I saw Midnight Oil for the 13th time at RAC Arena (Perth) on Sunday 25th September. Their last appearance in Perth. I am so lucky at the age of 52 that I have been addicted to this band from the age of 17.
Sounds like a modern Red sails in the sunset. Brilliant. I am a total Black Metal person, but I can't wait to see the oils next month. They are constantly good.
At 3.12 my brother Jason is shown in Resist clip at the Great Barrier Reef benefit gig at the Tank in 2017. I was so happy to see him in this clip as he had gotten me into the Oils. 30 plus years later and over 150 shows. Love this clip and song by Midnight Oil. The most powerful song in the World today....well done once again boys we love ya all including big Bones. A Song that lives forever....

Strange feeling that I can't go to any shows on this fairwell tour. I chose bodily autonomy yet the Oils decided they'd play Sun City after all. To this very day the lyrics mean more to me than being a middle aged man reminiscing and trying to imitate Peter in the aisles. There is no stepping around this fellow Oils fans.
