I've struggled with the V split designs for forever. This tutorial is MUCH appreciated!
Yay! That makes me SO happy to know it was helpful!!!
your finish is awesome..
Thank you! I greatly appreciate that!
So cool! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!!
I have been wanting to try air brushing micas. Thanks for showing me that it works! Beautiful cup! I love your idea on getting the perfect v split too. I always seem to make it harder than it is.
You are so very welcome!!! And tha k you for watching. I love to help teach and show!!!!
Amazing
Thank you so very much
Nice video! Miss your lives on llr
Thank you and I greatly appreciate that!!! I miss doing lives!! I do go live sometimes on TikTok but it's not the same, I felt like I truly knew you guys and had a family!!
I'm not stocking you, I promise. LOL. You probably don't remember me anyway. I begged you for a tutorial on your beautiful ombres a long time ago. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for the tip about the Polycrylic on holographic vinyl! Just wish I would have seen this before I made my granddaughters pens for Christmas. I'll definitely keep this in mind the next time I make more though!
Haha stock away!!! Im just grateful someone actually watches my tutorials!! And I'm almost caught up on my orders so I can most definitely make an ombre tutorial! I know I made some for a FB group I used to be part of, but thats been a couple years ago.
Thank you! Beautiful tumbler. As many videos that I've watched, this is the first one that I've seen use Elmer's glue as a glitter adhesive! Great idea!!
It works just fine! 😁
Love your horse decal could you share the link where to find it please
I apologize I don't remember where exactly I found it. I've had that image for a long time. You might be able to find it looking up horse head vectors/png on Google or etsy.
I know strange ?
I love how your tapes are hanging
I’ve been struggling
Can I see a posture on how it is mounted
Not a strange question at all. What I have them haning on is just a paper towel holder I got from walmart for like $4-$5, and just hang the tape rolls on it.
You were speaking of the cold, where are you located?😊
I'm in northern Idaho.
Please tell me about your exhaust
I have a couple questions about the process for this cup... 1. I don't have an air brush. Could I achieve the same look by using a paint brush and dry mica to paint it over a black surface? 2. Could you have just left the tape on around the glitter until you sealed it, or do you recommend doing this step to ensure clean painted areas and lines? Thanks!
Hello there and thank you for reaching out!!! The air brushed method is just a preference for me as it alleviates brush strokes and leaves a smooth looking surface. However I have seen another video where someone applied tack it to a cup and then brushed on mica powder and then burnished it. It looked pretty smooth from the video, but I obviously couldn't 100% guarantee you wouldn't be able to see some brush strokes. You could also try mixing some mica powder into a small amount of epoxy and applying a thin layer of it to the cup.... and then as far as the glitter area. I recommend doing it like I showed in the video, I've tried waiting until it was dried and sealed before removing the tape, and it almost always chunks out areas of glitter with it that have to be replaced... lol and I'm just OCD with having to have clean lines so I find that this is what works best for me out of all the different methods I've tried.
