It could also be his real name, and Hersh is just a cover identity. It would explain the look on his face if she knew his real name. That wouldn't quite fit with the fact that Shaw uses her real name, but Hersh seems old school so maybe he erased his original identity in an earlier "Job" before his current one? It's too bad he died, as misguided as he ended up being he was quite possibly the best agent on the relevant side, especially after Shaw's "death".

Shaw was also one of my favorite POI characters. In the end it was Shaw and Bear.
She was made for it- Harold never was.
