Some characters have unique reload animations (Nøkk with a Deagle, Warden's weapons, etc.)
Nøkk's deagle reload is probably one of the worst reloads in the game.

Rainbow Six Siege animations are like a used car. They'll get you there, but not everything works as well as it should.
exactly, because most of these animations are 5 years old and have never been updated, so they are basicaly an old car. I saw on steam discussions below rainbow six siege a very agressive post named ,,Message to you lazy devs" which kinda had a good point. I would love to see some reload animations rework in this game

The unique thing about this ge is that it has +1 chamber, so whenever you reload mid mag you have an extra bullet in the gun giving an advantage to weapons with low capacities. Cod has never had this feature and I'm happy to see that this game has it
Why I feel that every guns have invisible suppressor on them? The guns sounds are like suppressed gun's sound.
Because he is standing outside, indoor gun sounds are loud af, i only put 60-70% volume while playing this.

The animations in the game are fairly good from a subjective point of view. I always liked how you could see the dropped mags when reloading your weapons on empty. Not many FPSs bother to implement this feature.
Sounds are over all good, but I believe computer generated, as there not as punchy as the real life counterparts, but they still did a good job with there sound design even though I know others would say otherwise, but how about this for food for thought, is it as bad as Call of dutys WW2 sound design?
I suppose it’s worth noting as well that I’ve always thought RB6S was an interesting game as they were trying to make it a tactical like FPS game, but the one thing that always stood out to me and why I personally believe it’s not, is the Arcady feels of the guns, they have little to no recoil, and if they do, they are very simplistic patterns like straight vertical up. I still think it’s a cool game though and I’d love to play it more, just unfortunately the playerbase is very toxic and that’s the main reason why I stopped playing it, everybody thought they were an expert when it came to how to play.

You are on console. Pc recoil is different. Some guns have very high recoil on pc
When I first played this game back towards the end of year 2 I thought it had some of the best looking and sounding guns and in a way it did back then
But now it seems way out of date, inaccurate as hell for bullshit balancing reason and now when I play the game I just gringe in how much they changed this game it's not even comparable to what it was anymore

@@danko0911 In that case, yeah. You can see scratches all over some guns, but that's normal. Just because they're Elite soldiers doesn't mean they replace their weapons after every mission
Also all of the multiplayer/online games we did is training not actual fight. The real fight is in the terrorist hunt, that could explain why the guns aren't so well condition because they're literally dummy weapons
Sounds are fine but it sounds weak. Models are good and and I like the reloads.
And besides, it looks like a mobile game.
All of the guns seem to have a white outline around them. Idk why it just makes the gun look so bright.

@@ModyPhantom Nah. The guns looking and performing similar to their real counterpart is much more important than any licensed name. It's still better using the real names though.

Animation quality is alright. Not bad, but not good as well. Reloads are decently accurate in terms of depiction. (Although it is probably better to use the bolt-catch on some rifles and SMGs. The bolt should ideally be charged before the ammo-box change in MGs as well)
The echo is too loud when compared with the actual gun sound. Makes the guns almost sound muffled. Audio fidelity can also use some work.
The graphics did not age well though.
he is in like the worst spot to showcase lighting and graphics. play the game and it'll look so much better inside the actual building. where he is standing right now is the very edge of a map that isn't supposed to be looked at too much
He choose a poor spot for the showcase, interiors look much better and less hastily designed. Also the guns only have echo outdoors, they sound different inside.

been trying to play this game but...
1. Although I have read that new players should start off with Terrorist Hunt, I've noticed that at least on every "match", there's one who rushes through everything. Therefore, not giving me a chance to properly experience the game/learn from my mistakes
2. with so many Operators and their unique gadgets, I "fear" that this game is even more harsh on less experienced players, who aren't as familiar with this game. (or rather, the maps AND said gadgets) Like, first time, suddenly getting 1-shot from above, the 2nd time being the same, but coming from either wall instead. or the 3rd being what'd make it look like the opponent's Wallhacking.
3. Considering that this is one of those AAA games, I'd suspect that it's more likely to have toxic players. 'specially those where their "criticism" are more likely to be true. in this case, that I'd be seen as a noob (or) liability, due to lack of experience.
(I can only hope that it's true that this game is harder to get into, since all these gadgets makes this game far more unpredictable, compared to most FPS)
The animators really need to work on their keyframing. There's a lot of "snapping" once the reload is done.

Its not a smg, its a battle rifle that using the same chassis and feed system of the vector but have a longer barrel and using different ammo, its not exist in the real life btw.

The V308 isn’t really much of an SMG. Yes it takes after the Kriss Vector a lot in its appearances but it’s the length of an rifle and it’s shooting 308 / 7.62. The same maybe a unique category at best but I wouldn’t call it an SMG. Same goes for AR-15 pistols that are starting to get more popular nowadays. Fits more of the category of a carbine with a drum mag😂

It used to look a lot better, back when the game was a tactical game about playing as elite operators and not a hero shooter where the characters are realistic looking overwatch knockoffs.
EDIT: Ironically, as I've just remembered, there was a mobile game last year that was a literal siege knock-off in every conceivable way, and was forcibly shut down when Ubisoft went after them.

Why the fuck would Siege have more snipers? Every objective is inside a building with close quarters combat, ACOG scopes on assault rifles aren't even ideal in some cases.

I just realized how when you aim, the operator gains the ability to have full control and stabilization over the recoil on the gun.
Just look at what happens when you shoot the D-50 1:23
The recoil is the same, if you notice, when you aim, they remove the gun recoil animation, and the camera movement remain the same.

Animations are okay- mediocre, but I can give Ubi the excuse and benefit of doubt as Siege is to be a "competitive" shooter so everything is kept simple to streamline the clean feel of the game.
Even if it's damn ugly in every way. Then again, this game came out in 2015- which doesn't say much since other games during that year looked and played better than Siege- Ubi just kinda has a sucky engine.

@@ghastly8192 when animating you should try to emphasize the moments when the animations are the most extreme . That could be removing a magazine,putting in a new one or pushing the bolt release . In siege you never really see a difference from the extreme parts of the animations and the normal so the animations just look really choppy and boring. Another thing being the techniques that the operators use. Not using the bolt catch on ar’s and not reloading weapons like the l85 correctly isn’t representative of how well trained they are.
I think r6 has more weapons than in all the other games

In my opinion these graphics look a bit too cartoony. Granted, they’re not horrible, but if they had the sound and looks like Modern Warfare, or something like that, then the game really would be a realism FPS. I know the Game devs are trying to go for realism with rainbow 6, so image how cool it would be if this game was on modern warfare’s engine.
