I dont think it can be until every vehicle is driverless. If all the softwares can communicate together the roads would probably be very very safe. But once humans are involved it falls apart imo.
Can I get a joystick steering wheel so I can drive the car myself. Being driven around by the AI. You start to feel like a UPS box. Or an Amazon delivery vehicle. Where is my remote control

If you are talking about China, Cadillac has cars built over there except for the Escalade. All Cadillac models currently on sales are still build in USA for North America use and not build for China.

The only autonomous thing I want driving my car is me! No thanks to these types of vehicles. Give me the V-6 or V-8 gasoline engine!

Last time I checked Cadillacs were no longer made in America. GM kinda sold their souls away IMO.
