Bus drivers are in short-supply atm, so likely he'll just keep on doing it.
It's the reason why they are aggressive. They know they are in the wrong but can't be honest with themselves to acknowledge it so they lash out. Alternatively, many are arrogant enough to actually think they are in the right and you are in the wrong therefore getting aggressive with you.
I wish the cammer got his details and reported him. He's in charge of people's safety, and he acts like that. What a professional...

Company will react either of two ways, first will be the PR method of "yes, yes, I'll pass that on" and nothing happens. The second will be a torrent of abuse at the person reporting the incident to management.

Take a second look. I'd be pretty sure the P-plate Tradie might have had a green, going by the car turning in front, and was flashing the Pedestrian who may have been crossing without a walk signal, then the blue car seems to dawdle out like one of those Left Turn Through Red intersections.
Without seeing from the other side of the intersection, we can only surmise who had right of way. And, yeah, I hate having to give the classic Tradie Truck the benefit of the doubt when so many are just f-wits on the road.

@@PiDsPagePrototypesno I don’t think that is true. What I think happened is that trailer is overloaded and not breaked so he cant stop quick enough so he flashes his lights to warn the other car he is a dangerous dick. He probably gets the wobbles as the trailer pushes the car when breaking

Theres a frame at about 4:53, of a ute running a red in front of someone, with the green light clearly in view and the lady in the passengers seat doing a VERY clear :O face and the recording car's dashcam still reading 38kmph while they're about 1m apart, and I feel like that situation needs to made a part of the Aussie Dash Cams collage lmao its perfect, its a whole story in a single frame about a guy running a red and almost getting innocent people hurt because the rules dont apply and he thought he'd just squeeze though, its like dash cams epitomised,
GPS speed estimation has to be calculated over time, so it's a running estimation. It isn't exact to the current moment and it isn't going to be 100% accurate anyways.

If you watch it one frame at a time, the cyclist is drifting to the right. From when we first see him to when the ute hits him, the cyclist had moved at least 500 mm to the right, leaving the ute driver no chance of avoiding an accident.

We did, the police followed it up because our car ended up being a write off due to the crash snapping our tire rod, bending the car chassis and causing an oil leak. The police were pretty lazy about it and ended up not following it up because plates didn’t match and just gave us the report for insurance. Lucky for the dash cam, I’m a p plater so insurance never would’ve believed us since this was the most avoidable thing ever. Definitely buying a dashcam

Being of aware of other drivers/pedestrians is still a personal responsibility even if reasonable accident prevention isn’t a legal responsibility. It’s up to the person whether they want to deal with insurance claims or hitting a jaywalking pedestrian or avoid it all together by paying more attention.
I could very easily imagine that the A pillar blocked the Tesla's view. Also, nobody is constantly maintaining a 360* situational awareness, though some do better than others (and some are truly terrible), so you can't really point at a single event and say "this is due to incompetence". Anyone could make a mistake like that, even the best, if you can even call that a mistake.

Could've waited patiently, till there is a safe gap in traffic becomes available. Instead, turns directly infront of oncoming traffic. It could've been a Nasty Accident if the Red Car was travelling at 70km/h.

Isn't the rule something like "Left turn through Red, when clear." Like the original hook-turn rule for Melbourne intersections with tram lines, "Right Turn, from Left, When Clear", it's the When Clear bit people ignore.

I used to wonder at times, having lived on an expressway for years! How some accident even occur. Also having been a fan of Dash Cam Owners of Australia for a long time, I now see how and why these accidents happen. The selfish, bloody entitled attitude of some you morons, is beyond belief. You think you can do what you want but I’ll tell you, it’s not you who is the clever driver that keeps you safe, you who speed, run red lights, overtake improperly etc, you are being kept safe by the good, unimpaired, safe drivers you literally run into that keep you on the road.
You are selfish and don’t deserve licences…..you think it’s funny to break the law and endanger other road users and pedestrians ? Wait until you are impacted by some smart arse ‘doing his/her own thing’ and you or a relative are hurt or worse, then see how smart you are.
I’d have a special task force of say, ‘police helpers’ to sit day after day, watching these videos and getting as much detail as possible from them, and punish you with ‘special circumstance’ fines and imprisonment. I reckon the good man/woman, general public would love to help the police with this job.

In 1980 I spent 7 months working in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This kind of driving is not new to me. It seems to have definitely been imported. Remember the Middle Eastern taxi driver who drove through red lights then screamed to a halt at a green light? When asked why he stopped at the green light he answered that his cousin could drive through the intersection from the other direction at any moment! It's an old story so don't attack me for being racist.
