Thank you for this video, im glad you talked a lot through everything as it really helped me and answered questions I was asking in my head. Good video!
I wonder if you can replace the wheels with a stem type swivel wheel, instead of the plate style swivel wheel. Would the stem fit through the hole and work just as well? Then you wouldn't need to worry about the bolt pattern for the plate.
Hi Moses, in theory yes you can, if the stem comes with a 2 big washers, placed inside & outside and tighten the nut, it should be strong enough. Also, the stem hole must be snug when new stem wheel is fitted. If its wobbly, it'll wear out the hole quicker. Hope that helps!
When you put the screws at 24:50 there is nothing on the other side at all? no nuts no anything? just the resin thing will hold the screws in place? Thanks
HI Anthony, nope, I did not put any nuts on the other side. You could find small bolts and nuts set, then apply resin to stop the nuts to undo themselves when in use. Hope that helps! :)
Seems like a lot of work! I don't thinki own the right tools... Can I just make one last trip with my luggage and come visit you so you can help me do this? ;P
Hey man, I don't do replacement service plus we are going on a travel trip soon out of the UK. Let me know if you want some guidance to replace your wheels okay 😁
I called a luggage place to replace wheels I want inline skate wheels and they told me those suitcases wheels cant be replaced with inline skate wheels. I dont want my wheels to break if I travel. I have spinner wheels 4 wheeled suitcase any suggestions?
Hiya, thanks for your comments. We'll the shop has a point that your suitcase can't have inline skate wheels as they could only go on those 2 wheeled suitcases that have a wheel on each side. However, if your suitcase wheels are not yet broken or jammed, you could lubicate them well with 'general purpose' grease that usually comes in a brownish or off white colour. Use a syringe to squidge grease into the spinner bearings and also the wheel shaft, wipe off the access with tissue and discard. If you're on a long walking trip with the suitcase, it's worth to bring some grease to spare if they get dried out in dusty conditions. Avoid using WD40 or similar as they dry out and wear out the plastic/metal contact points -which leads to jamming or breaking.

can i get it in india
yes, I think you could order a set of caster wheels from aliexpress to be posted to India. Make sure the size is correct before paying 😁
Good job!
thank you! 😁
Annoyingly my suitcase fabric lining is sown in all around with no zip, so I would have to rip-out/undo the stiching to replace a wheel in this way.
You should show how to replace wheels. I see your showing how suitcase is made. I stopped when you were giving the construction of suitcase.
What is the cost of one wheel
I got them for £2.90 each comes with ball bearings from B&Q
Need 25 kilos to watch this painful video
sir 2 much explain 🤣🤣🤣
That's not the easiest way to do it !
Useful video but it could be better if you reduce your talking
mute the video, problem solved 😁
terlalu banyak cakap benda tak penting. skipped it for the 1st few minutes. and couldnt finished the video due to the boredness.

Unnecessarily long video
you could set the video speed to 2.0x to go faster 😜 unfortunately the wheels are not plug-n-play, hence the long duration
Blah blah blah get to the point
It's not tiktok, of course its lengthy lol 🤣
