I’m watching on my tv on my ps4 rn but I had to come on my phone and say that you’ve been so helpful to me with understanding the “why”s and “how”s for placement! As a stylist who was a cutter for 6 years behind the chair, coming out into the world of color, and trying to refresh and relearn all these techniques has been extremely challenging for me. But the way you explain things and show what and why you’re thinking the way you are throughout the whole process is beyond amazing to me. @@hairbykristijennings6648 I have a lot of fine hair, so I LOVE chunky...no body in Florida can seem to understand chuncky, they always give me small highlights then my hair looks like a wigs. I still need to fly out to get my hair done...havent forgotten. Now, I'm waiting for this election BS to get over with.

Its all in a proper consultation!! Finding out if they're getting a cut, trim, etc.to avoid coloring hair that is just gonna end up getting cut off anyway!! I can't speak enough on consultations with clients, making sure you're both on the same page as far as color, cut and customer knowing their price before they get to the register!!! Great job Kristi!!

Ashlee normans never let go comb 👏🏽🤩! Please keep making these videos because I use your methods sometimes when I’m not super comfy. I have a partial “chunky highlights” client on Tuesday. I’ll use the light and medium weave an tease sections with some dimension, a few medium highlight sections and thin slices.

What shears do you use?
Oh man I can't remember. I bought them thru my guy that sharpens my shears. I was going to buy the Hanzo or whatever shears and they were twice as much and less quality

Im sorry if 30 minutes of your time qualifies as all day! But thank you, for showing me exactly why I have such bad anxiety with voice overs. Im always afraid, and say so in my videos, that I'm worried im not making sense, or rambling on. Which gives me more anxiety that I over explain things to make sure im making sense, creating this anxious cycle. So thank you for pointing out my biggest insecurity!
