- Lucky Duck Predator Pros Rick Paillet and Geoff Nemnich are in Kansas, and it's early February; Coyote breeding season. Rick wants a chance at a bobcat, but the prey distress sounds aren't doing it for the coyotes. As Rick starts to play more coyote vocals, the coyotes come rolling in.

This was the best Coyote hunting episode I have ever seen posted to UA-cam. I love how you guys talk about which sounds your running and the thought process behind it. I have been a Foxpro guy for the last 3 years. I briefly tried out a LD Revolt 2 years ago and switched back to my fusion a short time later. I just received my Lucky Duck Roughneck a few weeks ago and I can say for certain that the Foxpro will not leave the closet! You guys knocked it out of the park with the Roughneck. The remote is a huge upgrade and the sound library / audio quality is unmatched. Keep killing it guys!
This is my favorite type of schooling. Thank you for all the knowledge that you give us. Love the show and keep the fur flying!
That was a Joy to watch fellows ! Thanks !
I appreciate the time you take to provide your viewers with important background information (time of year, primary coyote activity and sounds that align with this activity) to help us learn how to approach our own stands during various times of the year. Don't get me wrong the "hammer shots" are nice, but the circumstances leading up to the BANG are helpful. Thanks.
Paul Koehler it differentiates the show and gives context to the success!

Great episode ima use that pup distress as a plan d before I wrap up a stand
This profile (have like 10 of them for different content) started out to view journalism and news content. Low in behold it's become my conservative profile (military history, guns, outdoors, etc). And this channel has become one of my favorite channels throughout UA-cam.
Lucky Duck - the best !!!
The Replay at 13min 47 seconds in , you could SEE the Bullet in the AIR !!!!!!! AMAZING !!!!
Great video as always. Should open your horizons rick and head out of state to do some night calling. Think you'd be hooked bud
Hi guys, just like to how much I enjoy your channel I've never owned a bullet rifle only air rifles many years ago now ,best wishes and seasons greetings from caerphilly South Wales UK 👍😊
Another great video Rick and Geoff keep em coming!!!
Great video, I use the same tactics during breeding season for Black backed Jackal except I hunt at night
Black backed Jackal is a nocturnal predator, I have called during the day with limited success, so when the sun goes down I become a jackal stalker 😆
Lucky Duck my favorite Channel
Apparently if you sell your fur, each one is a composition of 3 coyotes. One for the base and two more to patch all of the holes!
All good start to finish.
Nice shooting - lots of fun.
Gotta love it! Great video!
Awesome video!
Nice shootin', sweet triple on day 3 :-) I appreciate the info you give, sharing your knowledge if you will, thank you :-)
Great hunting boys, well done. Love your videos. We don’t have hunts like this in the UK. Really appreciate you showing this hunting. Thank you. Graham 🇬🇧🇬🇧
At 13:50 you can literally see the velocity of the bullet!
Awesome video. Keep it up
Awesome episode
What length barrel are you using and what's the twist rate?
Coyote population down? Come to Michigan, I can take you to coyotes that's never been hunted....not yet lol. Your videos motivated me to start hunting coyote. Thanks Guys
Or Phoenix. They are a terrible threat to adults, children, and pets in our own yards
@@mholder5796 no doubt man really? That's absolutely terrible brother that coyotes are so over populated there. It's because people aren't hunting them. That's why I'm getting into coyote hunting. They're horrible around here. Huge packs of them run the woods and swamps by my cuzins
@@mholder5796 i can't tell you how many dead ones I've seen on the 10 freeway the past couple weeks. Need to get an airgun and hammer them in city limits.

Fantastic job guys!
Great videos !!
LOVE THIS !👍👍👍👍👍
Yall need to get some thermals and call at night. So much fun.
Love the choice of rifle and shotgun
Great job guys 🇺🇸👍🏻
Less words - more deeds !
The "words" are a shortcut for those of us who haven't put in the time to learn this stuff.
Keep doing what you’re doing guys. Very entertaining and educational.
Boom, boom, boom. Out go the lights!
Rick is stone cold. Love ya man. First seen you with Randy many moons ago, making "Tweety" from a shell casing.
Keep it up boys. Come to Missouri and hunt.
So how long do you normally have to wait to get a suppressor? What makes do you guys recommend? I live down in Cochise County, AZ and it is loaded down here. Maybe I just shoot without a suppressor and move to new location?
John here that guy running the video good hunter knows the coyotes and know how to play them.
Hey all those Lucky Duck boxes behind you guys.....be a shame if one got send to my house.
I appreciate your programs and have decided to begin hunting also.I was wondering what you fellas do with the carcass, what do you suggest?
Nice shooting on that first runner...
Wondering what seats they're using with the slide in that the caller fits into?
This will be the future of YCP supporters I believe.
Come to Arizona South Mountain now lot’s of coyotes
I love your videos. We want to hunt coyotes in Arizona
I need one of those bipods!! If anyone has an extra laying around I could def use it! Lol can’t afford anything that fancy but wow they are cool 😎
Where in Kansas did you go? I grew up a little north of Salina.
What kind of suppressor do you have on your AR
What choke are you using on the VR80 ?
What size of scope do you use on your AR?
Just bought a .300 Win Mag. Nest stop, coyote hunting.
Great hunt , great video!!!
Need your little advice, Will you recommend for this type hunting 20”barrel or 18” for AR ?
What kind of bullets you will recommended ?
Thanks
Faxon match series 18" flame fluted .223 Wylde barrel with Federal Power-Shok 55 Gr. Soft Point. Stops 'em dead in their tracks.
20" barrel adds unnecessary weight and length in my opinion just my 2 cents
18"...Hornady 53 grain vmax superformance
Rick's bolt gun is quiet. Dose anyone know what caliber he shoots? Also wondering what bolt action and caliber the other guy uses with the sand or snow colored camo riffle in the other videos
I get a kick out of some guys who are all about the camo but have a big red sponsor logo all over there equipment !!
What rifle and ammunition are you using? Great video
Love your work. What binoculars are you using? Do they have a visual range finder in them??
Geoff uses the Bushnell Rangefinding binoculars and has had good luck with them.
Thanks.
What kind of suppressors do you guys run?
Dose auxiliary jack come with king critter decoy?
Season 2:9 what shotgun did y’all use ??
What type of shotgun setup would you recommend for North Alabama? Rocky, steep, and wooded! I'm honestly thinking about the Kalashnikov ks-12
Our guys use everything from Benelli to Beretta to Rock Island Armory. As long as the shotgun works, the ammo (Hornady Heavy Magnum Coyote) is more important than the gun.
Your Camoflauge pattern is spot on for concealment where you are hunting at.. .
Nice bro ther
I don’t know why people aren’t taught How to kill a coyote in school, but cheers your doing gods work for us
Hey Geoff what can are you running on that AR?
I've always wanted to get into Coyote hunting and i've looked up the laws in Michigan but i'm stumped. Do i need a base license and how do i Obtain one? and what caliber should i use. i'm looking at a 6.5 Grendel for a all around hunting rifle
.223 and 22-250 are very popular i use a 22.250 the 6.5 is becoming popular as well. If you want something for a all round gun go 6.5 or even a 243 depending what your after
Awesome footage guy's. Say what's that shotgun rig that your using with the AR platform
i was wondering same thing
Lorn Ferguson *guys *you're
Rock island armory vr80
Is that weapon a 17 ? Excellent caller Rick, you guys need to sell Ricks!!!
Good Job Guys. Take them all out
Were you guys tournament hunting?
Just curious as to dragging those yotes out with the fur AGAINST THE GRAIN so to speak.
Go out by Eskridge there’s about 9
Whats that shotgun you use on the last coyote, Jeff?
It's a derya MK-12
@Dave Renalds triggered much?
Rock island armory vr80
You guys make it look easy, lol I'd love to have you guys come to Newfoundland Canada and show me a thing or two regarding coyote killing! Our terrain and forest here is much different then what I see in these videos, I love the videos, but I don't think (maybe I'm wrong ) it can ever be so easy here. Your videos are great to watch!
than* what
hey Rick how about some sheep/lamb and goat/kid sounds?
What setup is that bolt gun?
Do you just set up in an open field?
Where in KS were you at? I’m just outside the city limits of Junction City and we’re loaded with them.
I’m looking to buy a revolt call where do you guys suggest I get it from??
Scheels and cabelas will have them on sale this time of year. Dicks Sporting goods and those too.
Finna Coyote hunting in my small rural town Marks Mississippi opening fields and backwoods
Oh hell yea du 15s 24s what it be mane
Whic gun is being used ?
Nice guns
Love you videos. Give us some.info on your equipment guns etc.
The AR's are Daniel Defense, shooting 53 grain v-max superformance Hornady ammo. Using Swagger bipods. The calls are Lucky Duck Predator Calls, the seats are also Lucky Duck brand.
What are they using?
Where are these calls made?
Can anyone tell me the title of the video in which a bobcat comes up to them and looks at them and they don't kill him?
Switchback outdoors has an amazing one!!! Best I've seen. Wearing that electrcal field stuff.
Google it if you have to
@@gamehunter07 ~ Hey Man, you were right! Thanks a bunch! I've been looking for that video for a couple of weeks. The title of it is "Up Close And Personal Bobcat, Switchback Outdoors." I was looking for it in the Lucky Duck videos. No wonder I couldn't find it. Anyway, thanks again for telling me that!
@@jimyost2585 kill *it
You guys take a long time to shoot. As soon as they stop you pop. You got 1 of 3 with 2 or 3 guns. I do realize the one on the left became the one on the right, it helps to have a plan of scenarios like move to left if you're taking left and the other guy takes the right placement up until shooting the set. I understand you can't plan much out beforehand but you can have a set of rules for basic scenarios to take more coyotes.
What's the name of those style of bipods?
There's a sure fire way to never have a bad hunt...
GET YOURSELF A COYOTE DECOY DOG...
Best thing EVER to make your success rate nearly 100% .
I know mine is...
what you guys do with all that meat?
What supressors you run on your rifle
Daniel Defense Wave
What rifle is that ric
I need to pay more attention to thin them out in va
Once again Great video guys..... what caliber AR y’all usually run? And I’m guessing subsonic ammunition? Freaking love it.
Billy Sherrell .223 in the ar. Hornady VMAX is what they use. Not subsonic
Treyden French ... 10/4 ... ya after commenting I was like heck that can’t be no sub ammo... they taking to long of shots for that... mic just made it sound a lot quieter I recon. Thanks man
@@billysherrell664 too* long
Watta you do with the coyote
Man that's great footage! Wish I did better during breeding season.
*breeding
What’s the rifle for coyote hunting that’s under $400?
do you guys like the rebel or revolt better
What suppressor do u run
Daniel Defense Wave
@@GeoffNemnich does that one have a brake incorporated in it? The brake is my favorite feature of my AR, just cant stand the noise and after 2 seasons of the Howard Lieghs, it's hard to get used to them.
@@mikeburton5482 I've never heard of a suppressor having a brake in them. Recoil has always been like 75% less with any suppressor I've shot.
@@GeoffNemnich not many do but I think some companies are making them now or starting to. Im not very informed on them.
What's the name of your preditor calls?
I love this shit
Do you get anything for the fur nowadays?
Yes!
Unfortunately not where I am. No coyotes but plenty of red fox
You ever get hit in the face with ejected shells ? I've stayed away from semi auto's because eating shells sucks. Your videos are great by the way.
If the gas system is properly calibrated, they should kick straight out the side, and you can avoid brass kicking back towards the shooter.
