    Not having to stack is such a time saver. Sometimes it’s necessary to do it and you just have to bite the bullet and get it done as quickly as possible

    I think I would add one more pallet down the center on top of the two on the bottom. This will allow more air into the pile from the bottom. I, also think that pallets wired together let more air in the pile than stacked wood on the sides. Woodyard is looking great!

    Mabe 30x10x6 feet, approximately.
    Using the UNSTACKED WOOD rule of 180 cubic feet for split 16" wood.
    Thats something like 10 cords.
    Not counting the stacked edges.
    .
    .
    For the box store splitters, i find replacement of an engine that spins around 3,100rpm with a engine that spins at 3,600 rpm shaves about 4 seconds off the cycle time.
    Then going to a 16gpm pump over the 11gpm pump does wonders as well.
    Can be near 8/10 seconds over the original 18/20 second cycle time.

    • @BGWenterprises
      @BGWenterprises Місяць тому +1

      I have very little wind or sunshine.
      So my rule is no more then 6 feet to the deepest part of the stack.
      With the pallets underneath, your holding to my drying rule of thumb.
