@@nootthezero5508 many of Lucas's "combos" rely on opponents not tech the ground/ not knowing how to DI. Most aren't true even if you get those type of opponents. I say Lucas is a good mid tier player slayer, his tool kit is great for destroying people with bad habits and things of the such. But when it comes to top players he has trouble getting anything working on them. This is coming from a person who plays Ness/Lucas the most out of any characters in the roster.
I see so many of these vids where the Lucas gets embarrassed. It's about time we got this video. And for that first clip to include schooling a Young Link? Perfection.
A lot of online Lucas spam PK Freeze and a lot of Ness spam PK Fire but pros don't and actually make sick combos (also some online too) so it really depends on the players ability to exploit their main's moves
Let this be a lesson, Lucas isn't a braindead fire spammer. All online Lucas "mains" spam fire because either A. They aren't good at the character. B. They can't perform more technical things like d.j.c.zair because lag. C. Both. Given the right circumstances, Lucas is actually a really scary character to fight against.
