Ben Earl has been one of the most exciting young players in England for the past few years. Deployed in the back row, Earl acts as a hybrid between a back and a forward. Surely, he's in Eddie Jones's future plans.

Curry X2, Underhill, Willis, Hill, Earl, Simmonds, Dombrandt, Vunipola.
I'd go with Willis, Curry, Dombrandt for the Autumn. Give Vunipola time to get his form back.
Or maybe start Underhill and have Willis, who can play every backrow position, on the bench.

We need some height in the back row.All these young players are around six one/two.The line out needs a third jumper for either another target or a decoy jumper.

Willis should start. I have no idea how you fit Curry, Underhill, Earl, Hill and Vunipola into the remaining 2 starting slots.

@@happyspanners Curry and Vunipola (when he's on form) are undroppable. Underhill played brilliantly during the world cup so I'd stick with him too. Good to have such fierce competition though, and with the new Autumn 8 nations thing there should be plenty of opportunity for each to make their mark assuming they all make the training squad

To be fair, this league has produced the current England team that has outstanding defensive stats at the moment so it must be doing something right!
