A STANDING OVATION to Gaahleri for absolutely knocking it out of the park. Thank you Thank you. It's soo awesome that an actual airbrush company is paying attention to the market and their consumers. You have made me a customer for life. Great review Thank you. Everyone keep yourselves and love ones safe and healthy and remember to SMILE 😊God Bless 🙏
The new 2024 Harder and Steenbeck (H&S) look to be game changers, continuous improvement coupled with listening to customers etc. Of course there's a price difference, but we know that H&S last well, so offer value for money.
Good to see a new company on the market, also that a Chinese firm is going for it, going for innovation and quality/value for money. I've Chinese friends, clever, honourable folk. Downside? The CCP's involvement with most of not all Chinese companies. That has to be an ethical concern re human rights issues, the pandemic etc, arms supplies to "meh Russia". I'm apolitical but we have to consider these things now💔🤔🤔💔✌️💜
About time. I'll gladly pay more for Quality Every time Buying Cheap Things only breaks Your heart later on.
Bro how, my GHAD-39 is always having problems and also being clogged and spluttering, but that could be me I have been not taking great care of them, I’ll see if it’s the airbrush when I get my Morbius 0.3
Gaahleri has been hitting it out of the park with all of their releases so I expect nothing less with these new products. I have the Barbatos Rex Swallowtail and it’s probably the best I’ve ever owned. All of my friends that have seen/handled it are really impressed and will probably be customers in the near future.
Greetings and I hope you had a great Christmas too, Robert!! 🎄
I've been really impressed with my Gaahleri airbrush! I got the lower priced one when you first showed these brand airbrush.
I could never get my Iawata Neo to work right. But never had a problem with this Gaahleri one.
I couldn't agree more! My Neo was nothing short of garbage. The GHAD-39 is everything the neo wished it could be and more!
@@DaneSaysStuff exactly!
Neo was the worst brand name airbrush I've ever owned. Shame on Iwata putting their name on those
@@barbatosrex9473 not to mention the price that Iwata was selling those Neo's for!
Wonderful review! And to your guy wanting the fan cap tested, BUY THE FAN CAP!!! TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! with the .7mm, it does a wonderful job with thicker paints. I like thinner paints. 7 can really push it out. If doing a car body, it's easy to get to much laid down on a radius causing poop. With the .5 ONLY needle, the fan cap can cover the entire side of the body evenly. I do use the .7mm needle, primers, glitter etc. But 1/32 / 1/35 wings or 1/24 & 1/16 auto bodies, .5 with fan cap all day long. IMHO. Once again as always my friend, thanks for all you do! I've been with you from the beginning and I'll be here till the end! One day I hope to buy an actual compressor for doing this and get away from the husky, but for now it works and cost me nothing extra. So glad I found your channel and really value your non bias reviews! Thank you so much!
Thank you my friend for your support. Much appreciated
Thanks for the review I am saving up for you swallow tail. You so a lot for us that air brush!!!
Gaahleri is really doing a great job, the fact that they collaborated with Barbatos Rex proves they are interested in improving their product. Thank you both. Have a safe and healthy new year. 🎉
This airbrush look beautiful and they look that can do the job easily is a shame that I don't have the money to buy them right now I hope the keep making it for when I have the money because I really want them thanks for the video rex always watching your videos for reference and tips to airbrush
Wow that Mobius .3 looks like an all-around workhorse!!!
I picked up one over your summer Amazon prime recommendation, really great to see their product line and Barbatos Rex you're the best! 👍 🍻
The looks and sound of perfection!!
Good review and explanation of the airbrush parts.
Thank you Robert. So many choices!!
Glad to see a company striving for a great product!
Very good cleaning advise and technique
Pulled the trigger on the 0.3, should get it this week, along with the $87 compressor. As a beginner this setup should be sweet!!!
Ty for the information!
I have to get them! Great job, Rex. Keep the vids coming. You are the man!
I just seen their post and was going to ask you if you seen it! But hear it is 🙏🏻🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You have to say one thing about Gaahleri they don't rest. They also don't seem to make bad products. You finally got me to bite the bullet Robert and I got the last recommended Gaahleri for $30. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and you and your family are well!
Got the swallowtail then just ordered the .2mm Mobius due to your video, also angradulations on doing another airbrush with these guys.......hopefully it's a detail brush.......hint, hint!!!!! Have a happy new year Barbatos.......also fan cap is always sold out , hopefully comes back soon......
That red paint jar looks like a can of Campbell's tomato soup. Nice airbrushed Gaahleri been doing nice an Affordable on pricing. I pick up the 0.2mm Mobius.
The thing about these airbrush reviews are that they all seem very good. How does this stack up against the NeoEco, Iwata Eclipse and Creos / Procon Boy?
Thanks for the detailed response, @@twig4590 . What was wrong with your 0.2? Is it fixable in any regard? It's good of them to offer you a no-questions refund. I am seriously thinking about adding a Creos to my collection; but an airbrush is a want and not a need at this point as I own quite a few brushes already. The Mobius had me interested due to the highly polished cup, the Mac and the cutaway handle; all great aspects to have in a tool. A shame to know that they're not quite there yet.
I really like my swallowtail air brush. Though both of these are sweet. I love this companies products, and their customer service is earth shattering, I have no complaints what so ever. I highly recommend Galleria to all my friends. Thank you Robert for video.😅
An awesome company that really came out of nowhere
I just watched Gaalheria intro video for the two Mobius air brushes their innovation points are amazing on the Mobius aur brushes. I'm going to have to work some Overtime so I can purchase one or maybe both models. I recommend everyone watch Gaalheria intro videos of the Mobius air brushes.
@@bobrivett7645 I watched them last night when I got the email on them. They are very impressive!
I’m glad to see they are still innovating!
Just got the .3 model as I was really impressed with the atomization in your video of the swallowtail. You can just tell by looking at it that it's atomizing well, and for the price it's really amazing.
Very impressive design and I love the look. Thank you for this review!
These gaahleri airbrushes are absolutely amazing.. I love my swallowtail and these 2 are my next purchase thanks for all you do Robert.. your channel is the best. Im always excited to watch your videos..
Robert, You convinced me! Just bought the Gaahleri Airbrush Mobius 0.2! Great job demonstrating how well it atomizes chrome paint. Just what I was looking for. By the way, I also purchased the Amazon special for $29.99! I'm stoked!!! Update: After ordering my airbrush (Mobius .2mm) yesterday I received it via UPS the very next day. I found that Los Angeles is the point of distribution and I live in Santa Monica, CA. It's a great brush and worth every penny I spent. Everyone, go out and get one while the price is right.
As someone who is usually critical of Gaahleri airbrushes I can say I have ordered this new Mobius 0.3. I like their forward thinking with the airflow/atomization. The highly polished cup is also a plus. Thanks for the reviews.
I’ve been super happy with all my Gaahleri products including your swallowtail. Looks like I’m adding the .2 to the arsenal! Thx for the review
Is there a test that you can do with how they work with Primer? A little thicker paint on the fence whether or not I want to buy because I don’t like that have to buy to brushes. I’m more of a two in one brush guy. But wanted to know how it did with primers. Thanks and Happy New Years! Love the channel!
I will try that soon
I do need to buy a Compressor and a good .02 sprayer. I've been using a hand held but it gets the job done for now. I been focusing on buying models since some of which I am afraid they might retire some of them at the same time buying certain stuff for me to build for my granddaughter. I'm hoping by the summer I can get my area upgraded and built to my liking. I think I am gonna focus on maybe 3 paint brands and leave it at that. I do appreciate all of your input I have learned a lot for the little bit of time I have been around watching your videos they have helped me a lot. I wish I could do more for ya but my funds are so limited it's not funny barely getting by with what I do get. When there are deals it helps out a lot for someone like me.
What a great informative video I like the airbrushs an I appreciate the time you invest in are videos you made for us 👍🏻👍🏻thank you
I have the Advanced Gaahleri airbrush and love it. Just about does it all and gives me a great finish. As you noted it's very easy to clean.
Awesome products from them as always!
Love your videos soon must great information and I enjoy the way you talk with us!! Praying for your wife to recover soon hope your family had a fantastic Christmas and Thank you for introducing me to this great company for all around airbrush supplies! I think I will ordered the package deal air compressor and I love the trigger control gun! God bless you too!
Wow Robert Im certainly no Painter but with you advice & Products reviews I get to see techniques & tools been a backgrounder for yrs, love your channel thank You & Happy New Year
I have their #39 , Watched his video to day on these & when i saw the price... Wow , pulled the trigger on both. Can't wait to receive them.
These really are awesome, I especially like the 0.3
I'd like to see more objective tests that do more than just spray wide areas. Right now, I haven't seen anything from this airbrush that cannot be done with a $20 Amazon one, although I have a feeling that this airbrush may be a top contender in quality close to a Creos or middle-upper end Iwata. Trigger control, consistency, feel are all very important.
I feel that type a tangent grooves should be applied to all Ace and above line up! I have an Ace myself and it's top notch 💯 I highly recommend Gaahleri 👌🏽
I would love to give these a try. I collect Airbrushes, and have examples from just about every major brand.
You sound like me 😅
@@barbatosrex9473 yup! Odd thing is my go-to is an old Badger Patriot 105 that I have LITERALLY cleaned the chrome off over the years!
So, I came into a little windfall, and since I have been a relatively good boy lately... (well, at least nobody died...) I ordered some of these airbrushes.I Ordered the Swallowtail, the .2 mobius, the 98D, and the 39. all that for only slightly more than one of my Harder and Steenbecks! So far, I LOVE the swallowtail, as I generally have issues with my hands, but havent had the opportunity to use the others yet. Thank you, Sir!
@@barbatosrex9473
Got to get them....❤
Really wish the 0.3 had a mac valve it is a 100% must for me for my airbrush that is one reason I love my procon boy so much
The premium version has sold out! I am looking forward to the 2nd release.
Great airbrush unboxing and comparison video. Thanks.
I have two Gaahleris. Looks like I'm gonna get two more.
Another great review. Thanks.
I love your reviews - straight to the point and honest! 😀
I’ve ordered the 0.3 as I need a new brush in that size. I’m impressed by the pricing. I don’t work after a surgical accident and price is important for me now. I’m hoping to save over the next couple of months and get the swallowtail as I also have rheumatoid arthritis in both hands and for a long session the pistol grip is so much more comfortable. It’s my birthday in a month so maybe I can ask the wife for funds to put toward it.
Thanks for the great reviews on everything you cover, they are very informative.
Hello Mike, send me your address, I'll see what I can do for you. My email is in the description below the video
another great video on an outstanding airbrush
Love my Mobius 2.0 for all my Alclad.
Great products!! I think the reason the paint is atomized so well is those curved groves. They work very similar to a rifles rifling witch puts the spin on the round going down the barrel. Im sure this airbrush does the same thing, it puts a very mineute spin on the paint. That's why it atomize's the paint so well. In the military we had a class about ballistics, an how the spin + distance = a target hit. Quite a bit of mathematics. But lm sure the principal is the same. Aussie Skot.
wow, they just start selling few hours ago, and u already get it? Nice.
I already have 98D, wonder how is it perform compare to 98D? sadly according to the Gaahleri guy the nozzles & needles are not interchangeable.
BTW, Merry Xmas!
They ship to him before release as part of their advertising campaign.
You make so many videos do you still do your models? Love to see some of your work.
Haven't had time for building but I hope to soon
thank you for responding to me greatly appreciate it.
Great information as always!
Future purchase indeed 😊
Yes indeed!
I have the swallowtail and it's my go to brush I like the nozzle design on the Mobius and I think you're right they are on to something with that. I can't decide on which Mobius to get I like the .2 and the mac air control but the .3 seems to make more sense so I bought both of them, seems like the right thing to do. 😄
Always changing an improving the tools of the trade, as the newer ones come out and perform better the question becomes what to do with the old tools?
Some beautiful airbrushes. That chrome paint is pretty spectacular also
Nice review!!
Also…ammo just released ATOM paint line. Cant wait for your review!
They look real nice!
Awesome company I have bought 5 of there brushes including yours and I am pretty sure I’ll be adding these two
my wife does cookie, and cake decorating, would these be recommended for that application?
Yes, my friend airbrushes cakes and I just told him about these
Looks like a great airbrush, for the price seems very good. Just ordered h&s squidmar evo. So my money is no more to be seen. But if I need another I’ll have these in mind. Seeing forward to yours
I just ordered both of them. Including these 2, I've purchased 5 airbrushes because of your recommendations. I've purchased the Creos PS-289, The NEDECO, the Gaahleri GHAD-39 and now these bad boys.
That was a great review on these new airbrushes, itvwould have cost a lot more to include the extra neddle in both brushes, but I assume they did not do it for a reason, hope you have a great New Year, very bedt regards to you and your family for 2024 from a Kiwi living in Australia
really enjoy your videos keep up the great work and how is the Misses doing hope she is ok i have been praing for her
The tangent effect reduces turbulence. I ran a Quantum Scientific Flow Lab 1400 flow bench for 15 years. And understand airflow explicitly. It's all about lamanent airflow.
I got one last time they went on sale for $30, seems comparable to the iawata neo imo. The Gaahleri is preferable due to the neo being finicky when cleaning. I got the 2024 Ultra from H&S though and that is my go to now.
ive been looking for an airbrush to begin with i liked that 3.0 and ordered it looks like something that will cover bigger pieces or terrain for my mini games
Looks like a nice airbrush series! The stylized machining is indeed nice. I do think they should have included a crown cap on the 0.2 version though.
It has one
Love the videos. Keep em coming
I will 👍
I wonder what the supreme version will be... 😊
The thing about these airbrushes is how they last not how well they work out the box, they all work mostly. I may have to look at one at this price - just to see if things have gotten better than when I last tried "cheap" airbrushes. Thanks for all your hard work, all appreciated.
Look at these airbrushes like Genesis automobiles. Yes the Genesis is a Hyundai but it's way beyond that, it's a super high quality car that cost $60K but is equal to a car that cost $80K to $100K. So even though this is a Chinese airbrush company,, their mission is to produce airbrushes that can match the top names in the industry
I’ve never been really impressed with air brushes before. They all just seem to function more or less the same. But these 2 actually impressed me. I think in need a 0.3 now
That 0.2 is sweet. I’ll be picking one up. Thanks, Robert
Should do a video of the best UV reactive airbrush acrylic paints...😊
Purchased the Mobius .2 and the your swallowtail today.
Awesome airbrushes these look like great additions to the range
For sure
just got my Mobius 0.3 today 💪🏽 very first airbrush. sounds like i picked a winner
how's it? I just saw some negative reviews of it. they said the airbrush cannot be used for a long time
Another great review, thanks.
I do have a question about these though. Are they able to use multiple needle sizes like some of the others you have reviewed, or are they set up for just the one?
If that's the case I can likely do everything I would need with the 3. Just curious really.
Have a good day and keep up the great work.
Gaahleri themselves have already been asked this question and their answer is: No, they do not recommend swapping needles/nozzles with each other, both airbrushes are specifically designed for their own needle/nozzle size.
Personally, I see this as a major disadvantage - but admittedly it is a very clever marketing move.
Not interchangeable so if purchasing one of them I would buy the 0.3mm
Great working airbrushes
They really are
It's a great looking airbrush
Great new design will eventually be a landmark in the industry of airbrushing. Outperforming Iwata in price and reliability.
Looks like a nice set of brushes.
Gaahleri, for your next trick, I need you guys to clone the linear L10 compressor please and sell it at half off tyvm.
The airbrushes look good. And the Gaahleri company really stands behind their products! I had an issue and they solved it quickly! A great company with something rare out here, customer service!!
Thanks for another great video, Robert. Questions: 1) Are we supposed to always flush distilled water through an airbrush after cleaning with acetone? (I thought acetone left to dry inside an airbrush can ruin most o-rings). 2) Are Gaahleri's paint cups interchangeable (i.e. does the larger cup for the 0.3 brush fit the threads on the 0.2 brush, etc.)? Ha, you must've broken their website with this video, Robert, as they are now "experiencing technical difficulties" with their ordering website.
Flush rubbing alcohol thru the airbrush right after passing acetone thru it. That clears out the acetone thus stopping it from doing damage
Looks like a great product.
You’ve done an outstanding job reviewing Gaahleri products as they release and you can tell the company pays attention to customer feedback.
Does the trigger feel any different as it looks a bit different?
Well I can adjust the tension on them so that in itself fells different
Seems like a good product!
Hey Reax maybe they have created a narrow passage making a ventury effect. Thus speeding up the air and paint, that's my theory.
Good morning Robert Great channel I’m hooked
So here comes the question you have probably been asked on every new airbrush gun
I’m new to this hobby and have been contemplating which gun to buy?and what different sizes I would need?
I plan on building and painting plastic model cars trucks and semi trucks and go from there
In you honest opinion what gun or guns should I begin with? I’m ok with spending money on good quality easy to use guns I’ve heard great reviews on
Iwata-Medea Eclipse HP CS Dual Action Airbrush Gun /
GSI CREOS
Any recommendations you make will be much appreciated thank you
Go with the Swallowtail, because it comes with 3 needle sizes and is great for a variety of projects and sizes
any word if they will do a 0.15mm needle? These are looking great already!
Good luck everyone
Great video as always. Man, that .2 can lay down chrome. Wow. I paint mostly helmets for cosplay though, so I'm not sure if a .2 is too small? I was leaning more towards the swallowtail (when the come back in stock) since they have bigger needle and nozzle combos. What do you think? Thanks for sharing.
For what you're doing go with the Swallowtail
@barbatosrex9473 thank you, sir 👍🏼
I think I am going to pull the trigger on the .3mm! (pun intended) Thanks for the review!
Nice looking guns
Going to get the .2
