They all have their network of people are sending directly to them, for all other labels, distribution companys, managers and artists there is an official pitching form that selected and well networked people have. I do music management myself and I'm responsible for over 17millions plays for my DJ's from Düsseldorf

Whenever Jon talks about this he refers to singer/songwriters rather than just singers. So the impression I get is that he sends it to someone who will write the lyrics, write the melody and sing the song.
The rest of the track - chords, drums, percussion, bass, synths, guitar, etc ... an instrumental version of the track ... everything except the main melody. Of course, I don't know, sometimes he might have an idea for a main melody too. But basically he wants someone to write and sing lyrics.
Awesome - thanks for the reply! I tend to struggle to put out more than 1 per month. It takes me ~1-2 weeks to get that "spark" and another 1-2 weeks to complete a track. Then I let it sit for a while, add a few things here and there, etc. before deciding to finish. Do you have a video that highlights what I should actually be doing when I "release" a track? I can put it on all the relevant platforms, etc. but what else?

Can you do a video on how to get a song on youtube curated channel like Trap Nation? I tried with my last song and didn't get it on any...but I've heard its best to have a connection at the channel.
I used to make music under the name Doubleyou. I found the founder's (Andre Benz) email and messaged him. He didn't like a few of them but I kept sending them. Soon enough I got on and then found success on other channels. But that was when the channel was first growing and trap music was first budding. You just have to keep an eye out for emerging channels and don't give up.

Dawg, imma give you some advice. First off, throw some drums into your songs. Not one of your tracks has any hi hats, 808, snares, or even any claps 🤦🏻♂️ you need rhythm to not only help you stay in time, but also add bounce to your tracks. Second, you need to learn how to stay in tune. Your all over the place with your flow and cadence and it sounds just off. Third: Your lyrics. You keep saying the n word repeatedly for no reason and it honestly make no sense at all. Atleast talk about a little substance. Now my music isn’t that substance filled and is not lyrical, but I atleast have good flow and cadence and my hooks are catchy. Look up: “PTK Schmidty” and Check me out Apple Music and Spotify if wanna hear my new single and understand what I mean by having rhythms, flow, and a catchy hook. (And ignore my single on my UA-cam channel with 10k views, it’s old and imo trash compared to my newest drops)

russ blew up after like 17 albums lmao, also he got his template down sorta, his tracks are like 4-5 tracks each and then have vocals on them.
i did this for 9 months straight, with not a lot of growth sadly. I love russ so tried that approach. but very hard to accomplish
