I don't know if you covered them yet, but I do remember seeing a pizza delivery arcade, where it had handles of the moped as a controller. Plus I remember coming a cross a ski arcade game, believe it was called Naganou? please tell me I haven't been hallucinating these titles haha
I was once left in the arcade. I cried and was taken to a police station finger printed to identify my parents who then came to pick me up after a few days.
I once left my wristwatch in the arcade. I took it off so I could play mortal kombat better. It didn't help though. Not only did I lose my watch but I lost the game, too. 😢
Thanks Joe, I had a really bad day yesterday and even at 2 AM today it isn't going so hot either. Just seeing this pop up on my subscription page made me smile. Can't wait to watch the video and just have a stupid grin on my face. I'm old, and have been a gamer for over 40 years now. And Game Sack is literally my entire younger years but in Joe form. Works for me!
Moved into my new apartment tonight, thanks for the vid as i set up my pc! You rock gamesack. Your underrated game and hidden gem videos showed me some amazing games.
You need to check out the PS2 rpg graffiti kingdom. It's bonkers you literally draw creatures and play as them. Like you could draw a plant and bounce around and fight or make a robot etc
I'm still bummed about David Lynch passing. Good to see a fresh out of the oven Game Sack to cheer me up. I wonder if there are any games that are kind of like Twin Peaks 🤔
Thank you for teaching us so many things Mr Joe Sack! I mean, who knew that Mr Dick was such a huge fan of Rastan?! I guess no one knew it until now! This is one of the reasons I follow Mr Sack.
It's wild how the intro got changed right after I made mention of that SNES ascii pad with the nintendo snes stock buttons. Anyway, good stuff, glad to see you covering some arcade stuff that never got a home port. There are and unfortunately high amount of those out there that the preservation community is trying to save and put out in a digital fashion so we could still play them. Looking forward to the next one 😊
For what it's worth, Van Dyke is part of the Hamster Arcade Archives, too. Tatsumi, the guys who made Big Fight, also made a pretty impressive racing game called Buggy Boy, aka Speed Buggy. It uses a lot of in your face visuals, a'la OutRun, but I think it was released a year before it. These days, I think they make sticker machines!
Oh wow, I played Prop Cycle on my 12th Birthday. Seeing it here brought back some memories. Knackered me right out! Would have loved to have played Virtua Cop 3 back in the day too
Prop Cycle was great, it really felt like you were flying. Arcade games used to have better graphics and get the new games vs. the home systems. The development costs got high enough that by the late 90s arcade machines started using home consoles inside (but with more RAM and different names). So, to be different they started using unique controls like bicycle, skis, (Alpine Racer), fire hose (Brave Firefighters). Now the arcade machines, PS4/5, Xboxes are PCs inside.
Bucky O'Hare had a arcade game and there was also Night Stalkers and another 4 player beatem up where you could change ina wolf , panther , bull or bear depending on your character.
Virtua Cop 3 is actually my favourite of the series. It’s so much fun on the actual cabinate, and not as dark as the footage in this video. Also I don’t rcall those blobs outside, I just beat it recently so could be an emulation thing. The slow down time feature also doesn’t flash black when activated on the arcade cabinate as far as I remember, and it’s main purpose is to shoot the enemies bullets if their timers run out, so it essentially gives you some extra time. Definitely don’t skip if you see it in the arcade! I was always disappointed that it never got a port, probably cleared the whole thing about 20 times, it’s my favourite lightgun shooter!
Radirgy is one of my favorite games left in the arcade - and in Japan only, at that! It’s a shmup from Milestone. You’d dig it! It ran on the Sega Naomi so it has those juicy Dreamcast vibes.
Virtua cop 3..... The issues you mention (no recital, black outs on screen, black goo) are not present on real HW. Its an emulation issue. The real board doesnt have any of those issues (there still one in my local arcade)
The Virtua Cop series was one i often went out of my way to play. Probably the few arcade series I can say I beat well they were still in arcades. Virtua Cop 3 was in this random side arcade located in this hotel. I actually remember it being easy, or at least I didn’t need to spend as many quarters I normally would Not sure why ai ranted about that aside from trying not to think on how dark this “awkward joe” is playing out 😨 well at least he got $5! 💰
5 buckaroonies and a new Nintendo game, what a steal. Dick Van Dyke is still alive and if he watches this he might be able to convince them to release it to consoles and give us a sequel.
IDEA: Don't know if it is already done by Joe, but can we have a compilation of ''games that were left in the arcade but finally got a home release'' ? Example, RASTAN SAGA 3 and PUNISHER both recently got a home release, and i am sure so many others did, so an episode like that would be fun and also very informative.
A new fresh Sack! Also, as with Surprise Attack after it, Vandyke is actually available on home consoles (not left in the arcade), but as part of Hamster's Arcade Archives line, please edit the video.
As you probably already know, Atari (through Tengen) had licensing deals with Namco and Sega to get their games on the NES, so there was probably some arcade exclusion clause somewhere. I wish we got a Sega-made Sonic game on the NES...ah well...
Wow. The production value and presentation really shot up in quality for that last scene! Stop that silly stuff from the main video and give us more of that
I'm sure it probably has been covered, but Sega Super GT/Scud Race getting no home console port outside of the one-lap track showcase bonus track in the Xbox release of OutRun 2 exclusively. I'm pretty sure it's the only game with the BPR racing series as its focus as well.
behind any great entertainer or artist who retires prematurely, is a bossy wife who wants to suck all the fun out of his life. I guarantee that's what happened to our friend Dave.
Seems like virtua cop 3 suffers from 'bomberman act zero syndrome' where the Devs went for the dark and gritty aesthetic and completely removed all the visual appeal of the previous games in the series.
Maybe next Left in the Arcade episode you can talk about House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn a d House of the Dead EX, perhaps Capcom's Luigi's Mansion as well.
They made a Virtua Cop 3?! I'll also get Confidential Mission. Been waiting for an excuse to break out the pc trilogy lightguns. Sinden, Aimtrak and Gun4ir.
I don't think it would've been too hard to port Dirt Fox to SNES at all. It wouldn't even need an enhancement chip as F-Zero had large maps streamed into memory the same as any 2D game would and it managed to do this without the DSP-1 that Super Mario Kart and Pilotwings both used and only had small maps that were only slightly bigger than the screen! As for Dirt Dash, similar thing. Namco would only need to stream the track data from the CD if it was too big to fit into RAM and that wouldn't be a huge issue. And you know there would've been support for the neGcon had there been a PS1 version!
Did you ever cover the Wangen Midnight Maximum Tune series? I can't remember for the life of me if you ever did or not. If not, you should. It's a great racing game.
This is a great vid, but I have one correction to make: Vandyke did indeed have a port for the Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2021, so that game is misrepresented here, unfortunately!
So what are some other games that were left in the arcade which you feel should have been brought home?
I don't know if you covered them yet, but I do remember seeing a pizza delivery arcade, where it had handles of the moped as a controller. Plus I remember coming a cross a ski arcade game, believe it was called Naganou?
please tell me I haven't been hallucinating these titles haha
Violent Storm by konami
To my knowledge, Guardians of the Hood is the unofficial sequel to Pit Fighter.
Joe you should do a comedy skit about the comment section. Could be hilarious.

Who needs TikTok when you got Game Sack?
💯💯💯💫

It's getting better right now buddy
What happened?
Stay a while and I’ll listen
- Deckard Kane
@LordLOC Take care.
DVD, the only person to ever have played through Rastan while on rollerskates. I tip my hat to him.
Is Dave breaking in?
Needed some Sack tonight, thank you.

Thanks, Joe, once again, for keeping this channel alive as it is greatly appreciated by myself and many others.
its the best retro gaming channel
I was left in the arcade once. Some cop asked me if I'd seen John Connor.
Yeah I always wondered how long of a walk home he had that day.
The one time i filmed myself talking about records. That end bit is exactly what it sounded and looked like. Being good on camera takes talent!
And here I was looking for old episodes to re watch only to find Joe has graced us with a new fresh sack
9 Years whit game sack from Mexico , best videogame channel ever
I love me some Sack every other Sunday morning. 👍 Thank you for doing this all these years.
Snowed in and trying to stay warm in northern Colorado (winter finally showed up! Lol) tonight and this sure helps! Thanks Joe!
Moved into my new apartment tonight, thanks for the vid as i set up my pc! You rock gamesack. Your underrated game and hidden gem videos showed me some amazing games.

I credit Joe for getting me into Neo Geo and Turbo Grafx-16
"the killer... he had the wrong house" LOL
Always love the end skits 😂
Thank you, Mr Joe, for showing me more games I've never heard of.
best retro channel, no arguments.
Give it up for Joe's massive framed After Burner poster
Fun fact: Prop cycle received a sequel called Hanechari as a VR amusement ride in Japan!
I'm still bummed about David Lynch passing. Good to see a fresh out of the oven Game Sack to cheer me up. I wonder if there are any games that are kind of like Twin Peaks 🤔
What? Oh maaaaan
Hell yeah, I love these arcade videos. Game Sack's the best!
Thank you for teaching us so many things Mr Joe Sack! I mean, who knew that Mr Dick was such a huge fan of Rastan?! I guess no one knew it until now! This is one of the reasons I follow Mr Sack.
That end scream haha. I love the end clips so much. Great work and this video :D

Congrats on making that $5! You earned it!

Guardians looked awesome. I loved the 'Pit Fighter' look.
Oh wow, I played Prop Cycle on my 12th Birthday. Seeing it here brought back some memories. Knackered me right out!

Game Sack episode = automatic click
Last few days have been rough im glad i can watch this before bed
Bucky O'Hare had a arcade game and there was also Night Stalkers and another 4 player beatem up where you could change ina wolf , panther , bull or bear depending on your character.
Metamorphic Force?
silly Joe all these games were announced yesterday as SWITCH 2 launch titles
Shoutout to you Joe. Love everything you do $

Vendetta was one that would have been cool to have on home port
I'm relieved that everything ended well for Awkward Joe. I was afraid that it would be the end of his career.
2am? Time to grab my Sack!
Learning about games has never been more fun
Those background noises in the endskit like the world is falling apart outside his house😅
11:46 They must be flat earthers and have their own personal skyboxes! 14:46 It seems they are the ones cleaning the place!
I was gonna like this regardless, but the Dick Van Dyke is a huge Rastan fan schtick assured it.
Wow, I miss GameDave. Hasn't see any of his videos in a long time.
real life sucks sometimes.
dave is fine he became a porn star ,with a member so large why waste the talent
Vandyke got a console release under the Arcade Archives line on PS4.
Vandyke!! Thanks Joe - you have unlocked a 35 year-old memory! Was wondering what it was called...
I was 10 years old when some of those games were released 😅 so nostalgic
Radirgy is one of my favorite games left in the arcade - and in Japan only, at that! It’s a shmup from Milestone. You’d dig it! It ran on the Sega Naomi so it has those juicy Dreamcast vibes.
So many juicy Dreamcast vibes that it was ported to the Dreamcast, and PS2/GameCube.
Hey Joe, can you make a video showing the difference between Sega pc games and the console version.
I thought quiznos went outta business
Virtua cop 3..... The issues you mention (no recital, black outs on screen, black goo) are not present on real HW. Its an emulation issue. The real board doesnt have any of those issues (there still one in my local arcade)

Happy Sunday Mr GameSack guy!
5 buckaroonies and a new Nintendo game, what a steal. Dick Van Dyke is still alive and if he watches this he might be able to convince them to release it to consoles and give us a sequel.
Prop Cycle also had a fan that would change how hard it blows on you depending on your speed.
The dreamcast shooter did look hella cool. The dreamcast is so rare in my little part of the world
0:40 He said cycle!
I was a huge fan of Rastan, but the constant references to it in season 7 of The Dick Van Dyke Show kinda soured me on it.
Virtua Cop 3 does have the rings, I suspect there may be a layering or particle issue in however you're getting the footage for this.
IDEA:

18:55 Freddy Voorhees? No he is only a legend.
Eyy!! Perfect timing
That's right, Joe!
Virtua Cop 3 is different, but not bad IMHO.
When I saw that Sega game Get Bass with an actual rod and reel attached I thought no effin way
A new fresh Sack! Also, as with Surprise Attack after it, Vandyke is actually available on home consoles (not left in the arcade), but as part of Hamster's Arcade Archives line, please edit the video.
lol that ending
So in that VanDyke game, is there a button combination that allows you to stop, drop, and roll Dick roll?
Awesome time to watch Gamesack , who cares about tiktok.
Word 💯
You should have never cared about it, like me.
As you probably already know, Atari (through Tengen) had licensing deals with Namco and Sega to get their games on the NES, so there was probably some arcade exclusion clause somewhere.
I wish we got a Sega-made Sonic game on the NES...ah well...

It's like watching Abbot without Costello. Or Hardy without Laurel. Or Penn without the guy who never talks unless he's Amy's dad on Big Bang Theory.
behind any great entertainer or artist who retires prematurely, is a bossy wife who wants to suck all the fun out of his life. I guarantee that's what happened to our friend Dave.
it is a shame we lost him in that tragic incident from a few years ago
@santimaci
Yeah, that dishwashing incident still gets to me.
Seems like virtua cop 3 suffers from 'bomberman act zero syndrome' where the Devs went for the dark and gritty aesthetic and completely removed all the visual appeal of the previous games in the series.
Sunday sack!

TAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE MOOOODE
I love this channel!
Perfect time before my nap😅👍
I really like dirt dash, it doesn’t really do anything special but it’s just really fun. Shame it never got a port
It would be cool to have these episodes be in alphabetical order, like "All in the games left in the arcade from A-C" etc etc.
Maybe next Left in the Arcade episode you can talk about House of the Dead Scarlet Dawn a d House of the Dead EX, perhaps Capcom's Luigi's Mansion as well.
Saturday night game sack!!
This was an awesome episode !!!!!!!!
the targeting reticle in VC3 is there.
mame just doesn’t display it.
get a ram upgraded xbox and it’ll run properly there too.
Virtua Cop 3 does look like it uses a more advanced version of the Confidential Mission engine.
Oh the absolute *DREAD* I felt when Joe brought up "Guardians of the 'Hood". That sound is *HORRENDOUS* 😵💫
lol you don't look dumb! Gretat videos.. always fun and entertaining to watch!! Keep up the good work!! ^^

Hope the emulation of VC3 improves soon. Even if the game is middling, it's one I've been curious about for years! Same with Planet Harriers.
