The trouble with vacuum packing clothes. Is that it’s likely you won’t have a vacuum to repack your worn clothes to come home. Meaning if you used it to fit more things into your bag, you’ll have less room returning.
There's this kind of packaging that you need to roll, so all air be forced out before you sealed it. No need vaccum machine, just a bit of human power, esp. when we use larger sizes 😅 It worked well for me though..
I have a bag that’s the size of a carryon, but it’s a backpack. It has compression straps on the outside, so you can tighten it up after you’ve packed it! Works great!
I've always wrapped all my clothing in tissue paper. It really does work for keeping everything fresh and the clothes dryer sheets I pack. But i use them at home too in all my drawers theyre fabulous for keeping things fresh.

The reason being that checked baggage in the hold could have the lithium batteries start a fire and no one would be the wiser until it is far too late. Well said Josh Anderson. I don’t understand why this video recommends what the airlines prohibit to do in regard to lithium batteries. They must be put in the carry on bags and not in checked bags.
Put all liquids 3 ounces or less in a ziplock bag . Also put passports , tickets , and other important papers in a seperate ziplock bag in case liquids leak or in case of rain .
Once when I arrived at the Amsterdam airport from South America, a sniffer dog started checking us ( may be for narcotics). When the German Shepherd came to me he 'sniffed' that I was an environmentalist and an ardent dog-lover. He started rolling over as if he had met a long lost friend. Finally, I had to pet and caress him, to the embarrassment of the Dutch security staff.
I go to the Philippines several times a year, basically spend half my time there. I bring coffee from the US every time. No problems. Actually it's nice because the bags of coffee I have are equiped with one-way air valves and at cruising altitude most of the air has escaped. Once we have landed, the bags of coffee are vacuum sealed bricks basically haha. Keeps them fresher longer imo
I once got stopped at the airport security check because I had one of those bluetooth trackers inside my carry-on, that apparently are not TSA compliant. Had no clue about it! I now bought a TSA compliant tracker, GEGO, works pretty well.
2. several airlines explicitly forbid putting lithium batteries into checked baggage, it is only allowed in carry on despite what is described here. It is easier to detect faulty batteries in the cabin and deal with them.
Not really either. I bring coffee from Colombia to the US all the time. No problem. No additional security checks on either checked or carry on luggage. This video is not exactly bright.
My carry-on rucksack contains everything I actually need for my holiday. That means binoculars, camera, passport, purse (in the British usage) with currency and credit/debit cards, phone, medication, notebook and pen, booking confirmation and itinerary, sunglasses, sunscreen, toothbrush, sun and rainhats, and of course boarding pass. Plus one set of clean underwear. I've never had my hold baggage delayed or apparently opened. It has nothing but clothes and indoor shoes in it.
My friend and I had our bags pulled and searched because we both had 6 bags each of 100% Kona coffee from the Big Island! My friend sent us home with high end coffee for gifts for family and friends.. I thought for sure they were gonna ask us about all our fishing gear because we flew there for an Ulua fishing tournament and they wanted to inspect gear that showed up on the xray scanner. They even called for backup while they questioned us about the dozen foil coffee packages that showed up as square black blobs that they thought was contraband! We almost missed our flight because the search took so long! I guess the Big Island isn't only known for awesome Kona coffee!😁🤙🏽
5 years ago I took a couple 3 pounds bags of coffee in my suitcase. Didn't have a problem. When I got home a friend sometimes smugglers pack drugs in coffee. Wow! On the trip back, without coffee, they did go through my luggage. They messed everything up. I found a note from TSA.😳

Never bring bottles of liquid, not even face cream in your carry bag, they will ask you to throw it no matter how expensive it is! Put it in the big luggage.

Tip for travelers : If you have prescription medication , always pack it in carryon not checked luggage . If your suitcase gets lost you wont have your medicine .Keep medicine in original prescription bottles with your name on it .
I now live in a country where my name is not on any medication. So weird. In the Netherlands the name of the doctor is on it, your name and address, the date and the dosage. Now I have medications of my whole family and have no idea whose what was and when it was prescribed. I don't bring my original packages though. That would take up so much space. Never had a problem. But I hardly ever fly.

Hello there...I just wanna know if i can bring instant coffee in my checked in luggage...not really the type of coffee with a strong fragrance..I only want in sachet coffee...thanks for the response
You can bring an electric toothbrush on a plane in your carry-on bag. It's not something the TSA worries about. The TSA is more worried about your toothpaste than your toothbrush which should be limited to 3.4 ounces! In fact, the best place to pack electric toothbrushes is in carry-on bags for three reasons. Put all your electronics on your carry-on.
Jigsaw puzzles apparently look weird. I had one in checked baggage. When I arrived in Australia my home country, I really got the 3rd degree. Opened my bag and they worked out it was the jigsaw. Apparently it looked like food which is a big no no to bring in unless sealed.
lithium batteries are normally an issue in checked luggage, not carry-ons*. Also airlines allow for 1 carry-on and 1 personal item (purse, or other). I have never heard anyone ask them to put a personal item IN the carry-on, but I wouldn't be surprised if an officer did at some point...
Tsa officer for the better part of the last decade here... Almost all of this is completely BS in the USA at least. My favorite thing was the impenetrable tin foil...lol
I had a sandwich in aluminum foil and coffee in my carryon, and they never said anything to me. TSA told me I could carry a lithium battery in my carryon (phone charger) but NOT in a checked bag. This video is incorrect.
You suggested packing electric toothbrush in checked bag rather than carry on in case it has a lithium battery. Lithium can NOT be packed in checked luggage, but can go in carry on.

As a 60+ year old man, I prefer to pack my fishnet stockings, pushup bras, corsets, thongs and stilettos in my carryon just in case my checked bag is lost or stolen! That way, I will have a "change of underwear", and an extra pair of shoes for dinner!
😉🤗🤣😂🤣
Happy Traveling! 😎✈
bro
Hmmmm, I have been buying coffee from every country I have travelling to, and packed them in my checked luggage, never had any problems. Maybe this applies to the country you are in.
Hello there...I just wanna know if i can bring instant coffee in my checked in luggage...not really the type of coffee with a strong fragrance..I only want in sachet coffee...thanks for the response
Love you bright side.
Thank for helpful tips👍🏽
You can bring an electric toothbrush on a plane in your carry-on bag. It's not something the TSA worries about. The TSA is more worried about your toothpaste than your toothbrush which should be limited to 3.4 ounces! In fact, the best place to pack electric toothbrushes is in carry-on bags for three reasons.
Put all your electronics on your carry-on.
Can v carry tomato sauce preservative in international flight...check in luggage...I m travellingbto Switzerland frm india..plz reply

Jigsaw puzzles apparently look weird. I had one in checked baggage. When I arrived in Australia my home country, I really got the 3rd degree. Opened my bag and they worked out it was the jigsaw. Apparently it looked like food which is a big no no to bring in unless sealed.
The airport security officer looks scary af ! -.-
Hi Bright Side. Can i still bring cigarattes in my luggage or carry on bag?
lithium batteries are normally an issue in checked luggage, not carry-ons*. Also airlines allow for 1 carry-on and 1 personal item (purse, or other). I have never heard anyone ask them to put a personal item IN the carry-on, but I wouldn't be surprised if an officer did at some point...
Great enjoyed and enlightened
Tsa officer for the better part of the last decade here... Almost all of this is completely BS in the USA at least. My favorite thing was the impenetrable tin foil...lol
I had a sandwich in aluminum foil and coffee in my carryon, and they never said anything to me. TSA told me I could carry a lithium battery in my carryon (phone charger) but NOT in a checked bag. This video is incorrect.
Bruh, this was made by a sneaky Russian company just to squeeze money off the Algorithm
I love a Vanilla latte. Nice video!
I found out the Bright Side Algorithm
Put videos about the air
Hi i would like to ask if Airline allowing to put the 7kg luggage inside the 30kg luggage for check in??let me know.thanks
You suggested packing electric toothbrush in checked bag rather than carry on in case it has a lithium battery. Lithium can NOT be packed in checked luggage, but can go in carry on.
THAT'S TRUE.
Hi. Can I carry cordless battery driller . In my checking bag?
