This line is gold: "Yakapin mo ako kahit di na totoo." Means " Embrace me even if it's no longer true."

oks lang ako in english is i’m okay(oks) or i’m fine. his singing voice is just unique, cozy and high pitched

This is nostalgic! I like Jroa. You might want to check his cover of Nadarang (og artist - Shanti Dope) with Agsunta. The music video was about him letting go. His ex-girlfriend is with his friend. They were in the same friend group inside the club. He was trying to act fine to ensure he didn't bother his friends and ex. By the end, they hug one last time, then he lets go of her.

Gurrrl listen to more John Roa he really is your typa vibe his music is just simply AMAZING ❤

  • @Veryverybry

It's a song about letting go. The title meant "I'm okay". He's basically telling the girl to go where she would be happier, and that he'll be okay somehow. 😢

J.Roa appeared as special guest on The Juan's live performance of ITUTULOG NA LANG and he sang this song at the last part. That was just a surprise guesting.

The advantage of John Roa is he is a singer songwriter and most of his songs were hits, he was also discovered through social media creating his own name, not like other singers mostly tried multiple audition and competitions.

    Oks Lang Lyrics

  • @migsgarcia

One of the most painfully realistic songs written from recent rising artists in the PH. Song is about accepting sometimes your partner just falls out of love and letting them go for them to be happy somewhere else (or with someone else) is the right thing to do, even if you still love them truly. The breakup still has full of love but he just tries to hide his pain to give way for her to be happy. The version under the "stages sessions" channel is my favorite version of this.
