Gotta love the attention to sound details. You can even hear the sound of the magazine being picked from the vest or pocket
Honestly some of the best/ most unique semi auto sounds ive heard. Small details make a difference.

I loved Vegas 2. So many hours during highschool were spent playing this until it eventually died down.
Famas and C4 are still perma banned and if you did the spawn kill glitch on villa you got kicked. Good times.

The only Rainbow I played was Siege but old school games were a lot more harder until Vegas.
@@CrossOfBayonne vegas 1 and 2 were still pretty challenging. Enemies could very easily take you out with a well placed shot or burst even with the best armor
21E has by far one of the coolest reloads. I used that gun so much in R6V2 just for that reason.
I still play this game to this day from time to time. A true timeless classic

@@emtcantaluope1367 It's a zombie survival game. The Rainbow Six series we all knew and loved died with Seige. It's basically military Overwatch, and now they're pulling a fucking Metal Gear Survive.
This is my favorite tactical game
I'm working on a sound mod for a tactical, almost Tarkov-style mod for Doom 2, and I'm going to definitely be using some of these sounds because they are just so damn good. Thankfully I bought this game new on Steam way back in the day, so now I just gotta figure out how to rip the sounds from the game files and I'll be good to go.
I have this game in the list of my xbox one, time to Download. Looks great.

This game had lots of good guns.
Including my favorites, the Walther P99, Desert Eagle, Mossberg 500 aka 500 Tactical, and the MAC 11
I like how they "went outside the box" with a lot of guns too, instead of fully reusing a bunch of extremely generic and popular weapons

The weapon sounds (inside, outside, fire modes, reloads) of Vegas and Vegas 2 set a benchmark that I’ve never seen topped.

MK.23 is the best gun to use in stealth missions in the campaign like "Negotiations" and "Convention Center".
Overall, best pistol.
I recommend the following loadout:
AKS-74u (Reflex/ACOG scope)
SR-25 SD (6x,12x scope)
MK.23/92FS/USP40 (High- capacity magazine)
Keep in mind that all these guns can come with suppressors. For armor, keep a balance between Mobility and Protection. It should look like:

You can go pretty fast and take a few hits in blind fire.

I love how the revolver's empty reload has you spin the cylinder before shutting it, just to arbitrarily lengthen the reload time for balancing reasons 😂
Man I just recame back to this it still looks like a great game it aged well there is a few things that I don't like but most aged fine
Of all weapons used in this game,the G3KA4 is the only weapon I always used and never changed
dude i always use the type 05 and either the mg36 or the scar cqc. best loadout imo. i do use the G3 sometimes but the type 05 is what ill always roll with
Ikr, I use G3 with silencer & with semi mode on
Mg36 by far feels like the best weapon in the game, it's only real downside is that you can't use a silencer with it.
G3 is just so satisfying to use. The Iron Sights are very clear and easy to aim with aswell. I usually rocked it with extended mags and nothing else

The FNC is by far the best Assault Rifle. 2 shots anywhere brought your target down every time.

this is by far one of my top 20 ps3 games list it was fun as fuck this game had one issue with and that was the online i found it iffy at best i stuck to single player or terrorist hunt

Furry Favkis Nexerade Ubisoft couldn't use Colt weapons for a long time. That's why the 1911 in FC3 and 4 was a Kimber.

This game is set in the very near future (the game itself released in 2008, but in the game's universe it is set in 2010). So in Vegas 2's timeline the XM8 replaced the M4. That's why in the game it's referred to as just the "M8" because it stopped being an experimental weapon and started being put into full service.
In real life the XM8 was supposed to replace the M4 around the early 2010s, but it never actually worked out in reality and the XM8 program got scrapped by the US military.
This game also features the M468 rifle, which was intended to be a future upgrade to the M4 for special forces use. The M468 was chambered in a bigger round than the M4, so it had better ballistics. In the game's universe this gun was put into standard production by 2010 and was commonly used by special forces like the Rainbow Six Counter Terrorist Unit. In reality it saw very limited use and then put out of production by the actual year of 2010

Great game ! ...even if it doesn't measure up to the weapon handling of Global Operations (barking dog studios)... safety, selector switch... its a great game and it just needed more maps, firearms 😃, gamemodes, more multiplayer support and mods... mod support.. maybe... Great game!👍🏻 a real Rainbow Six... that Siege is not 😆

I still don't understand different between rainbow six vegas and vegas 2. They look same.
Pretty much they reused the same assets, probably improved some textures, added a couple of guns more and that's all. Probably, they even reused sound effects from R6: Lockdown for R6V1.

Vegas 1 has better graphics but bad experience. Vegas 2 has decent graphics with good experience.
