My Xperia XZ3 does the same thing with accidentally muting yourself during calls. There's a big thread over on the Sony forums about the issue, and most chalk it up to a bad proximity sensor that doesn't always turn off the screen allowing your cheek to press on the mute button. Unfortunately, I've just had to get used to checking this whenever people start acting like they can't hear me (happens about 50% of the time I'm on a call), or if I remember to, manually hitting the power button to turn off the screen before I start talking.
7:11-7:14 From what I've looked at, it DOES use software to kinda do some guesswork but there are also pictures of the phone's front display where what appears to be an IR light around the right closer to the center, between where the play button and next vid button would be for UA-cam in portrait orientation. Teardowns of the phone too show that there are two small holes in the midframe showing the display layer as well which tells me that it most likely uses that hardware anyways but it doesn't go through since there's a honkin' screen in front of it.

People need to stop over exaggerating this shit.
Like, why are you even bought the phone, then?
Not bad decision, but even samsung decided to use snapdragons on their homeland korea now says a lot..
7t would've been a way better purchase. I bought the note because it had so many good reviews about performance and battery life but I didn't know that there was a disparity between exynos and snapdragon versions
On the subject of messed up video colors, will the colors be fixed when uploaded to social media? What about videos and pictures shared through Google Photos?
Just got a k20 pro and man I want that 7 pro, dat OIS and 3x telephoto! Gcam can cover the rest
Saw a Gcam on a OP and the OP camera was better.😂
Great video! What icon pack are you using? It looks great
Bought OnePlus 7t 10 days ago🔥
too late.. should've waited instead
Same here brought it at a discount
Has the Rec 709 problem with the video recording been corrected yet? If not, could it be corrected with a software update?
My friend bought a 7t and he was nicknamed 'Hello Motto'!
Which icon pack are use ? Cool
We need s10 plus review now!!
How's the vibration motor as compared to iPhones? I have a OP6 and looking to upgrade
Bought this phone two weeks ago and it's everything you need in a phone, for $450
Thanks for sharing price - I'm considering it now for even $499
Alchemist whoa that's Nord price.
Giving another UA-camr much more than just a cameo in your review - yet another example of Michael's gentleman nature. Thumbs up. And stay safe, my friends.
"Smells like a teen spirit" feelings in the intro sound theme...I liked it.
You are mistaken ; its not just software that do while calling... There is also an proximity sensor inside the phone... If you want to see that , have a call and point a camera into the top region of the phone , you can see the proximity sensor flashing there
Icon pack used in video: linex
:highfive:
Thank you bro
Where have you found the font or colors for the phone, camera, google etc?
Watching on my 7t. I have enjoyed this phone a lot . Can easily use it for another 2 years
I prefer android over iOS. I have iPhone X and oneplus 6 currently. I have decided to upgrade onto the android side. Which phone should I buy considering budget is not an issue. I will sell both my phones to finance the new purchase so I want to use a single phone which last me 3 years. I’m really drooling over S20 Ultra & it’s gorgeous display 🔥😍 Any other options?
Mr mobile can u address the fact that samsung sells the s20 series with Exynos and snapdragon chips but the snapdragon versions are noticeable better... I fel like i am scammed lol
They've been doing that for a few years. Other manufacturers do it too, the US gets a Snapdragon variant and other places get a different SoC. While the s20 is the first time the difference in performance has been this noticeable between the snapdragon and exynos, that doesn't make it a scam.
I think you would be up there with MKBHD, viewing figures wise, if you pushed out a bit more content. Any ipad pro 2020 content?
This was my dream phone 😭 but it costs so much than my month's salary that's why I got the Mi9T instead...
The Mi9T is a pretty great phone imo!
My brother got my dad the 6T around the time the 7 came around. And he loves it. He went from the Nexus 6P to this. And it's still getting updates while my S8+ isn't
I'm waiting for the OnePlus 8 series, so that I can buy OnePlus 7T at a lowered price.
Don't go for oneplus, try s10 lite...
@@nandamnr4777
Price is his decision criteria and I don't think S10 lite will be cheaper than 7T.
It's currently discounted to $499, if that helps!
@@nandamnr4777 m literally confuse between two plz tell me which phone's camera is best
@@nandamnr4777I wouldn't recommend the s10 lite over the oneplus 7t, since there are too many compromises that you have to take, like a plastic build, infrequent software updates and samsung's image processing is kind of... unnatural to me. Would definitely wait for the release of the oneplus 8
What app pack is on that phone that gives it the neon apps? those are cool
