.
@@CrownMyRun oh man, that would be an epic video! Dublin is tough to get into. There's one south of Dublin called Lap of the Gap that I would pay genuine money (euro) to see yourself or Mr.D suffer through 🤣😅
I wonder whether you could have gotten the pink top should he not been able to hear your dramatic temporary gasping. Probably he was just afraid of getting inhaled, and that made him accelerate.
All the J Mills, W Mills, P Mills stuff really puts me off subscribing. I don't know what it is, but it really annoys me. Just use their names and your own name. You're not in the bloody Spice Girls.
“Pain is temporary, parkrun is forever” 😂
Amen!
Best quote you’ve ever dropped
'Nom nom, pink top I want you too' 😂 love it ❤
😂😂
impressive that you (only) finish 34th with a 17:45 in a parkrun!!! very strong race - keep up the work and videos ;)
Thank you!
J Mills running at the end like he's skulled wearing full rune (g) in level 40 wildy
Was spamming logout the whole time

Amazing kick at the end, channeling your inner passion prince
Always! ♥️
Some pretty impressive carving through the field at the end there, J Mills 👍
Cheers mate!
Absolutely lovely! Well Done J Mills! 💪🚀
Cheers lad!

Thank you! Yeah, hopefully get to meet you guys 😊😊. Interesting.. I'll look into getting one myself as it's certainly becoming an issue!
Fantastic 🎉 The finish was epic! 💪🏃♂️
Cheers mate!!
Love to see a fresh new JMills vid drop into my sub box
Great effort, epic rally at the end. Nom, nom indeed 😂
Thanks!
Another quality offering. Comments now becoming progressively out of date as I chuckle my way through your running exploits in reverse.
Thanks J Mills for all the videos. Hope to see you in Paignton in a couple of weeks time
🤞🤞
That battle against pink top was legendary
He won this battle..
@@CrownMyRun he put his butt right in the racing line blocking any possible overtake
@@TBasianeyesA lovely little racing move from him (definitely not a race though)
Keep them coming big boy!
Excellent running.
Thanks mate!
Great Vid / Commentary 👌
Thank you!
All Aboard!!!
🚂🚂
Enormous. 🎉

I have not 👀👀 Consider me intrigued if it is!
any tips on lowering cadence?
got my 10k pb of 36:04 on sunday at my first 10k race,
everyone around me was around 170-180 my cadence was 191 average.
I wouldn't worry too much if that's your first 10K race. I think you're more likely to injure yourself trying to run in a non-natural way.
@@CrownMyRun thanks for the reply, love the content :)
@mesbrowning4018 Thanks mate!
191 is excellent!

I'll see you at GSR. Well probably not as it gets packed! Hoping for a sub 70 this year!
We'll see what fate has in store for us, good luck!
Do you reckon sub 17 is ever on the table for you..? Love the vlogs always btw!

50th Parkrun special edition this weekend? 👀🏃🏻🎉
Gonna have to wait a month as so many races coming up but I'll make it a special one!
Any more London parkruns in the calendar?
Maybe one I can fit in during October and then back regularly in November!
Shadow looks like D Mills to me.
Hahahah.
You should put the total time on the screen also!
I need insta360 to add elapsed time on the overlay, Difficult to sync up myself with multiple clips!
You should try Belfast Victoria Parkrun the women’s record for parkrun was set there and there is a lot of fast runners
I wanna do em all 😂😂😂
Please do some runs over the pond in Ireland 🇮🇪 😊
I do fancy Dublin Marathon 👀

@@robingahan1234 Well, it looks absolutely grim but not quite as bad as Beachy head full Marathon 😂😂 Maybe a stepping stone!

It's a fantastic Kirby impression, isn't it
@@CrownMyRun I'd rather say Pacman than Kirby, but I didn't really play Kirby games myself. Anyways... looking forward to being overtaken some day 😅
