    I wish she could come to my Lil town in Oklahoma and do MY hair!!!! SO AWESOME and professional. Guess I'm gonna go DIY mess my hair up now bc I'm noway near this professional lol. Here I go! Thanks for the great video. Very informative, easy to understand, well spoken and nicely done. Some videos r so awful! And just done BADLY! AT least this woman's voice is nice to listen to, using Good diction and instruction with a naturally pleasant accent as well. Not that anyone can help the last part but man it makes a huge difference when ur trying to understand something IMPORTANT ESPECIALLY when it's something so time consuming! Thanks wish me luck! I'm gonna need it! Lol

    Hi Kristi another absolute fabulous tutorial I Loved it and what a fabulous reaction you got from your client lovely to hear😊 and it was most definitely worth the "300" bowls of bleach you had to use 😉🤣 for such a great end result! I used your Zig Zag back combing technique on a lady today and have to say I was Delighted with end result so thank you so much for that 👍 it was seamless and I too got a very nice reaction so all down to you 😘 enjoy your well deserved day off and can't wait for your " big reveal " 😉🤔😊 stay well and thanks Kristi X

      Oh that makes me so happy to hear! Learning new tricks is crucial in our industry and I even love hearing tips from you guys too!
      I think im going to do a video explaining my business plan and ideas I have. I had a let down this week but finally decided that im going to give myself a year to get everything in order and move forward from there.
      BUT! The reason why I started a UA-cam channel in the first place has everything to do with my 2 -5 year plan.... so hopefully soon I can share with you all and work on making it a reality! Thank you always for being so supportive!

    So I have dark hair like her should I not do a shadow root then? It's not necessary? Or is it only if I do a lot of highlights or if I mess up? I ordered blondme and their T- steel blue and T icy toners.. and 7 developer.. I was thinking of mixing both? What are your thoughts on those toners?

  • @valeriedazzle
    @valeriedazzle 3 роки тому +1

    😍😍😍 love this! I must try it!.. quick question : so her before look had her natural with half way down old color, what did you do with the bottom part? How did you get rid of it? Or did the toner tone it a little?

    • @hairbykristijennings6648
      @hairbykristijennings6648  3 роки тому

      Her hair was natural, so either that was the lighting making it look lighter, or just naturally from the sun. I didn't put anything on that part of her hair.

  • @makeupbykulz8603

    Hey doll, Is the Paul Michell brand good for Asian hair ? Just curious as is why you used all violet purple tones for the toner and not the ash ? … did u mix all four together ? Or applied the 8 lvl near the roots and 10 near the ends .
    Thanks xx

    • @hairbykristijennings6648
      @hairbykristijennings6648  2 роки тому +2

      Hello! I mixed all those together.... I used mostly the level 10/9 levels to keep hair hair as light as possible and just a dash of the level 8 to help tone down any darker brassy areas there might be. I used 1/2 Pa - 1/2 V tones to eliminate the yellow and darker brass where the 8 sits. I like using Pa vs A cause it softens the tone a little. I think if you get the hair light enough, this line is great for any type of hair however I don't think it does well with cooling down level 7-8 ash tones. (When I use it anyways....) it's too translucent. That's why I like using schwarzkopf for brassier levels.

      Thank you so much! I usually show a lot in my Instagram stories, or posts. It’s hard to show pictures on UA-cam cause unless you crop the picture really small it doesn’t allow to show the picture in whole, it kind of scrolls from top to bottom. This took I think almost 3-4 hours? Thank you for watching!

    How do you feel about up to 7 by Schwarzkopf? Ive used it on thick dark brown and got a lovely lift . Would u use it for a short amount of time on someone with finer but wavy hair?
    Also, do you think this technique would work on shoulder length hair well?

    • @hairbykristijennings6648
      @hairbykristijennings6648  3 роки тому +1

      I haven't used that but I'm sure it would be just as great, possibly not as strong a bleach? I think this technique would work good on curly hair. Id just think that curly hair, especially fine curly hair tends to mesh together alot. Maybe do larger sections even to make sure that the highlights dont get lost in the curl

  • @nancyslavin7992
    @nancyslavin7992 3 роки тому +1

    I tried your technique today.... I loved doing it..... my question is....do you find that at the top of the blonde, where you feather it up, do you get any golden pieces? I did it on colored hair.... so it was harder to lift, and at the top of the foils were a little gold and the rest of the strands were a nice yellow that I was able to tone very nicely. How do I avoid the gold??

    • @hairbykristijennings6648
      @hairbykristijennings6648  3 роки тому +4

      Yes, I feel like it's impossible to avoid and should be explained with all clients that balayage, of any kind, creates warm tones in that transitional area. It's cause we softly feather up into that area so it's hard to get full saturation right there and lay the bleach on thick to where it lightens past the warm tones. Always always make sure to explain that to your clients, let them know that if they hate warmth, you can always go over that area with a root shadow to blend away the warmth. CHARGE FOR IT. Especially if someone has dye on their hair, let them know to expect brassiness and that hopefully we can lift pass it.

    So, I've done a blonde foilaye on countless occasions and for some reason my foils always come out ashy. Apparently that's what everyone wants but I have an olive skin tone, as a Hispanic and want a warmer blonde tone. How Can I achieve this? I go back for toner and I really only get the warmer blonde after weeks of using a purple shampoo. Is there no way to get an instant result that I'm hoping for? I feel like I'm dreaming for the impossible st this point

    • @hairbykristijennings6648
      @hairbykristijennings6648  2 роки тому

      Are you sure the stylist doesn’t tone ashy? Even if you tell her no, she could still be toning ashy….. next time she washes you out, after bleaching, ask to see what it looks like. Spoils be yellow.

      @@hairbykristijennings6648 well, my stylist is not st the salon I go to but I went to another woman there who is just as good. I let her know I always come out ashy and then need to come back to get the tone fixed. She assured me she would make sure it came out as a yellow and then tone it. Not sure if it's just the fact that I have dark hair and am trying to achieve a blonde but it seems I never get the colour I truly am hoping for. The ashy blonde is nice but I prefer a warmer colour. The closest we ever got was adding a brown and yellow mixed together
