That is an interesting propulsion sound, when the motor first starts the train off. Reminds me of those Jeumont propulsion systems on the old Montréal subway cars.

You could indeed say it's "slightly minor" as it is in fact a D Dorian scale from D3 to D5. Trademark of some sort of the Taurus engines.

Austria, Europa. In Boeckstein, the Tauernbahn car lock connects the Mölltal in Carinthia with the Gastein Valley in Salzburg through the Tauern tunnel and is an alternative to the Tauern Autobahn. The Tauern tunnel is 8370m long, the journey time with the car lock is about 12 minutes. Cars have been carried by loading trains through the Tauern tunnel since 1920. From 1960 to 2001, the occupants could stay in the car to speed up the check-in time, which has been prohibited again for safety reasons.

Der Roadrunner? Das ist der Signalton des Zuglängen-Zählers. Bei 1:30 fährt die Lok an einer Geschwindigkeitstafel vorbei ("9" = 90km/h), der Fahrer kann aber nicht sofort beschleunigen, da ja der gesamte Zug erst daran vorbei muss. Daher hört man ihn dort 2x den PZB-Schalter drücken; das aktiviert einen Countdown, der die eingestellte Zuglänge misst; sobald der Zug so viel weiter gefahren ist ertönt dann bei 1:45 der Roadrunner und der Fahrer weiß dass er nun beschleunigen kann.

Was genau meinen Sie im Bezug auf Dorfgastein? Die Einblendung ist bei Minute 11:11 zu sehen wie bei den anderen Stationen auch. Der Tauerntunnel zwischen Böckstein und Mallnitz ist etwa 8400m lang.

Das Video ist ein Re-Upload aus 2012. Auch die Umbaumaßnahmen bei Bad Gastein und einige andere Änderungen sind hier noch nicht zu sehen.
Man fährt deswegen links damit man sich eine Weichenfahrt bei Bad Hofgastein und Dorfgastein erspart da man dort nur am Hausbahnsteig stehen bleibt, da nur der barrierefrei erreichbar ist. Auch in Bad Gastein fährt man nur auf Bahnsteig 1 ein damit sich die Reisenden die Treppen ersparen.
Das wird seit vielen vielen Jahren so gehandhabt nachdem ein ehemaliger ÖBB Chef dort regelmäßig Urlaub machte und er die Koffer nicht über die Treppen schleppen wollte.

Wie viel Tonnen Zuggesamtgewicht kann eine einzelne ÖBB BR 1116 auf der Tauernbahn Schwarzach St. Veit Richtung Villach Max ziehen ?
Hab es jetzt nicht genau im Kopf, müssten aber um die 700t sein.

Tauernbahn (Tauern Railroad), here the section between Schwazach im
Pongau (47.318763, 13.154419) in the country of Salzburg and Mallnitz
(46.981183, 13.176473) in the country Carinthia. The border is crossed
in the long Tauern-Tunnel. Both countries are states of the federal
republik Austria. The route Salzburg(the town)-Villach is called Tauernachse (Tauern-axle) in the railroader-diction. Tauern is the "Alpenhauptkamm" (alps main range) at this region. The Alpenhauptkamm is the border between Salzburg and Carinthia here.

What is that road runner beep beep sound that is heard.
The train has run its length after the engineer pressed a button. Useful for example at railtwitches or at the side of the platform or after a slow bend.

Why do these trains sound like The Road Runner from Looney Tunes?
That's the train-length indicator. The driver can activate a counter that counts down the configured length of the train; when it reaches 0 the roadrunner sound is played. This is useful to know when the end of the train has e.g. cleared a section of restricted speed.
E.g. right at the start of the video that exit signal shows "proceed at 60km/h". At 1:30 into the video the loco passes a sign displaying "9", which means 90km/h track speed. You can hear the driver pushing the switch twice, which activates the distance counter. The driver then continues at 60km/h until 1:46 where the roadrunner sound tells him that the end of the train has also passed the speed sign. Only then he starts to accelerate.

3:12 Sind im Tunnel die Lampen kaputt? Irgendwie ist das unheimlich, so ins völlig dunkle zu fahren. Normal sind in den Tunnels Lampen, jedenfalls bei anderen Führerstandsmitfahrten.
Abhängig vom Errichtungsjahr sind verschiedene Beleuchtungssysteme verbaut, bei diesen etwas älteren Tunnels gibt es Orientierunslichter, bei denen es dann möglich ist die gesamte Beleuchtung zu aktivieren. Wir haben aber bei der Aufnahme auch bewusst darauf verzichtet, die Belichtung in den Tunnels anzupassen, um bei der Ausfahrt dann keine Überbelichtung im Video zu haben. Es kommt einem also real nicht gar so dunkel vor.
Bei den neueren Tunnels (siehe z.B. im Video Wien West - St. Pölten) sind bereits LED - Systeme verbaut, wo die Handläufe permanent beleuchtet bleiben.
