      The Jamaican state is protecting their track runners during the off-season by any means.
      They get juiced up in the middle of the island. Where they're hard to be found. To build up new muscles mass, which lasts to the start of the season, when they're long clean again.
      Hair samples are also hard to take, if you sport a 2mm cut.
      They also have the necessary means to get hold of the newest "stuff" out there. Which isn't even detectable yet.
      Medicine is always faster than the NADA (global anti-doping agency?!
      We already have "enhanced" Olympic games. The regular ones...
      Do you remember how long it took to find a test that showed if the EPO is artificial or your natural one?!
      Today the "evil Russians" have to take the blame for everything. Because it fits the Western (most influential sports nations) narrative of today and "the games must go on!

    there is a reason doping is illegal. It is unhealthy and dangerous and when made legal it will spiral down to keep taking more because an other athlete is out perfoming you, because he is taking more doping (or you think so). Forcing you to also take more if you want to keep performing at the top (in other words keep your job)

    • @FernandoGonzalez-hq9ei
      @FernandoGonzalez-hq9ei 6 місяців тому +3

      Just because it's a ped doesn't mean it's unhealthy. When you're sick for any number of reasons a doctor will prescribe a steroid to help you recover. If used wisely it can help athletes heal more successfully after an injury and even prevent some injuries from happening. anything can be abused but if they tunes in on a formula that actually helps your body perform to it's full potential it could be a good thing. They ban aspirin and caffeine in some sports testing for so many things can be just as detrimental as abusing peds

      @kristofsportingdogs3549 6 місяців тому +2

      @@FernandoGonzalez-hq9ei and when you have cancer, they give you chemo 🤷‍♂️.
      And the fact that a doctor has to give you a prescription and that they are not just freely available without it, does give you a clear sign they are not harmless
      Medication can cure you when you’re sick, doesn’t mean they are healthy or harmless to use all the time, even when you’re not sick.
      Most medications have side effects, certainly in longtime continuous use.

      Tech always has risks
      Our biology, even when getting extremely lucky on the gene lottery, can only take us so far
      Yeah, people are going to screw up their bodies, but they already do. The enhanced games is an opportunity to really test human limits
      Increasing our understanding about how multiple drugs will work together will help in MANY different areas, from new treatments and protocols to literally helping to make the next generation of space explorers, because whoever walks first on Mars will really need a full cocktail into their system at all times to manage everything from radiation to less gravity
      The future is uncertain, and knowing which tools can make our descendants reach higher places is perhaps essential even to our survival as a species

    • @rishaadkhan1238
      @rishaadkhan1238 2 місяці тому

      PEDS don't work that way. More doesn't mean better. Even in bodybuilding, more can mean worse side effects and less gains. In the context of athletics, taking more would be counterintuitive because taking more means you'll be heavier and weighed down and your cardio output would be tanked because of the water retention and high blood pressure. Doses of any PEDs would have to be carefully fine tuned and balanced when used for high performance athletics. This isn't bodybuilding where all thats required is to grow as much muscle as possible.

    • @kristofsportingdogs3549
      @kristofsportingdogs3549 2 місяці тому

      @@rishaadkhan1238 Maybe not everyone, but a lot will use more cocktails and mix up all sorts of substances and experiment anyway, from steroids and hormones for muscles to stuff like epo for endurance. And it will spiral out of control.
      It did in cycling a few decades ago, in the late '80, begin '90. epo was basically untraceable for anti-doping agents. Resulting that almost all cyclist used it. EPO use is a suspect in nearly 20 deaths in 4 years in European cyclists from that period.

    How low have we fallen, the olympics should be about how good a human can actually run, not how much drugs they can put in their body.

    • @-_-DatDude
      @-_-DatDude 5 місяців тому +1

      There has never been a parity of human accomplished when it comes to the olympics or sports. It has always been about the evolution of technolgy and sports science in sports.
      Usain Bolt who is the GOAT of sprinting had the luxury of running with synthetic cleats on a synthetic track that gave him extra bounce. Runners in the early years like Jesse Owens ran on cinders which absorbed kinetic energy, had heavier less dynamic cleats and didn't have a starting block.
      Football which is the biggest sport in the world. The 2 GOATs being Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo wouldn't have a career without medical/scientific intervention. Messi needed HGH treatment and Ronaldo needed a surgery for his Tachycardia that was invented in 1981.
      Both Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo also benefited from perfect pitches, synthetic jerseys, synthetic boots and synthetic footballs compared to the rugged pitches, heavier cotton Jersey, leather boots and leather balls that footballers in the past used.

    • @p0k3mn1

      how many drugs we can put in our bodys IS how good a human can actually run. This is the TRUE human limit this is what sports is about, and if you dont wanna watch that you dont like sports you just like competition and theres a difference.

      It sounds like a White man, claiming to have beaten the 9.55 in Berlin!
      This would mean he has access to reeeally good drugs.
      It's the physic of Caribbean Islanders giving then them the necessary advantage about the rest of the field (White men don't even compete in the final race for the gold medal).
      Just like the V-shape upper body of many White men (the ones, like Chad le Clos, from South Africa are also White) give them an advantage at swimming.
      Or the East Africans from Kenia or Ethiopia at marathons. Even though they don't have the modern training conditions, like in richer/developed countries.
      Or the precision of South East Asians at disciplines like (bow/pistol 10m) shooting.
      Back to the topic: I really want to see how a White guy beats Bolt. Not out of racist reasons, like I tried to make clear. But to see the power of modern drugs!
      Bolt couldn't stand the food at the Olympics at China 2008. So he ate 40 Chicken McNuggets from McDonald's before his 100m gold medal race.
      But I don't think that Bolt is a completely "clean" athlete either. Who knows what went on during the off-season, in the middle of Jamaica.
      The state definitely protects him by all means possible. Since he's a "national treasure"...
