During the lockdown, I left the capital city and went to the seaside to spend as much time in nature as possible. I also tried to avoid sun exposure as much as I could.
wow your fish soup looked so good! i like your cooking videos and want to try a couple soon. love the bag with a key on it. take care friends and looking forward to the next.
I love your recipes and presentation, it's almost a meditation to watch! I was also delighted to see someone, besides myself, who is using the carrot greens! Keep it up, and greetings from Portugal 🌸🌲🌼
Thank you very much Ariadne Castro. It is important to use the most out of your vegetables, nothing goes to waste. Stay safe. Best regards from Slovenia/Croatia.
As always, this was both relaxing and inspiring. That looked so delicious - I’d be interested to know how good it tastes relative to a modern palate. We have made a couple dishes from ‘An Early Meal’ and they were incredible. I love that bag with the key design (8:39) - I’m sure I’ve even commented on it before.
Thank you very much Christen. It tastes very good. I generally love seafood. Maybe we added a bit too much of parsley for my taste, but hey, you use what you have. Which recipe do you like the most and why from An Earl Meal? Yea, the bag is made from an old hand woven woolen blanket. Take care.
Haha, you should see us then one month after this was filmed. This is what you get if you are constantly outside, and I have to say that I avoide being exposed to the sun as much as I can. Otherwise we are from Croatia. Stay safe.
@@RavensOfAsgard O alrighty! Thanks for replying, I really like your channel cuz of the enthusiasm for ancient Vikings. I have tried making one of your stew too, twas simplistic but nice 👍🏻

Dude, that Viking has one hell of a tan!

During the lockdown, I left the capital city and went to the seaside to spend as much time in nature as possible. I also tried to avoid sun exposure as much as I could.
I love the sound of waves in the morning.
It sounds like victory.
Bravo naši vikingi, zelo prisno doživeto. Kar povleče te da bi bil zraven in užival v prelepi pokrajini.
Najlepša hvala Kata. Pokrajina je res čudovita, za doživetje pa poskrbimo sami😉

Lepo mej.
This soup looks delicious. What fish was used for the soup?
Thank you Katharine.
Trigla lyra (piper gurnard)
Red mullet (Mullus barbatus)
Diplodus vulgaris
You can also use other types of fish.
Stay safe.
I wish I gonna made a viking style fish soup during the lunch
You should try it, it is very tasty and i guess good for your diet to😁
The water in the background is very discarding haha
Is there a recipe? Right before you poured a liquid at 7:40, i was thinking of adding a dry liquor of some kind.
First you fry vegetables in lard or butter, add water and fish. Boil for 20 min.
What dry liquor would you add?
@@RavensOfAsgard dry white wine
Yeah, that would be great.
@@RavensOfAsgard I did it, and the Chardonnay made a great addition.
Sounds great, I am glad you like it.
It looks like a korean food called "Haemool-Tang"
Have you ever had lutafisk?
Not excatly, but something similar, that we eat here locally. Our next video is going to have cod.
Little crabs grabbing waste 😂 quick of the mark
😁 I was so busy cleaning I probobly didn't even see him, otherwise he would end up in soup as well😂
did the Vikings used to fish like THAT on those dragon ships of there's
Something like that, it is a bit difficult to recreate properly, so this is mine interpretation. Thay also use nets and harpoons.
thanks that's just what i wanted to here
just saying what if there claw ships were at least as big as the Hansia tic cog
what no reply to the last one at the Bottom
@@lynwoodcrochet4064 sorry, I didn' t understand your comment. What exactly did you want to say about Hanseatic Cog?
They are probably the most tanned caucasian I've ever seen. Just by the exposed skin not the face, I could think they are at least Indian.
