Hey Sam. For those of us who went to crappy public schools and maybe incurred a traumatic head injury; could you take a stab at the mil vs moa paradigm? I really feel like you were about to crack into it, but maybe cut due to time. If nay, any direction you could point me?✌️
I could Maby try to do that but there are some great videos in that topic as well. I am by no means an expert and honestly it tricks me sometimes also. The easiest way to try and see the difference is in mils 3 clicks gets you almost an inch. Where moa it’s 4 clicks. Moa is technically more precise but not enough to make a difference. I think mil reticles in the scopes today are way better than moa. That’s the main reason I choose mils. But whatever you choose it really doesn’t matter it will make more sense as you use it. And stick with one or the other I used to shoot moa but switched to mils and it is just easier for me it’s in a base 10 system.
I hope so man it’s an awesome can. And it will still work fine. Also there may be a fix for it. If it works I’ll have to do a video on it here in the future.
@sampietroburgo built mine with a grayboe ph 2 stock, carbon 6 18in barrel, big horn action. Waiting on my mark 4 scope then I'll be ready to start hunting.
I’ve actually thought about getting a fde scope. I just had that one laying around. But I like the black otherwise but I totally see what you see though man.

@@christopherdodson323that sounds like a killer set up. Good choices of components.
I did a 16" 22gt build myself. Havent shot it yet. Will be running 62gr vt and 64 tgk
Yea I bet your gun will be a straight tac driver. I’m going to start out running the 60gr tmk. But I would like to try some of the 62s at some point
Bad ass setup!
Thanks!
Nice boomstick! 👊😎🇺🇲
The trigger portion you are talking about is called the shoe of the trigger
Thanks man. Yea that’s exactly what it is. It totally slipped my mind when I was making the video.
Nice rig 🇺🇸
Thanks man it came out good I think
if you want to sell that scope if you do swap it out. i have been wanting a legend precision.
Yea man I’ll let you know if I do. I may having something else I can put it on though.
@@sampietroburgo ok. Let me know. I’m in Nebraska. Where in Missouri are you? North south east west? I’m originally from NE Missouri.
@@joshuaschenk2661I’m in southern Missouri
@@sampietroburgo beautiful area there!
I fkn dig it man. Im rocking a way too heavy lwrci .224 20 inch i might flute or chop/sbr it. I like that stock and color. Looks fkn expensive 😅
Yea she was not cheap but a gun that will out shoot me and also last forever. It’s all worth it to me. And thanks man.
Nice!!
Thanks!
If i may. I would burnt bronze or fde the scope barrel, etc. That's just nit-picking imo
