Reading aloud is a very different skill set than writing, and usually I find it super cringey when an authour is asked to read a bit of their new book - but Ben's performance skills shine through, and made that perhaps the best "authour reads a book" experience I've ever had. :)
Thank you so much for this it's like bathing in a nice warm bath of feel good,I live in Ukraine and spend most of the time war monitoring and its grisly, grim and bloody what a treat to switch off for a bit.
One of my favorite comedic moments in the history of television, when Rob and Ben made out on QI, because they kinda looked and dressed like each other and they got aroused. So yes, I vote for that Rob & Ben series.
I have to say, that whenever Rob and Ben are with eachother, there's such great rapport, that it's any wonder why we haven't seen them work together on something for TV?? I'd love to see that, wouldn't you??
Armstrong and Miller is one of the greatest British comedy duo sketch shows ever (along with A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Reeves and Mortimer and Mitchell and Webb). Being Australian (I knooooow, it’s a definite disadvantage in this context), I’ve had to discover most of these comedic gems post-facto via UA-cam, but the A&M cavemen sketches have entered the vernacular of my social circle, especially “Is shit mammoth” (first art critic) and “cheeky” (from the invention of alcohol). We also frequently channel the WWII pilots: “Isn’t it?” “Isn’t it though?” “Standard”. 😂😂😂😂😂 (P.S. Ben’s Alan Bennett was much better than Rob’s!)
It really would be nice if Rob could let his guests talk once in a while. The potential for a really great conversation with really interesting guests always comes second to self aggrandizement.
Sounds like Ben Miller was not liked on the set of death in paradise and didn't care. If everyone didn't like him it's not a good sign as to what kind of person he might be. Hmmm
Like it when Rob lets his guests talk. This one felt like The Rob Brydon Extravaganza, with some poor sod trying to get a word in occasionally.

He played the PG Tips monkey, what a legend
Loved Rob & 'Lord' Coogan in 'The Trip'. I'd love to see Rob & Ben in a series

Hope you and yours are alright over there.
The world can be horrendous
Take care 🫡
Need an episode with Rob, Anton Du Beke and Ben Miller
"The Triplets" 😄
And the monkey from PG Tips
A rare UA-cam video that I watch without a pause. Fab interview
When Gary Farmer met Ben Miller and Tom Baker, there was a huge party. They earned a lot of bread.
Parole officer, best line in film... "It's get Kirsty in!" (It's Kirsty, Get in!). Love the crew dancing at the end.
I love it when Rob says: "one of those laptop computers" 😂
Does Rob ever do one of these without mentioning Elvis, I wonder? ;-)

Ben is hilarious
Rob, Ben, Alexander...the triumvirate of comedians 🙌
Really!!!!

Definitely one of Rob s funniest interviews.
We miss you. ❤ from Amsterdam.
love Richard Poole 😍🥰💙
Bloody marvellous ♥️
Rob, please have Alexander Armstrong next ❤️🙏
Pleasee....
I know I'm being pedantic, but thanks for correcting Ben on the series/season thing.
Rob's Ian McKellen needs work, but I always enjoy his Alan Bennett
Bonkers! I loved it
Still not convinced that Rob and Ben were not twins separated at birth
😮 His science book is good
One of thes best episodes soooo funny
Brilliant
I can't believe Rob got Omar Sharif!
Love "The Worst Week of My Life". Not a lot on the BBC that makes me laugh now.
It´s the PERFECT comedy!!!
Death In Paradise was a wonderful winter escape .. until Ben left. Does he raise all of Xander's children?
TOTALLY agree with you! DiP is only Ben Miller. It´s the truth!
@@cloe1704I didn't like Richard at all.
Is no-one going to mention the fact that one of the cameras was out of focus? So weird.
Some call him "Lord Coogan". I prefer "The Coog".
Rob dismisses Ben with such casual brutality. The new Grand Moff Tarkin emanates from SW London.
Oh no, no mention of The Boss, standards slipping. Just kidding, what an awesome episode...
This is kind of a mind F for me because for years I was convinced these two were the same person. LIKE YEARS
Is Ben Millers the one on the left?
Ben is the one in beige pants.
Something pleasing about the fact that you still needed to edit this... 😂
Ashley Jensen is the most beautiful woman in the world.
Ben doing his best, Lars from Metallica impression
6:17 So that's why he'd bleached his hair in that :)
11 seconds ago! What a fresh upload
Im from Gloucestershire... Middle earth 😂
Who could know them apart?
Respect to Pizza Express - why should they cancel a booking to let him in?
Very pleasant that, ooh yes. 😊
Rob Brydon always ceases to make me laugh so hard it hurts.
Need them to kiss like on QI

Boo snobbleritz gollibble guzzle? Neep kalopg nort, spalg spalg alungeroof!!! 😢😮🤪🙃
You talk nonsense. This is very balanced. It's not an interview, but a casual chat.
They've found skeletons of giants????
So I take it Ben had to leave Death in Paradise because Xander needed a break?
Bit weird
