Third place play off is an absolute waste of time. The players are exhausted, the fans aren’t interested and to get players back on the pitch so soon after having their dreams dashed is a lack of respect just so that the RWC can chase some loose change. There’s no need for the match, nobody wants it. It should be decided on points or tries scored during the quarters and semis.
