oh my god. what chemistry. have two people looked more in love, more beautiful, more in sync with their acting styles than sridevi and kamal in vazhvey mayam??? how I really wish they'd done more love stories together in the 80s. The movies they did together in the 70s are great but like, sridevi was a baby.. a very talented actress and a powerful screen presence and star power but still a baby. So I would have liked to see them together when she was slightly more grown up and see I love sridevi and I understand her doing movies with Jeetendra in the 80s was essential for her to become popular in the north and gain that box office dominance and superstar tag among northies and I know kamal went for more hero-centric movies afterwards that cut down the role of heroines a lot and reduced them to flower pot characters but ... I really wish sri had worked with kamal more in the 80s and kamal had done more romance dramas or romcoms that equally focus on heroine's role. How I wish they'd done Mouna Ragam with Mani Ratnam or even something like Roja but alas, I shouldn't let "what could be" burden "what we have" I love Vazhve Mayam and Moondram Pirai that we got with them.
As a kannadiga anr looked baffon sorry to say 58 years with bell bottoms really except kamal Hassan anant nag vishnu vardhan no hero had mass handsome appeal in bell bottoms kamal from this film didn't wear bell bottoms

Never..I don't agree with you...Whatever you blabbered aa ger colour or beauty are her personal endeavours which is nothing to do with her extraordinary talent for which she is known for as India's 1st Female Superstar...She was extremely famous during her b/w era to her last film zero/mom the era of height of technology till 2018. A female protagonist who could withstand for five decades is something never heard of even in Hollywood hut she proved everyone wrong and achieved it...She was having healthy rivalries with so many in Malayalam, Tamil,Telugu and Hindi and cane out no.1 in every competition ..She is the only actress who acted one and only with Superstars of all the major languages except for some movies she paired with ordinary heroes and she is the only actress who worked under the top most directors of Indian Film industry in all the major languages even Kanal who could come close to her never could achieve in hindi and Telugu like Dasari and Mahendran or Yash chopra never directed Kamal ..So in that aspect only artist (male or female) who worked under all the top notch directors of Tamil,Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi is and going to be none in future too that is one and only SRIDEVI...So please leave alone her plastic surgery or artificial look but see her achievements as a child artist to India's no.1 and first Female Superstar...That's is it...We South Indians should proud of her as Our own heroine who ruled the entire nation's Film industry for so many decades without any debacle....
