- i've got something different for you this week. i talk a lot about disc golf these days, but maybe some of you don't know what that is. so i decided to take my camera with me and film half of one of my rounds. it is in a beautiful wooded nature preserve, trees, birdsong, and dappled sunlit paths everywhere. i hope you'll come walk along with me as i chase my discs through the woods. let's get throwing!

I'm glad you did share Anne, I really enjoyed it. I get the bit about being on camera. It wasn't until about my 40th video that I showed myself, except for the Trig face and wrap up. I didn't understand why anyone would want to see me instead of the views, but I bowed to pressure. For me, it is always a pleasure to see you in a video. Thanks again for sharing.

I played golf for many years, but I have never tried this sport. It's very much like traditional golf. I enjoyed the woods and the scenery. Think I would be horrible at this game Especially with all those trees on this course. I'm thinking this course is for experts. The courses in my city are like in really open grass areas. you are quite good at it, though. Nice job filming it and giving us an awesome virtual experience..

I've seen this sports last year at @naturedogrealms video. Here in our region, i havent seen anyone playing disc golf( only mini golf). We're playing boule or its called petange in French.

I’m so happy to have come along with you as you showed this game. I heard a Robin, an American Gold finch, and a chickadee (probably). Beautiful day. Beautiful woods. How do you decide which disc to throw? The Wigwam was amazing.
thank you jeanne! and awesome on the bird calls! 🥳 there are different "speeds" for the discs. thinner ones are considered drivers and if used properly fly the farthest. none of these holes really need those, but some courses have holes that are more than 1000 ft/3000m. the putters are thicker, more accurate shorter shots. and, well, people with a lot more skill than i have will pick out specific discs for specific shot shapes. there's so much to learn about it as i go! 🛴❤
‘Let’s get throwing!’ Never heard of disc golf we have foot golf 🤷🏻♀️ lovely course though with natural wooded sounds, love the bird song! Hey there you are, my word you chucked that disc like you meant it we thought you were going to throw it like a frisby 😂 disc hitting chains is cool! Love there is space between each one to hike and enjoy your surroundings! You throw it however you want to Anne or feel comfy doing so! 😂 love you lost your disc from that backhand! Great shot lots of Bogeys 🤧🤢😂 can’t identify the birds but they sound beautiful! Love you have all the Chicago gear when playing in Michigan! Great there is a seat at each one especially with you carrying that tripod 😂 Hole 9 and that tippee is cool does make a great club house like Dave says from Travelling Tramps! This was very different but we loved it! Off to google where in the uk does disc golf! No Birdie today (womp womp) 😂❤

Disc Golf looks cool but I have never played
you should try it out! just read germany is the 7th best country for disc golf. 202 courses there according to udisc! let me know if you do. cheers, daisy! 🛴❤️

thank you fran! i carry around 10-12 discs, but mainly use 6 of them. it is definitely challenging to see the baskets in the trees and the camera view makes it even harder. hope you have a great weekend! 🛴❤️
