As an A's fan, sports history has showed us that it ain't over till it's over. Giants were right on the very edge to moving to Florida and then stayed in San Francisco. The Sacramento Kings were about to relocate to Seattle until ultimately staying in Sacramento. A lot of people thinks its a done deal but we will see. What I will say is that once those shovels hit the ground in Vegas (if they do hit the ground), I will no longer be an A's fan and I will no longer follow MLB. As an A's fan I am just holding onto every single ounce of hope
That's what we said about the Raiders. It took a Willie Brown, Jr. to save the Giants and get the new stadium. Oakland has no Willie Brown, Jr.
Stop using the Giants as an excuse the scenario was completely different from the A’s the owner of the Giants was actually trying to sell the team and had the offer from the Tampa Group

Although the As owners is a huge joke. The city of Oakland is absolutely in the gutter in terms of leadership.
They lost the Raiders, Warriors and As. Within a decade because they absolutely refused to budge on their stance of paying.

@@gillroygarlic3616 Well at the very least I heard Oakland may be guaranteed an MLB expansion team in the future. It's definitely not gonna make things right, but it's something I suppose if it ever comes to fruition. All we can hope for is that the A's and Raiders somehow fail in Vegas. Vegas should have been given expansion teams. Instead they stole 2 sports teams. What goes around comes around.
I quit the Raiders when their move to Vegas was cemented. Why support a team that doesn't support its dedicated fans?
The raiders moved to LA too. That’s what that franchise does. Wouldn’t be surprised if they end up in San Diego next.

After losing the Raiders, you would think that every last string would have been pulled to not lose the A's also. They don't necessarily need to be in Oakland, but I can't believe Gov. Newsom and others can't find another suitable area for the A's. You can't let this happen. The Owners must VOTE NO on the A's relocation to Las Vegas. P.S. - Many Las Vegas residents do not want the A's there. It's already "California East" with the rising housing prices. This will only make it worse.

I feel you. Sadly the MLB seems to only care about their bottom line and for some reason they believe allowing the A's to relocate will put more money in their pockets. I was very disappointed with the interview. Raj has the golden opportunity to interview Fisher and just lobs him softballs without any intense follow-up questions. Raj proclaims himself as an A's fan that is hurt by the A's potential move and yet, settles on the answers he is given...Fisher continues his campaign on lying to the fans and nobody is willing to hold him accountable when they have the chance.
Should’ve asked him if he would’ve considered a stadium in NorCal away from Oakland.
