Hi. This system is damaged by the impulse that comes from the washer information line. I have a video about this fault, the damaging impulse is probably generated by the engine controller (visteon).

Good repair, by the way, was the resistor next to the burnt chip ok? (It was clearly hot at some point, as the marking were almost gone)...
