The 7T Pro is pointless because of the 7 Pro. OnePlus should have just stuck to making two phones a year, but I understand that it had to make a cheaper to try and compete with the iPhone 11.
Yeah, they should do something like Samsung, where they have the S and the Note. In that case, the 7 Pro could have been the only phone released in May, since the 7 is just slightly better than the 6T, while the 7T Pro is only slightly better than the 7 Pro, while the 7T is so much better than the 7, and therefore, also the 6T.

3:51 Why would anyone like a 20:9 aspect ratio. When watching videos in landscape you're either going to have 2 black bars on each side as no cinematographer is going to film in 20:9. When in portrait mode sending an SMS your keyboard is as skinny as your skinny phone, your 18:9 or 16:9 phone keyboard is so much wider and easier to use. To the people saying that "The 7T Pro is pointless because of the 7 Pro". You clearly don't understand why the phone exists. OnePlus is not a company like Apple or Samsung whereby you release one major version with varying models per year and depending on when you upgrade is when you'll purchase that model. OnePlus among other manufacturers have (for a while now) released a major phone version in Q2 of every year. With a more refined revision released every Q4. This allows the people who didn't have the opportunity to upgrade in Q2, the option of upgrading to something which is still competitive in Q4. Of course and as so many have said, this means that there isn't a point in upgrading from one, to the other but that would be ridiculous anyway. Nobody in their right mind would upgrade a flagship phone every six months. The purpose of this phone is if you didn't upgrade in the first place!
So for all the 7 series users. I have the 7t pro but I came across some major software bugs. 1. Flawed AI proximity sensor issue. The screen randomly activates while on a phone call 2.screen Stutter while scrolling in apps like FB and Instagram when 90hz is activated. 3. Chrome Web browser, FB, Instagram refreshing every single time you switch during apps. I was wondering if you guys are witnessing same issues. Thanks a lot.
Curved edges of the screen are deal breaker for me. I don't see anything premium in them. They have only downsides in comparison to completely flat screen.
Questions: I want the best flat screen android T-Mobile phone. Please advise. Did I hear him say 7T is flat, Pro is rounded, and McLauren is rounded? :( So my only choice is 7T? I hate that notch in the screen.
My OnePlus 8 wishlist: 1. No notch, pop-up selfie camera, flat display. 2. No camera bump, bigger battery, thicker phone 3. Option in quick settings to switch between 60 and 90 Hz with a single tap. 4. No white bar at the bottom, as static bright white images are the quickest way to burn in that sweet looking amoled. 5. Camera is not a problem at all. Gcam makes a HUGE difference. It can roll with the best out there with Gcam installed. If you're too lazy to install it, that's your fault really. 6. A smaller screen sized version. That would make it the perfect smartphone.
I'm thinking about getting either the Note10+ which would be my first Note, or OP7pro. The T7pro is just unnecessary and I can't stand that bumpy camera on the OP7T. Thing is, I'm kind of over Samsung and its 2 year upgrade. I have the S8+ which I got with Nougat out of the box, then I got the upgrade to Oreo and Pie (with 5 months delay in both cases) and that's it. What's that like on One Plus? How fast and how long are you getting major upgrades for?
Thanks! I've never had a phone with a notch before. Have the OnePlus 5T now and looking at the 7T over the 7T Pro, but that notch! Can it be artificially hidden? I know some phones can do that. Is it as much of a distraction as it seems?
Only if you are a McLaren fan you are upgrading to 7T Pro from 7 Pro. Otherwise it doesn't really worth in my opinion. 7 Pro is beast and has everytrhing. For those who own older devices, both 7T and 7T Pro are amazing deals and the whole package include super hardware, performance and software updates! Nice video buddy. Thanks for sharing.
I don't understand why people complain when more phones are released. It has many advantages: 1. The previous gen gets cheaper 2. New technology trickles down faster (90hz from pro to normal models) 3. Latest tech for new buyers (855+ processor) Cons: 1. You lose bragging rights for the latest phone. (I think this is why most people are complaining lol, its not like OnePlus is gonna stop updates or anything)
I decided to get the 7T based on this video, against other phones at the time. Have to say, really disappointed by the camera performance. Capture speed is really slow (around 1 second from tapping the button to the photo being taken), and capturing faster subjects has been consistently poor. Wish you covered this sort of stuff.
Got a regular 7T. Glad I made that decision. Didn't really look into the Pro models, they are too expensive for a phone imho. Especially since they don't seem to justify a 150+ EUR bump in price.
So I've that every person on You Tube that's reviewed this has left out a flaw with the phone's OS. The system files take up over 24 GB and no at One Plus can explain why.
Greetings from singapore, i have been using samsung galaxy note 3 since april 2014. And using samsung A10 since july 10 last year. I am thinking should i buy oneplus 7, 7 pro or 7t? Which one have big memory storage, ram, and good camera?
I currently live in the states and am wondering, is there some way for me to acquire the OnePlus 7t pro? My daily driver has been the OnePlus 5t since it's launch, and I really want to upgrade. I knew that the OnePlus 7t pro was going to come out which is why I waited. I understand that the Oneplus 7 Pro is an option, but why settle for the non "T" variant if it's possible to get the best. Any response is appreciated.
I wanna buy the Oneplus 7t, but it has the round camera bump on it. The Oneplus 7 Pro has a cooler looking camera. Thats the only thing making it hard to choose 😣
I think imma go with the Oneplus 7t cuz even tho it has that camera bump i started looking at it as "unique". I love the flat screen and the notch isnt that bad. And it has that 90hz
I still love Oneplus 7T Pro Mclaren Edition full screen, I only hated notch on the Oneplus 7T. Pro gets curved edge, pop up camera, double storage & high resolution. I still prefer Pro.
I have a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, So of course being already spoiled by this phone the phone if the 7T Pro was even coming to the states, which it's not my choice would be the 7T Pro, but I'm already extraordinarily in love with my OnePlus 7 Pro 5G and won't be upgrading for awhile, but if I ever had to deal with some form of screen cutout again I just wouldn't be able to handle it. I just got my 7 Pro 5G 3 weeks ago being my first OnePlus phone, I'm never going to be able to buy another brand of phone again, I think the 7 Pro should get phone of the year.

And one plus seems far better in this 30 35 range u get a sooper fluid amoled display 90 hz refresh rate 30 t warp charge quality build small notch 20:9 aspect ratio Dolby Atmos and such a descent camera even comapred to battey drain both realme and OnePlus stands upto 6 or 7 hours in 90 hz noticingly one plus got 3800 mah than 4000 mah in realme
And much more even oxygen os is damn really amazing bro
Thinking between 7 pro and note 10, which is better choice?
7 Pro for smoother screen, speed, software and price, Note 10 for camera, battery, pen
I went to 3 t-mobiles and they killed the oneplus 7 pro apparently. I honestly love the notchless screen 7pro and the curved screen. Apparently they chose to kill or lower the price of the 7pros. I guess they killed it instead
Regular 7T all the way, I prefer the notch and many other things. BTW, hope the video quality keeps improving by software in the future
3:12 The flat glass of the 7T is what made this an easy choice for me...Oh yeah and also the sale that OnePlus has going on the 7T helped too.
5g lte? WiFi 6? Wireless charging? Watarproof? No, we are waitning for OnePlus 8!
5g and wifi 6 are early technologies, they most likely wont be widespread until the end of the devices life
they will most likely come out with a 5g version later on like they did with the oneplus 7 pro
both devices are water resistant, just not IP rated
Thanks I was debating between the two. I do prefer the flat edges but the 256 of space is cool. I agree with you about the price so I think I'm going with the 7T.
which model i shud go for, 7T or 7 pro plz suggest
One plus 7T is best
I love “super mega pro” big, flat, bezels less screen phones with unique design and bright color. One of the main reason I love OnePlus is also their fluid displays. OMG! I would have bought the 7t if and only if had a pop up camera and a different design of the rear cameras...
can i ask question what is the best phone for camera and gaming 7t or rog2?
Overall 7t but rog for total gaming
I dare OnePlus to create a tablet. I think it's time and they should take a cue from Microsoft's coming Surface Duo.
i had always wanted to see a OnePlus tablet yeah, not anymore but used to
oneplus's logo would look cool on a laptop
Thanks for a genuine comparison video....
Hi, which has better speakers and vibrations?
So for all the 7 series users. I have the 7t pro but I came across some major software bugs.
1. Flawed AI proximity sensor issue. The screen randomly activates while on a phone call
2.screen Stutter while scrolling in apps like FB and Instagram when 90hz is activated.
So my only choice is 7T? I hate that notch in the screen.
Yes really sad :( I have a Samsung with round edges and its a pain to find a suitable glass screen protection. All make the screen look cheap :(
Nice honest review! Maybe a long term coming out soon?
I am happy with my new OnePlus 7t 🤩
My OnePlus 8 wishlist:
1. No notch, pop-up selfie camera, flat display.
2. No camera bump, bigger battery, thicker phone
That would make it the perfect smartphone.
been thinking should I get the op 7t or just the 7 pro? coming from a s9 plus user.
Yeah, there's an option in the settings. It looks much better when hidden
Love op7t but hate the look it's back cameras!
Thanks for sharing.
is the audio recorded on the OnePlus? I need a good phone for recording audio
Oneplus mic audio doesnt seem good at all
I was actually thinking whether to buy OP7T .. now i am affirmative.. thanks buddy.
Where are the stereo speakers located? Both bottom or top and bottom?
Top and bottom
I don't understand why people complain when more phones are released. It has many advantages:
1. The previous gen gets cheaper
2. New technology trickles down faster (90hz from pro to normal models)
3. Latest tech for new buyers (855+ processor)
Cons:
1. You lose bragging rights for the latest phone. (I think this is why most people are complaining lol, its not like OnePlus is gonna stop updates or anything)
Would you recommend the 7T or the Note 10 plus?
7T the best
I decided to get the 7T based on this video, against other phones at the time. Have to say, really disappointed by the camera performance. Capture speed is really slow (around 1 second from tapping the button to the photo being taken), and capturing faster subjects has been consistently poor. Wish you covered this sort of stuff.
So does the 7t pro go up to 1000 nits of brightness like the 7t or does the 7t just go that high? That's definitely a big thing for me..
6:48 ...you begin to hear loud Swedish noises.
Aye congratulations 🤣
What im from sweden but i dont understand

Got a regular 7T. Glad I made that decision. Didn't really look into the Pro models, they are too expensive for a phone imho. Especially since they don't seem to justify a 150+ EUR bump in price.
I would have bought a used than a new
I use swappa
So I've that every person on You Tube that's reviewed this has left out a flaw with the phone's OS. The system files take up over 24 GB and no at One Plus can explain why.
Greetings from singapore, i have been using samsung galaxy note 3 since april 2014. And using samsung A10 since july 10 last year. I am thinking should i buy oneplus 7, 7 pro or 7t? Which one have big memory storage, ram, and good camera?
What about the quality of the in build microphone?
I'm a Gnome same
I think imma go with the Oneplus 7t cuz even tho it has that camera bump i started looking at it as "unique". I love the flat screen and the notch isnt that bad. And it has that 90hz
I'd like to see how the battery does with the screen at 60hz. 🙂
No much difference bro
additional 2 hours sot with 60hz, it has been tested
I have the google pixel 2 xl but looking to switch to oneplus. which one would you recommend?
I still love Oneplus 7T Pro Mclaren Edition full screen, I only hated notch on the Oneplus 7T. Pro gets curved edge, pop up camera, double storage & high resolution. I still prefer Pro.
This is the only reviewer I think is engaging to watch.
Agreed. I'm fapping too.
@@YouGotPropofol bruh. Lol
Is the 7T pro better than going for 8T in 2021? Looking for some advise
I took my 7 pro to the beach (2-3 months ago) and got a little saltwater on it, but it still works flawlessly and there's no issues
