The rest of the episode doesn't matter. If anybody needs me, I'll be off in this corner over here sulking.
Armstrong totally missed the opportunity for a "Kill Them" joke...
I was expecting Armstrong to say "kill them" at the end. So disappointed.
Or "I bit him on the nose"
I've got so used to John-Jules with an accent on Death in Paradise that watching this seems weird.

I can’t remember the time of night this was shown. After 9 the he could have said what you said by ending it with “ gonna sue you an all that shit!”
I know Danny is famous for his outfits, but almost a dozen comedians on the same stage and not one pointed out that he looked like a jockey...
Poor Ben, he did better when he was a contestant on "How many hats?", which I feel is a far superior gameshow.
That was obviously scripted. There's no way he was that good.

Alexander puts on a brave face, but never quite manages to completely disguise how hurt he is by the Ben Millar jokes.
I agree. There might be some point in a long-running joke if the original joke was sufficiently witty. But it’s boring, repetitive and unkind. It’s caused me to take a very dim view of R. Osman.

I think Danny John-Jules has been on a few times, and I don't think he has ever gotten past the first round.
Ben Miller is leaving Death in Paradise, a programme which is a ratings winner and exported around the globe.
He was filming in an exotic location in the Caribbean with the gorgeous Sara Martins.
Ben Miller's lost his marbles.
He said it interfered with his family life with his wife and children and they didn't want to come over to the Caribbean so he had to leave.
I just have to say, the first Bond theme that came to my mind was "All Time High", but then I always liked that one...

I couldn't remember that song so I paused this video to listen to it. I've forgotten it again already.
I expect Alexander watched them walking out and thought "My dear Watson".....

Right...I am not a real Bond fan, I'm afraid, but... Wasn't three blind mice the opening theme tune to Dr. No? It didn't get mentioned so maybe that is a false memory on my part. As a kid, I remember the tarantula crawling up Bond's bed to this tune. Please, someone can put me right.

It absolutely was. But it’s probably the most famous one. Given it’s a Paul McCartney song covered by guns n roses.
They showed the top three and it wasn't. I was very surprised by this as it's a cracking song!

That's a good question, I'm not the biggest James Bond nerd and thought of Gold Finger straight away
...because the entire point of the show (which is called "pointless" for a reason) is to give an answer that the majority of people would *not* give. Goldfinger is the answer that *everyone* would give and therefore the worst answer possible.

My first thought was From Russia with Love. What was the song for Dr No? There was also one Have no Fear Bond is Here I think by Herb Alpert and Tijuana Brass but I'n not sure. I think it was on the first Casino Royale film.

Alexander's script hasn't changed a bit in eight years, but what about Richard's hair? Looks like the old plastic Beatles wig you could buy in the sixties. How long did that take in make-up? At least today it's only a can of hairspray a day, in those days it was full-on boot polish.

I would have gone for the bond films that were so awful no one remembers them so, another way to die was from the atrocity that was quantum of solace but then Ed did remember that one, other one would be die another day

It's very well known, so it would have scored a heap.
That's what I expected, but apparently it wasn't in the top three. Skyfall was third and it received only 39. Moreover, the other Pierce Brosnan era songs had low scores even though they were both named after their movie.
Wanted to answer "For your eyes only". Thought for sure that would be a pointless one.
The problem with the Title-named Bond Themes is the fact they are named after the title. Many wouldnt know the name of all the songs, but could guess at the names of the films.
I was shocked that From Russia With Love wasn't named because if you were going to go with obscure bond songs, that would be it. It is often dwarfed by the theme from Dr. No and Goldfinger that many forget the second film altogether.

I think celebrity versions of game shows are the worst simply because the celebrities don't behave. They talk over each other and the host, thinking they're being funny. And they usually come across as a bit dim

My idea for comic relief would be to write and ask celebrities how much they would pay not to appear on this excruciatingly embarrassing show, then give all that to charity and save all that time and shameful ness
