I'm not sure if this is true (didn't fact check) but apparently Miura always had Hirasawa's music playing in the background while he was writing the manga out.

Brooo I was reading the seventh too, and that song at 7:32 kicked in when the Falcon arrived and saved Casca, while Guts was still slaying the 100 men. And then at 8:32 they found him against the tree with all the body around. I can’t explain how magical it felt !

i was reading the eclipse chapter and the music started picking up. guts held griffith's shoulders and the behelit started crying and the sky turned dark and was filled with heads of dead souls. it was really epic

I'm starting rigth now Number 9 of Maximum Berserk. Yesterday i finished number 8 while listening to this playlist, it was incredebly awesome.
I accidentally stumbled upon this playlist while putting my youtube on autoplay as I was listening to some jpop. This playlist is the reason I read Berserk and I just finished it today to the latest chapter 371. My experience? Phenomenal, never have I thought I can go through feeling of joy, excitement, pain and despair. But one thing for sure, I wish to learn a crucial character from the manga, Acceptance and self development, to be better than me from before, regardless of daily obstacle, Just need to sometime wriggle and stand through challenges.
Also, Griffith's the worse. Even if you raised a nice kingdom upon yer dead comrades, leave Guts alone man. He was just finding peace...

1:23:44 dark souls ending theme started playing as i reached chapter 330, and my heart was broken to what happened to chitch. it does not help at all the fact that the souls games have had a serious effect on me and dealing with suicide and the darkest demons i deal with on a daily basis. i sobbed for over 30 minutes and i dont cry much at all (edit: i want to clarify that the souls games had a positive impact on how i deal with my problems, which is why the ending theme was very emotional to me as i reached the chapter about chitch)
what a transition from metal to sad... as the playlist was playing hardcore music during the sea god chapters, and the sudden switch to sad music was just perfect...

dark souls games actually helped me deal better with my problems, it showed me that its okay to fail, that i will absolutely fail, but if i persist i will win the fight in the long term and by then i will feel something unique to only me. a contrasting exhilirating emotion to all the pain ive felt for a while.
life will beat you down many times, but living is how many times you still pick yourself back up and move forward
im currently on a constant climb in my life, doing better in college, pursuing my hobbies and making money from it, have a seperate job, going to the gym. and i would like to give huge thanks to the souls games for teaching me something important

There's still a lot of good music out there that would fit, but I started listening to the entire Game of Thrones soundtrack after reading the manga, the final version of the playlist would have been + another 2 hours

Ironic that I decided to search and find this a few days after it was posted. Been planning on reading Berserk to some ambient music, but I didn't know of there were any uploaded.
I'm roughly in the first 100 pages of the Duluxe Volume 1, but stopped for the last few months until I can order Volume 2. I want to have the next volume on hand before blowing through it and not having the next book.
I envy you, I wish I had a deluxe volume too =0
@@muveeer Go for it. Volume 1 is only around $35 on Amazon, which is what I got.
But then volume 2 goes up to $44. The prices fluctuate around those ranges, depending on the volume. Sounds high, but I used to spend more on video games. The quality of the one I got seems great.
I have seen Volume 2 selling for around $10 cheaper on another site, but the estimated delivery was projected to be a few weeks.

I can't imagine reading such epic battles in complete silence like in Berserk. I almost cried at some points from the overflow of emotions, with music playing in the background hahaha
I use this playlist while reading a lot of mangas, their common point being that all of them are very dark, here are some exemples if you don't really know where to use it: Berserk, Vagabond, Fire Punch but Blame is my favorite with that playlist.
