The Secret of Hitler's Speech

- Speeches come in all shapes and sizes, and can serve a wide range of purposes. From inspiring and motivating audiences to informing and educating them, speeches are a powerful tool for communication and connection.
Some common types of speeches include persuasive speeches, which are designed to convince the audience to take a particular action or adopt a certain point of view. Informative speeches provide factual information on a particular topic.
So I spent hundreds of hours studying the most iconic speakers, from Martin Luther King to Frederick Douglass. Hitler also possessed some public speaking technique. It’s widely known that Adolf Hitler was a masterful orator, able to captivate and inspire large crowds with his powerful speeches. While his message and actions were despicable, it’s important to acknowledge the persuasive techniques he used to sway the masses.
Hitler’s speeches were characterised by his use of emotional language, repetition, and grandiose claims. He appealed to the fears and prejudices of his audience, and presented himself as the only solution to their problems.

It was more than the rhythm. I've listened to snippets of his speeches translated into English. He spoke emotionally and passionately about stuff that people would have cared about in post ww1 Germany.
Stuff people care about today dude
He spoke about the exact things you see in today's western world. Small section of people controlling vast wealth and using it to subvert nations. Society being corrupted through media. Media being controlled by one small group. Arts and culture being altered.
Yeah his rhythm excuse is just wrong. Hitler knew Germany and the situation they were in. They were being drained. WW2 was happening with or without Hitler.
@@TheClavichord Better with than without
because he did care and take "notice",just like every other germans did. We are pretty much in Weimar Republic 2.0. As General Patton said, "we fought the wrong enemy"
Very few people called Hitler Adolf. Only his closest friends called him Adolf. This dude is referring to Hitler like he's a homie.
Literally that was what hitler had for talent and he used it - to make you feel homes with him. I believe mussolini did the same.

Honestly makes so much sense. First hand accounts always describe how Hitler would start off slow in his speeches and it would slowly escalate. By the time he was done even the skeptics would be riled up by his speech. Apparently he also did something similar in private conversations. People would be talking with him and he would suddenly start going on a rant which would end with him basically screaming as if he were giving a speech. Sometimes he would go on talking for hours as well.
His message carried alot of meaning to the people he was conveying his words to, whether it had a beat or not. He gave them confidence again and made them proud to be German

If you think that Hitler was a rhythmic speaker, then Malcolm X was a full melody.
He can persuade anyone wiz his way unless u r a stuborn, his truthfulness is his power which many speakers didn't have today.
As much as I'd like to agree it was not even possible for Malcolm X to have more so of an oratrocial pull than Hitler, there's just no comparison at all.
Malcolm has a timeless message that will never die but Hitler had that fckin passion he was like a crackhead on that stage
There is also a speech that played everytime we won in a game called Call of Duty: World at War. Hitler said "In Us burns germany, behind us stands Germany and ahead of us lays Germany!" He had ways with words

It was not just the rhythm of the speeches, it was the words, the specific vocabulary, the tone of voice, its nuances, the postures, body and face expression, perfect timing and synchronization spoken word- body movements, EVERYTHING. Hitler himself spoke about this in his book and he talked about how impressed he was with Mussolini and his way of drawing crowds with just his tongue. That is largely why Hitler saw Mussolini as his main inspiration.
Which book?
It's all about getting the message across❤
“the words don’t carry” 😂smh
There's a reason they wouldn't translate his words in documentaries about him.
The words definitely carried.
We're all finding that out now, aren't we?
The world is built on lies and history is written by the victors
I think more important than Hitler's rhythm was how he delivered every sentence as if his life depended on it
Orators like Hitler and Mussolini were skilled at using body language and performance to captivate their audiences. In the past, movies and TV shows focused more on dramatic gestures and expressive performances, unlike today's more realistic approach. Words can convey drama, but the impact of body language is often overlooked. Trump, for example, incorporates some of these techniques, which is why he has a strong presence. Preachers, especially in black churches, also use powerful gestures and vocal delivery. There were many reasons why Germans and Italians followed these leaders, but the way they utilized these techniques in their speeches played a significant role in winning the hearts of their countrymen.
Yea, the little Austrian corporal did have a talent for speaking.

Great fact: Hitler’s Mother’s doctor (Eduard Bloch) was a Jew himself, but thanks to his kindness of taking care of Hitler’s mother, with a reduced cost and low billing because he knows about Hitler’s financial status at the time, he got off scot free, protected by Hitler himself from the anti-Jewish sentiment. Hitler also let him emigrate to the USA, where he stayed until his death.
The words carry.
Neo-Nazi editors can agree. It’s very easy to underlay epic music under his speeches, because they are so rhythmic.
It’s cause he was one of the few politicians who ever lived who actually believed what he said 100%. You can hear the emotions of a war veteran of a man who had to starve on the streets and you just can’t fake that

If now 80 years later you haven’t figured out that Hitler’s speech was full of outright lies and half truths strung together to form a tapestry of hate.. he constantly professed a deep love for Germany, then he proceeded to reduce the entire country to rubble.

He's right when he says that the words don't carry. If you read George Orwell's review of Mein Kampf (which you can read online for free) he says that you can feel the attraction of Hitler's personality through Mein kampf's "clumsy" writing and especially more so if you listen to one of his speeches. I don't think Orwell ever understood German but if that leftist felt an attraction to Hitler then this man must be right. There is something about Hitler that attracted and pulled so many people towards him. I don't think we will ever know. Charisma, you either have it or you don't.
