Sorry for reupload. UA-cam has some problem with 720p resolution, so I render video again in 1080p.
great model again
Every time I watch one of your uploads I'm amazed. Brilliant!
Thank you
I'm thinking about downloading all of your videos and watching them one after the other. it's a pleasure to have a gifted artist like you giving us a free lessons, thank you so much for that!
The model, the music, the video, everything's perfect!
Nice to hear from you.
Trying to paint the freehand camo would drive me up the wall but you've obviously mastered the art, well done.
it´s always a pleasure watching you work.
My eyes are getting bigger, when i look at your models!!!!!!!!! Wow!
This is an incredible display of artistry and craftsmanship. I am really impressed. I recently purchased Revell's 1/32 offering of the Me 262 b-1a/u1 and would like to model it with the amount of details and creativity as you have done with the 1/48 scale offering. Thank you for sharing, I will continue to watch and learn !
Not a modeller, just enjoying to see you make those masterpieces. Think you can make a good living out of it if you choose that. Txs for sharing it with us.
Hi David, I really enjoyed your videos and I learn a lot from watching them. I would love to see more pictures/video of the finished model.
Speechless . Must be the most amazing build I've yet to see on UA-cam.
do not overdo. Thanks
just noticed your channel. .. the build, video and music put together well, holds interest. I'm now your newest subscriber.
Thank you
amazing painting work like all the times..very nice build ....waiting day by day for next video....
Thank you. I hope that next week will be a new video.
It's amazing how much detail and time you put into these models! Keep up the great work, love your videos!
Such a great aircraft great engineering. Love the modeling and color patterns.
ok
Keep on doing these build rewiews, people love them.
I love them too.
Excellent work David. Made my Sunday evening.
same for me as well.
Great work on the painting. Very nice detail on the engines and wheels!
The engine will be a separate video. How to paint jet engine or something like that.
Hobby Boss?! Never thought they would offer so much detail in their kits. I'll have to pick up one of their P-47 kits. Excellent work from start to finish, beautiful set of landing gear, fantastic paint work, shading and wash. I picked up a couple of tips watching your vid, thanks. Again excellent 262, CONGRATS!
Thank you but it is not finished yet. I will do two sequels
Sorry, my mistake I thought you had hung everything and were going for the MOH look. In that case, can't wait too see the final product.
A professional work! It's a real pleasure to see your videos .... thanks!
You deserve so much more than 31,449 subs, maybe add a couple zeros on the end as you work is truly art.
Or I can start making gameplays from some PC games. Ok, that is a bad idea.
What can i say, fantastic details and a fantastic paintjob, fantastic plane (jealous!!) :)
David - ignore the rivet counter with 0 uploads and 0 subscribers. Your work is inspirational, and worthy of ANY museum.
Bravo Sir, bravo!
I just do it for you guys. I think my models are not a professional however beginners can found a lot of useful information in my videos. I like making model and create one video take just a few hours.
It is appreciated David :) I know how time-consuming doing the videos are :) Looking forward to seeing you work your magic on your next project !
Are you an artist ? because sir! that is a work of art!
One note: RLM 74 is a very dark green-grey, RLM 76 is the pale blueish grey underside colour, also used as an upperside colour on Luftwaffe nightfighters..... RLM 75 is the medium grey that was also used in the 74/75/76 standard colours. That said, you are doing a very nice job on the kit...
Grete additional information, thank you. I build me-262 red 11 and this machine was destroyed in the end of war. I do not found any pictures of this aircraft, so I combined red 10 and famous red 12.
Late in the war the nightfighter scheme was "adjusted" to provide for better ground concealment during daylight - a light blue grey and mid-grey aeroplane kind of stands out on grass! - so many were given a new camouflage of RLM 81 or 82 & 83 in a dense mottle, often applied directly over the two greys. Red 10 was one such, as was Red 8. While there are few photos of the upper wings, evidence suggests that Red 10 and Red 8 both used standard daytime upper-wing splinter style camouflage (usually 81/82) on the wings and tail-planes, with only the fuselage being mottled. At least one other Me 262B had the whole upper-side mottled. (I've been looking into this for my 1/32 Trumpeter Nightfighter Me262....)
once again...brilliant and inspiring work. thank you
Just amazing work, David! Keep these videos coming ;)
Stunning, simply stunning.
love the model, love the music choice, love your channel! great work and an excellent build
Model+hudba = definice dokonalosti :3
Another tip - In real life the upperside was painted in the Medium grey RLM75 overall, and RLM 76 was then applied in a Spiderweb of varying density over it. (Not RLM76 first then spots of 75 for the mottles. I know- strange but true!)
I saw this on he-216. Was this procedure use in all night camo versions?
The He 219, Ju 88G, Ta154 for sure, others as they developed, - the Ju88C's started with a standard, then patchwork style, then changed to the nightfighter style, for example. (I wish they'd let me post some profile jpgs I have to show you, as well as a couple of really good photos I've found. Try to Google "NASM Heinkel 219 Restoration " images.. there is one clear shot of the upper wing in the images, showing the "scribble-work" used to produce the mottling. This is really a fine example, other "scribble work" could be very much wider, to produce a sparser mottle.
very very nice, the detailwork is superb
Thank you
another great job!
congratulations my friend david!
As I wrote in case of planes You are great builder with high point of detail.
Great work, Im practicing so one day my models could be like yours. But im not sure if I would be able to reach those results , you are an artist.
David, congratulations! Your work are very inspiring!
Can i ask something? How long do you wait for the oil paints?
This time, I let it dry for 5 hours. +-
Hi David!
Great job as allways...I am a great fun of your videos.
One Question please: Why do you thin the oil colours before washing with Tamyia thinner and not White spirit??
I mean Gunze Clear gloss is Acrilic ..oil+X-22 does not affect the underline colour? No potential danger to ruin and peel of the colour as you are wipping off the wash ?
You have to put down a clear layer first and allow it to fully dry before the washes. That protects your paint.
Can you at some point do a B-25 Mitchell? Amazing work as always! This is true art!
Truly outstanding work :) could you kindly tell me the brand of the thin gauge brushes which you are using please? Cheers
I use Tamiya pointed brush small.
Excellent work! What is the black tape you use for masking and scribing in your videos?
I think he just uses normal Electrical tape.
Excellent work David, bravo sir!
Thank you, I appreciate this very much.
Awsome, can´t find words.
He david , after applying the oilwash unto the camoflage scheme , how long do you wait before removing it with a cloth , what is the drying time for the oilwash?
Great work I love it !!!!!!
Thanks for sharing
Love your work man.
beautiful! beautiful! beautiful!
I think austrian is close enough to german to qualify as classical of the nation being built. well done!
my personal mission is to have producers that build models and use classical music to use that of a composer of the nation being built. its just my thing.
all I pictured was the missile deterrent from 2001 a space odyssey in that opening sequence. really cool.
Yes, but it is very difficult get classical music without commercial rights.
Many thanks for another great video.
I thank you for watching.
David why didn't you paint the underside in black? Did you not want to keep to the original a.c.
Awesome work, as Always!! Youre my idol, i try to learn from you often. Im working on a Eduard mk.ix spitfire right now.
Really? That is an honor to me. Eduard mk.ix is a perfect kit good choice.
By the way, gongrats for 30k subs mate!!!
That is absolutely amazing. I still can't believe it. Another main goal is 100 000 and youtube play button. :-D
+PLASMO - plastic models Well, if you are gonna keep going like this you will sure hit 100.000 subs 😉
Outstanding.
No, protože to ještě není ani zdaleka hotové.
+PLASMO - plastic models ok
Hey Plasmo have you seen the latest Eduard ME109 with the Brassie engine upgrades i think you would do a great job of building it up you could also get the Resin propeller set to make it a complete build
Yes, I have it but without the engine.
Are you considering any of the upgrades ?
Eduards is very good at making the upgrades easily compatible with their 1/48 kits
No, I will build it with no upgrades. I have a lot of another model in the list before this bf-109.
Yes, they have very nice details for bf-109 but they are expensive too.
You are truly amazing
Amazing!!! Tnx for your excellent video..
I thought the fuselage and upper wings were RLM 76 Lt blue??
drop tanks don't need to be weathered. they are replaced after each flight if they are dropped
Don't know about that look at original photos most are weathered
It is very nice model.
Great job again David
One word "fantastic" :)
One word "thanks" :-D
Music is so good
Hi David.
Could I ask what the ratio of XF-1 to XF-79 was for the underside, please?
Very Nice!
Hi! How much psi use your compressor when you paint the camo? Its same all time?
Genius.
I would love to get into this hobby but I don't know what I would do with the finished model. It will become a dust collector.
the biggest joy is building the model. i suggest u start with an airfix starter kit. it is cheap and a good waybto test the hobby
awesome
Thats good again :D
you are the best¡¡¡...
May I ask, what oil color do you used in the bottom wash ?
I used white and brown oil paint. Just do not use pure white or black in wash.
Obrigado😉
Sedi to do HB bez problemov?
Najviac ma zaujímajú vztlaky, sloty a výškovka, motor robiť nechcem.
A ten je zrovna tak pěkný. :-(
Wow
Id break everything that’s on that during this build…. Antenna and the Air probe would of been gone 😂
What paint thinner do you use with your oil wash?
Tamiya x-20 enamel
I can't find x-20 anywhere. Could I use x-20a?
No, but you can use thinner for washes from mig production or zippo lighter fluid or white spirit .
Thanks so much!! Is there anything special about the oil paints you are using for the wash?
I use the cheapest oil paints for wash, so there is no limitation.
Where do you get all the models from?
I am from Czech republic and we have a lot of shops and classic shops with model kits, so I buy model there.
do you have an Instagram profile?
No, but I have facebook and google+. facebook.com/DavidDamek42/?fref=ts
FIRST BITCHES
David, always amazed at the work you produce. One question, what is the brand of fine paint brushes you use during your work?
