I may definitely look into some of those for my ASD son. He is also like the Hulk. Lol. He’s put holes in our walls, broken beds, etc. He absolutely loves books, so he ended up with a lot of new ones for Christmas this year. They do tend to get destroyed over time, but he’s done better lately with keeping them in tact. He also loves to mimic everything he watches, which can be a challenge at times. But he watches a lot of books being read out loud (which is where a lot of his book requests come from).
The bendable accordain things are really easy to destroy I bought my great niece some and went in trash day after she got them , just how the toy is in this case I would say instead of it all to do with sweet strong Griffeth in his defense. Really like the sensory toys. Tfs.
Show sawyer that subtraction is a cousin of addition. 4 + 6 = 10 is almost like 10 - 6 = 4. Show him you are just changing the places of the number. Show him three problems and I bet he has subtraction mastered.
One thing you could look into is a kids Bluetooth speaker. It was now like 10 years ago, but my daughter had a Bluetooth speaker with a handle on top that could play Bluetooth or you could just load songs onto it like for night time. It had a maximum volume that couldn’t be turned up too loud.
They’re all so great!! You’re awesome you two, great ideas for the kids!! (I have something for you to do with your mum, just a small gift and different things for the kids depending on who they are, like books of stickers of numbers and letters for Sawyer.I didn’t get them sent in time for Christmas last year before you moved and I was wondering if there is anyway I could send them, like a post box.If not now, I will keep them in the spot they’ve been in this past year until you have one.But if you have one could you let me know. That would be great ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
It will get much harder.to find things unless they are able to but puzzles together. And read books. And ride a bike or skate board. Because toy toys wont be there about the age of. 7 or 8. !!
Try using the term "take away" with Sawyer for subtraction. That may make more sense to him. It does for me.

watching this again, could you do another one for 2022/2023 that would be amazing!!
Also, Lakeshore has great toys as well. They have stores in some states and you can also order online.
Thanks for the ideas!

You're just such an awesome Mama!!! The toys look great enough to even entertain me 🤣 Especially those suction ones!! Must get them!
Awesome video! Thank you.
I'm wondering if you have a list of the best sensory toys, maybe a top 10.
