Disappointing that we only get to see your kikuyu when it's massively overgrown or being prepared for overseed, then we'll see it through winter looking rye lush, then won't see it again until this time next year
As someone with kikuyu I'd love to see you maintain it through the summer
Thinking of doing the same here in Tassie on my backyard. Reckon it’s fine to seed with kik aswell? Think there’s still 2 months before it will hit dormancy.

When I cut my greens the mower often wants to pull to the left or right on some of them, I thought it was because of the grain but maybe they’re just spongy? Or do the two coincide?

What are you going to do with the area surround the couch and the area between the couch and the rye grass green surround?
That cabbage patch of weeds of you have called it is really unsightly.
Will you fill that area with kikuyu and surround the couch with kikuyu?

I have kikuyu in my buffalo. Initially I did my level best to take it out but my efforts were in vain. Is there any way to kill it without damaging my buffalo?
On a side note down in Melbourne kikuyu stays green all year round and while growth slows it does not go fully dormant. My buffalo stays green but becomes dormant and I think this is how the Kikuyu got a foot in.
What was the liquid you said to kill out the rye grass the Kikuyu after

Currently around 30 for tops but it’s about to dip to low 20’s with nights down near 10 haha

Technically yes, but, mine stays dark green all year round, in 35° summers and 5° winters. Rye is me fav 👌
