    Nicely done. I've watched several Blender tracking tutorials thus far. They each have something interesting to add, but yours is fast and concise. Exactly what a beginner needs. Thanks for this!

    I'm trying camera tracking with my own footage for the first time so here are my questions (or ideas for your next tutorials):
    1. I just couldn't get the solve error to be less than 0.5 any clues (I did play around with the frames with most actions as you suggested)?
    2. Once you are done you get this huge cube with a plane in it, how do you get to easily switch it with something you have already modeled?
    3. This is not a question but a remark: your castle looks awesome!!!
    Thanks!

    • @WorldToAwesomeness
      @WorldToAwesomeness  6 років тому +1

      1. Solve error more than 0.5 but less than 1 should be good enough, I think. XD
      2. Just determine which layer the cube is then move your model to that layer. Delete or move the cube to a different layer. :)
      3. That castle is not mine! Link to where I got it and who did it is in the video's description. :D
      Hope this helps! XD

    A good overview, but folks really should learn more in depth about camera tracking if they want to get better results. The first thing that stood out to me on this was that the software created a point on the kids bike. That’s a big no no and should’ve been deleted before the track and solve. Remember, only use points on solid objects within a scene. Stuff that moves will mess up your track, even if it’s only a little.

    • @WorldToAwesomeness
      @WorldToAwesomeness  6 років тому +1

      There's actually a LOT of tutorials on Camera Tracking using Blender here on UA-cam already and I've linked some of what I think are the best ones in the video's description. This is just a quick pass on how to do it for those who just want to get to the steps without all the in-depth explanation.
      Also, that point that tracked the bike was deleted. It's when, in the video, I head over to the Graph Editor and deleted a curve( starts at 2:15 ). The Graph Editor is the best way to delete unwanted track points.
      :)

    Why there Is a proplem says (at least 8common tracks on both keyframes) I want to solve it

    • @WorldToAwesomeness
      @WorldToAwesomeness  6 років тому

      You have to make sure that there are 8 common tracks on Keyframes A and B. Which mean there should be atleast 8 tracks that are still active on both Keyframes A and B.

    • @ahmedaskar3052

    • @WorldToAwesomeness
      @WorldToAwesomeness  6 років тому

      Maybe you can export it to .jsx for After Effects. But I haven't really tried it and I no longer use After Effects. YOu can find an add-on for that in Blender through User Prefernces > Add-ons > type in the search bar "after effects" and just check to enable the add-on. Hope this helps. :)

    • @ciaranpmryan
      @ciaranpmryan 6 років тому

      I believe there are presets for the iPhone 4 and 5.
      I did some homework of my own and, from what I could find, the iPhone 6 and 7 are 3.99mm. When I did a track of my own and hit the refine button, the software narrowed it down to 3.46 or something like that. Not sure if it’s right, but the tracks all stick so I’ll run with it for now.

    Hi sir some questions here. I'm having an error saying "At least 8 common tracks on both keyframes and needed for reconstruction" Any solution here sir? Thanks :)

    • @WorldToAwesomeness
      @WorldToAwesomeness  6 років тому +1

      This error usually occurs, I think, when you have different track points on the Keyframes that you set for A and B under the "Solve" option. A solution for this is to make sure that there are atleast 8 track points still enabled or active on the Keyframes you chose for A and B. Or change the Keyframes A and B to keyframes that have common track points. Play through your footage and notice the track points that are still active, they are the "common tracks" that Blender is referring to. Hope this helps. :)

      Yung kulay pink ang lumalabas? Try mo check kung tama ba directory ng texture mo sa material. Baka na lipat lang yung texture or something. :)
