i agree, i think tokyo ghoul is a great manga. You can even call it the best manga on earth, there is just one small problem. Tokyo Ghoul doesn't have enough FEET. I don't know about you, but I am a HUGE fan of feet. I like small feet, big feet, tall feet, short feet, clean feet, dirty feet, smelly feet, shiny feet, and feet of all colours ( because i am not a racist ), but Tokyo Ghoul has NO FEET WHATSOEVER. In my opinion, this manga is a 10/10 but the lack of feet puts it at a 0.1/10 for me. Sorry not sorry but that's just my opinion + the facts.
Honestly, Tokyo Ghoul manga deserves justice, anime just doesn't hit as different as the manga!! If you haven't read Tokyo Ghoul manga, I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU CHECK IT OUT!!
I’ve spent years trying to explain the utter beauty of Chapter 125 of Re part. Ishida using love scene to potray Kaneki truly wanting to live again is just storytelling mastery. It’s pure, not dirty Like these internet stupidoos believe. Beautiful story Tokyo Ghoul is, Life changing for me❤️ Great vid my Man, earned a sub here🤟🏻
Tokyo Ghoul has arguably one of the most beautiful and well done sex scenes I've seen outside of anything considered purely romance. Words aren't needed to show the bond between these two people, what the moment means to them... It's almost an insult to call it a "sex scene" because of everything it encompasses and all the underlying imagery.
i know that the anime isn't very good, but the anime portrays the takizawa writing his "suicide letter" as he called it really freaking well. i literally got goosebumps at that part in both the manga and the anime.
People just aproching anime the wrong way. Season One has flaws and shortcuts, but it's generally a good one. Season two is not and was not supposed to be a manga adaptation (that's why it's called root A), it's an alternative version of the events, if you treat it as an dlc xD, it's cool to watch. Season 3 is just broken and cut, but even it can be fun if you treat it as an audiovisualisation of your favorite manga scenes. And through whole seasons, the acting and soundtrack are just amazing. As I said, treat it as an addition to the manga, not an adaptation and you can have a fun.
@@aemeth5418 yeah, i saw tokyo ghoul before i saw the manga when i was 9 years old and i appreciate the anime a lot. honestly, although it's not the best it's still one of my favourites even though the manga is literally my favourite of all time.
there's definitely some issues with the plots development, especially in the latter half of :re when ishida's burnout with the series becomes more apparent. but i think as a thematic tale of kaneki's growth as a protagonist + its INCREDIBLY well developed cast and how they all learn to find something that keeps them living, the series is a fucking 11/10 masterpiece zenith of the craft my favorite chapters in the entire manga are :re 176-177, where kaneki and furuta have their final conversation as kaneki concludes with "the world isn't wrong... it just is. and i'll keep living for now, even if someday it will all never matter" and completely refutes his iconic opening line about his life being a tragedy. it's such a powerful means of showing just how far kaneki's come. plus i think artistically it might be the single best chapter in the entire series outright (barring :re 125 and the entire kaneki vs. arima rematch) i'm glad you made this video, a lot of people have seemingly forgotten about tokyo ghoul in modern times and that makes me sad since i just read it this year as well
The Kaneki x touka scene made me cry. It was so beautiful and even though it was just sex it felt like it was a climax to such a long section of the story and a release for both of the characters from their hardships. I completely agree with your assessment of that chapter and I believe anyone who says otherwise has no media literacy comprehension.
Tokyo ghoul is literally my standard for myself when it comes to the comics and stories I want to tell. I loved seeing the improvement of the artist and how everything was foreshadowed and planned, you just have to wonder how long the planning and writing took the author. Every character feels so real and it’s casual inclusion and respect to its female and queer characters is something I find underrated in the anime community. The ending arc some ppl called stereotypical but I found it to be a realistic cultivation of the systemic issues in the mangas society, and how all the characters just had the end goal to protect the ones they loved. ‘The world isn’t evil, it just is’ and the lesson that it’s everyone’s responsibility to take care of it and to care for each other. Kaneki is such a perfect main character. I like the chosen one trope the same as the next person, but I love how the series analyzes and deconstructs the notion of a hero or a messiah. Similar to the Hunger Games, where the main character is the protagonist for a Reason. That their life circumstances and things completely out of their control affect them just as they grow to affect the story. Also the fact that the idea of a ghoul hybrid is deconstructed almost immediately. That Kaneki and Eto and SPOILERS the other ghoul hybrids are just ones of thousands in the evolutionary process of a hybrid. That the suffering these hybrids go through are part of a systemic problem, not simply a curse. It blends fantasy and realism so beautifully. Each character has agency and realistically affect the world around them in a cycle of cause and effect. The story isn’t Kaneki and his Shenanigans that he causes, it’s a world constantly turning with numerous players 24/7. It feels like the story is always going, in between chapters and in the background if that makes sense. How they revealed the ghoul boy who is raised by a human mother, emphasizing that there is little difference in the psyche between the two species. That the more monstrous ghouls just as easily dehumanize humans the way the humans dehumanized the ghouls. Challenging the theory of biological strong vs weak and how simplistic it is and how we go against it but can also fall prey to our more carnal desires and darker sides. Tokyo ghoul is such a masterpiece of race theory, feminism, philosophy, storytelling and art as the objective and technical. A 10/10 series that I wished was given more credit than anime bros raving about its violence.
your take on chapter 125 was just, speechless, I was 15/16 when it came out, didn't really understand the meaning behind it, but now experiencing crap for a while, I get it. It's relatable and that deep sense of connection with someone you never thought you could have but have had is something everyone consciously or sub-consciously wants. Also the fact of not wanting to be forgotten and know that one's existence meant something, that they lived for a reason and that reason isn't something to be taken lightly. Neat analysis man.
Despite it flaws, Tokyo ghoul has a lot of meaning to me. Thank you for this video. I almost teared up listening to your reason why chapter 125 was beautiful cuz finally someone put it into words. Wonderful video. And that final message was wonderful as well
I love how they even made a black and grey morality between humans and the ghouls. Showcasing that they aren’t different themselves. They are also monsters in their own ways. It’s almost similar to masterpieces such as Attack on Titan, as most of the majority of Tokyo Ghoul were heroes in their own ways (excluding the true monstrous villains like the Wanshuu patriarch)
it was all dark honestly with exception of Anteiku Amon and Arima, maybe the roseeald got a bit brighter, but the way series were before the final chapters was full of tragedy psychopaths and fucced up society I think. they work the day to survive the night atleast as what the story focus on.
You explained exactly why I love Tokyo Ghoul minus explaining all the amazing symbolism in the story, The final part of the video made me tear up. I was in a bad spot in my life reading TG but seeing kaneki moving forward made me not want to give up as well. I was able to meet so many amazing people, even though I read Berserk and other manga, Tokyo ghoul +re will always be my number 1. Excuse me now I gotta reread 125 to cry some more
the "i am tragedy" scan is fake btw, thats a fan mistranslation. the original translation says "i wont get pushed back, ill keep moving forward. like a centipede."
@@yaboyfuze6193 you think "i am tragedy" fits in with his character better? i find that kind of strange because the whole point of that kaneki was to show us he'll keep moving forward to protect himself and what he loves, he came out of his depression, this is him on his 4th stage of grief.
All I have to say after the reread: Chapter 125 is fucking beautifull (+ the wedding). I love the art of Sui Ishida and how Sui Ishida is able to show emotions. Tokyo Ghoul has alot to say and alot to think about. Its my favourite manga and I think it will always hold a special place in my heart.
On god I cried so many times during the anime and I’m sure it’s the same with the manga, it just means a lot that Kanekis actually happy in the end and it isn’t a tragedy. He’s my all time favorite anime character after watching the anime and it’ll definitely be heightened if I read the manga.
This story is not only the first manga I've ever read... it is my favorite title, that made me devote my live to manga. After reading this story I fell in love not only with it... but with manga in common. My mother thinks that my love to manga is temporary... but she's wrong... no matter how old I become I will keep reading manga... no matter what. And I really hope that this story will get a good adaptation, which will follow the plot, have the art resembling to manga, and good music. I don't think my dream will come true, because anime studios usually don't make remakes... but I will hope till the end, that this dream will come true.
Kaneki hair turning Black and becoming the Black Reaper was so awesome and his fight with Eto and him turning Kakuja in his Black Reaper form fighting Arima was awesome
A couple months ago, after watching the anime, I completed both Tokyo ghoul and Tokyo ghoul:re and MAN I totally agree a masterpiece of a story and art and characters and everything
TG is my favorite manga, and I'm currently rereading the series, so I found this at the perfect time I'm very happy to see more appreciation for this great story in current year, makes me so happy
Touka is my favorite, you can tell she is the ghoul side representation of kanekis life like hide is the human side. And we see gradually just how much she has suffered In her life, and to have her move past that hatred and anger to the end of the story is just godlike
@@JayRath I am just too biased to well written heroines in manga and anime. but series with badly written ones turn me off. So Tokyo ghoul was a really great experience because she was very competent and important to the story itself
While the anime might not have reached the success it should because of not being faithful with the manga. There are several aspects of this series which despite that still became Iconic and worth remembering. Whether it's the art design, asthetics, music, atmosphere making etc. Tokyo Ghoul will forever be close to heart 🖤
For sure! The anime’s rendition of the Jason fight, while in my opinion definitely weaker the manga, is very iconic and has some great strengths. Same for the ending of Root A, which really was a fantastic scene.
While I do love both parts of Tokyo Ghoul I definitely can't agree with TG :re being better than the original. Tokyo Ghoul is a straight 10/10 for me while :re is more an 8/10 mainly because the final arc was incredibly rushed and the whole dragon stuff was so outlandish it didn't feel like Tokyo Ghoul anymore for the most part. The finale still had some absolutely amazing parts but yea... the moment Kaneki lost to Suzuya and Hanbe it kinda went down for me. The actual part with Kaneki conversing with his different incarnations in his mind was awesome tho and the part afterwards where he eats all these Oggai (I think that's what they were called) was raw as hell. I personally just didn't like how Kaneki turned into this massive Kaiju thing threatening to destroy the whole city. I think prior to that final arc it really felt like Tokyo Ghoul was getting a third part because so many things were still open and Ayato and the others exploring the underground seemed like TG was delving into completely new territories... Ishida was sadly burned out of TG tho and decided to wrap things up as quickly as possible which is clearly visible. Nonetheless both TG and TG :re are very dear to my heart and I will probably not forget the series anytime soon.
I read TG, amazing 10/10. I watched the anime after the manga and stopped at root A bc I knew how bad the anime for :re was. Also root A is bullshit and the first season doesn't even follow it's source material. I just straight up stopped with Tokyo Ghoul, I gave myself a cliffhanger bc well I sorta lost interest. But just outta nowhere I started reading it again but stopped at book 3 of :re but I sorta just left this empty chapter that I never got to finish and now I'm on book 9 of :re and I just can't wait to finally finish it after 2 years of a long hiatus. Tokyo Ghoul is a very beautiful masterpiece I truly love this story with all my heart it disappoints me that the anime just went with whatever the fuck they wanted and didn't see it's beauty and potential I guarantee you that it would've been anime of the year. Being said I'm so glad to have been shown this story it is truly worth reading. Also SKIP the anime trust me it is not worth it.
The one thing i love about kaneki is how this man did exactly what killed his mom he overworked himself into the point he was about to lose himself. He thought that he changed by becoming the one to hurt instead being the one to indure pain but really he turned into what his mom was. Working for others and saving others instead of saving herself. Kaneki looked to protect his friends and loved ones before he could even protect his own sanity just like his mom chose to work for her sister instead of taking care of her own family
Kanekis mom lost her husband but chose to protect or work for her sister in order to not be alone. And kaneki lost his sanity but chose to protect others like banjo and hinami and antieku.
i honestly hated amon in the beggining, but as the story went on his growth and seeing him expanding his view on the world made him one of the best characters in my opinion. the anime did him dirty
Ah, someone else who has become a tokyo ghoul fan, what a great day this is Also where do people find these photos of Sui Ishida? I've finally seen his face in a photo today and not 2 minutes later i open this video and there's another photo of him, like what? Also chapter 125 was done ENTIRELY by Sui Ishida, he secretly worked on that chapter alone cause he didn't want anyone to tamper with it
Such a beautiful manga, as much as I like to shit on the anime, at least we’ve got great soundtrack to read the manga with That chapter 125 also made me shed a tear ngl, no wonder Sui Ishida wanted to draw and translate it all by himself because he KNEW and made it to be a major chapter. It was so touching and beautiful and it’s hard, especially nowadays, to make a sex scene look so pure and just great art. This manga has a very dear place in my heart
I probably sound a like a broken record but I still heavily enjoyed season 1, but man my disappointment was immeasurable for 2 and the rest, I hope the recent 10th anniversary thing is going to be a reboot or a proper season that ignores the other crap that happened, the thing is I’m the type of person who prefers watching a show as opposed to reading, I’ve read the book for outsiders, enjoyed it but I enjoyed the movie more simply because everything was actually moving, I enjoy reading but I way prefer a viewing experience, that’s why I don’t see myself reading the manga for a while, but I’ve heard everywhere that the manga is a classic, this deserves an adaptation because I loved season 1, I know a lot of fans defend the first season and I can see why, it was great, I just hope a reboot can now be set in because of the anniversary, great video my boy
This is my first anime that i've watched and that was insane, like i was depressed for a whole week and I started looking for a similar anime on youtube because i can't get enough of it, i didn't even understand back then that the Anime was bad and got a lot of critics, i remember confused watching the first episode of Tokyo Ghoul √ A. That was the beginning of my anime journey.
I cried when I finished the manga; it was just so beautiful. Watching this video makes me tear up again. I love how you described that scene of them making love. The fact there was no dialogue made it even more impactful. Those two souls had finally become one. The manga just has to be my favorite. It was just so good. One also can't help but to feel pity for the villains too. Now, onto my essay. I would this video as points in the essay and cite you too. Thank you for making this!
I know I’m late to this video but I just finished rereading both Tokyo ghoul and RE. It was one of the first anime I watched and one of the first manga I read. And I appreciated the anime more than most (cause I hadn’t yet read the manga) but the manga is truly a masterpiece. I want to bring up something I rarely see people discuss and that’s the antagonists. I think from Mado and Amon to Jason and Aogiri to Donato the Clowns the Washu family and Furuta the entire cast of antagonists were great. The fights were so good because both sides had a reason to fight and it’s hard to have a good fight without a good antagonist. Uta being a clown is one of my favorite details and Furuta is still one of my favorite villains in anime/manga. Great video and hopefully one day Tokyo Ghoul is animated properly in full.
I LOVED this video, i hope this gets a lot more of views and likes, and hopefully some day people with forget the anime adaptation and see tokyo ghoul for what really is, not kaneki being a badass edgy bc of yes, but a story about finding the beauty of life even ''amongst the tears and blood''
Man! Thank you so much! You reminded me again, of the beauty and message of Tokyo Ghoul, of all its insane story, unique characters and the values of Kaneki -> my Values
Holy crap this channel is underrated but Unravel : suppose to be about sadness and hurtful and just sad again Memers : Mr . Peanut falling unravel meme
I coming back to this video when Iam done with the manga (again) and after I sciped trough the manga afterwards. Before I leave I want to say that you are a verry good creator and I also love the art of Tokyo Ghoul.
imo tokyo ghoul is that perfect that not even the anime ruined it for me. Just the best story ever told imo! such phenomenal writing and drawing.. mind blowing
Infact i read ending while i was holding it on after that island raid war and still have some chapters to be left. Just wanted to read ending so i can prepare myself.
Amazing video, Keep up the good work I think you will go places if you continue 👍👍. And btw thanks for converting me into the Manga because I really like the first 2 seasons but the rest I didn't like it that much and I was just seeing for the sake of finishing the anime.
I loved this series ever since I was first introduced to it when I was 12. It was the first series that was far more mature if you will than I had ever watched up till then. And I kept up with it till it’s end. Been thinking about re-reading it to catch everything I don’t remember now and what I missed before.
Tokyo ghoul re chapter 125 is a chapter that's make me surprised that i didn't have anything bad thoughts i am just so glad for both them that i can't explain it's just so..... BEAUTIFUL
I love kaneki so much because from the start we see him go from the innocent weakling human to a ghoul and try to fit into that world and then we see him get tortured and become obsessed with strength in order to never lose another person and then we see him become a investigator hunting down the same thing he became he truly is the only person who can live in both the human and ghoul world
Will have to put watching this on hold until I'm done reading :re, but I do already wanna say I actually liked the first story better, in terms of writing, pacing and as far as I can tell, the conclusion. I thought Kaneki dying like that, not even getting to the big fight, to saving his friends, just getting himself one-shotted in the sewers just after he sacrificed his best friend for fuel was such a good end. It was absolutely heartwrenching, and then bringing him back to life later kind of takes away from that a bit. I thought it would have been quite the concept piece to let your super-strong main character get killed right before the big fight because it turns out they're nowhere near the strongest character in the story, and so they were hopelessly "underleveled" in one of their encounters and died almost immediately. I love that. And I'm still mad at the fans back then for lashing out at Ishida over that.
You know, I've been thinking of reading TG again for the last year, but I kept putting it off. And your video gave me a new push to do it. I still wish we'd have got the horrible ending Ishida was hinting to, but I still love the whole story, and it will forever be in my heart
There's way TOO MUCH to say about TG, so just a few things I really loved and keep remembering them time and time again: 1. Chapter 125 - beautiful, warm, safe, rewarding, intimate, the absolute top of what I'd consider a "sex scene after a lot of buildup" to be. And I was so happy for Kaneki and Touka, because all I wanted was some happiness for them for years of reading TG. 2. Arima's finale - especially the astounding and powerful "The one who wanted to die the most... was the Grim Reaper himself". I just had no words, fellas. 3. The one chapter between Kaneki's loss to Suzuya and his transformation, where everything's so jumbled, all happening at once in his head, with all the different psyches arguing and throwing the blame around each other. That's what I'd call PEAK, respectfully. 4. Yomo's conversation with Hirako, while sipping coffee - maybe I'm in minority, but this is a single best scene of both of them to me. So context-heavy, so deep, but also warm and relaxing to read, making one reminisce and engage in nostalgy

my favorite chapters in the entire manga are :re 176-177, where kaneki and furuta have their final conversation as kaneki concludes with "the world isn't wrong... it just is. and i'll keep living for now, even if someday it will all never matter" and completely refutes his iconic opening line about his life being a tragedy. it's such a powerful means of showing just how far kaneki's come. plus i think artistically it might be the single best chapter in the entire series outright (barring :re 125 and the entire kaneki vs. arima rematch)
i'm glad you made this video, a lot of people have seemingly forgotten about tokyo ghoul in modern times and that makes me sad since i just read it this year as well
The Kaneki x touka scene made me cry. It was so beautiful and even though it was just sex it felt like it was a climax to such a long section of the story and a release for both of the characters from their hardships. I completely agree with your assessment of that chapter and I believe anyone who says otherwise has no media literacy comprehension.
I personally think that chapter 125 of Re: is on par with the “Wounds” chapters of berserk on writing romance
mad agree
Heavy agree
man this video made me cry I miss kaneki so much I hope he's doing good with his family😭😭😭😭
me and you both :')
Tokyo ghoul is my favorite manga and I was just in tears throughout the entire video 😅😅 bro you just reminded me how much I loved Tokyo ghoul
Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you man! Glad you could get the same feeling I did and share that with us
Despite it flaws, Tokyo ghoul has a lot of meaning to me. Thank you for this video. I almost teared up listening to your reason why chapter 125 was beautiful cuz finally someone put it into words. Wonderful video.
And that final message was wonderful as well
got recommended this banger today, definitely sums up my feelings towards the series as well. really appreciate this love letter to tg.
I’ve been really glad to see everyone resonate with the video and I’m glad you enjoyed as well dude
LMFAOOO i LOVE ur commentary. its so funny and u can actually feel the passion u have for the manga. i kin this video
Thanks, glad you enjoyed, I love talking bout this stuff bro for some reason
Agreed.
Attack on tittan is a copypaste of tokyo ghoul
@@ritaevora9430 No, it is not. Even if they do follow same stages of a hero's journey, they were still different.
@@cmimic7479 attack on titan sucks hard

You explained exactly why I love Tokyo Ghoul minus explaining all the amazing symbolism in the story, The final part of the video made me tear up. I was in a bad spot in my life reading TG but seeing kaneki moving forward made me not want to give up as well. I was able to meet so many amazing people, even though I read Berserk and other manga, Tokyo ghoul +re will always be my number 1. Excuse me now I gotta reread 125 to cry some more
honestly i feel almost identical to u and all ur views on tg the way u describe kaneki, amon, urie, etc i feel exactly the same great vid bro
Thanks bro appreciate it!
I don't understand how a studio is able to make one of the most beautiful chapters like 125, look like a google slide presentation💀
they’re capable of anything with an extreme lack of effort and enough waste of space
the "i am tragedy" scan is fake btw, thats a fan mistranslation. the original translation says "i wont get pushed back, ill keep moving forward. like a centipede."
honestly I feel the first would have fit white hair but the actual translation fits kaneki at that point way better
@@yaboyfuze6193 you think "i am tragedy" fits in with his character better? i find that kind of strange because the whole point of that kaneki was to show us he'll keep moving forward to protect himself and what he loves, he came out of his depression, this is him on his 4th stage of grief.
@@roserobin2047 no I feel it would fit better within the early parts of the story rather than when the mistranslation happened
@@yaboyfuze6193 oh i dont have an issue with that. i somewhat agree aswell.
Finally some recognition!! You have no idea how much i love this manga. I can never forget this, it will be always carved in my heart.
This is EXACTLY how I felt when I read TG and TG:Re thank you for doing this series justice with this review
Thank you for watching, you get me.
Agreed, I loved the zero fight as well as the Arima fight. Both absolute peak
@@JayRath the drawing and illustration is making me ask how are these artists so good and not famous
Finally, someone with a good taste of art
Beautiful video highlighting the series, thank you. I'm with you on :re, it deserves far more credit than it receives.
I’m glad you enjoyed and glad you agree, feel like it definitely does deserve more
Thank you. Just thank you. finally someone who got it.
Thank you so much for making this video, you are amazing.
thank you! You’re amazing
This is so true! Sui Ishida is such a genius and a great artist!
goated
you have no idea how long i've been looking for commentary that's as passionate as i am about this series
glad you finally found it
Uta and his gang were one of the things I enjoyed the most. They embodied chaos itself and they really gave another layer of coolness to the story
agreed
"Tokyo Ghoul is a masterpiec-"
*That's it. Subscribed.*
A couple months ago, after watching the anime, I completed both Tokyo ghoul and Tokyo ghoul:re and MAN I totally agree a masterpiece of a story and art and characters and everything
i’m in tears man this was the best tokyo ghoul video i’ve ever watched
i really love seeing someone talk about this series with as much love as i have for it
I really Love the Tokyo Ghoul manga and Ishida's works
Ishida was actually the artist who inspired me to be an artist
That’s awesome to here I’d love to see your work!
TG is my favorite manga, and I'm currently rereading the series, so I found this at the perfect time
I'm very happy to see more appreciation for this great story in current year, makes me so happy
Touka is my favorite, you can tell she is the ghoul side representation of kanekis life like hide is the human side. And we see gradually just how much she has suffered In her life, and to have her move past that hatred and anger to the end of the story is just godlike
touka is the goat
I loved the anime
Ya the show is shit on too much... like yes it's not as good ofc, but does that make it automatically trash? Not even close
Damn that’s funny I just read chapter 125 yesterday and I gotta say it’s a masterpiece
i honestly hated amon in the beggining, but as the story went on his growth and seeing him expanding his view on the world made him one of the best characters in my opinion. the anime did him dirty
agreed
Ah, someone else who has become a tokyo ghoul fan, what a great day this is
Also where do people find these photos of Sui Ishida? I've finally seen his face in a photo today and not 2 minutes later i open this video and there's another photo of him, like what?
Also chapter 125 was done ENTIRELY by Sui Ishida, he secretly worked on that chapter alone cause he didn't want anyone to tamper with it
and he fucking nailed chapter 125
This is a great video. Thank you for this content.
I agree with this! Glad to see other people who also loved the Tokyo Ghoul manga!
Well thank ya
Such a beautiful manga, as much as I like to shit on the anime, at least we’ve got great soundtrack to read the manga with
That chapter 125 also made me shed a tear ngl, no wonder Sui Ishida wanted to draw and translate it all by himself because he KNEW and made it to be a major chapter. It was so touching and beautiful and it’s hard, especially nowadays, to make a sex scene look so pure and just great art. This manga has a very dear place in my heart
It'll always be amazing in my heart as well
I can’t believe how amazing this video is. I cannot await future videos and to watch your content grow and evolve
Thanks man! I’m working hard on one as we speak
Dude this video is fucking amazing wow u really deserve a lot u did an incredible job.
I miss a commentary of furuta just saying
Thank you dude!
I love this video and Tokyo Ghoul with everything I have, it has helped me through so much I don’t even think I’d be here today without it
I probably sound a like a broken record but I still heavily enjoyed season 1, but man my disappointment was immeasurable for 2 and the rest, I hope the recent 10th anniversary thing is going to be a reboot or a proper season that ignores the other crap that happened, the thing is I’m the type of person who prefers watching a show as opposed to reading, I’ve read the book for outsiders, enjoyed it but I enjoyed the movie more simply because everything was actually moving, I enjoy reading but I way prefer a viewing experience, that’s why I don’t see myself reading the manga for a while, but I’ve heard everywhere that the manga is a classic, this deserves an adaptation because I loved season 1, I know a lot of fans defend the first season and I can see why, it was great, I just hope a reboot can now be set in because of the anniversary, great video my boy
I’m glad you enjoyed it so much!
My first anime and it still holds the number one after all this time
I know I’m late to this video but I just finished rereading both Tokyo ghoul and RE.
To think I never able to hate furata is very surprising to me
This video deserves so many more views.
I hope so too, the story is too good to be tainted by a bad reputation because of the anime
your quite rlly righ tho- ITS BEEN A YEAR ANDDDD IM STILL WATCHING EVERY OLD EPISODES (im addicted to it-)
tokyo ghoul is easily a 10/10 imo; my favorite manga of all time
F!CK, this VIDEO WAS JUST SO WAY BEATIFULL AS THE MANGA IT SELF. Thx man... you made me cry
This was a well put together video, good shit man
thanks bru
id say if the anime wasnt done so dirty, it would be in the Big 3 without a doubt
I’d say that’s a fair argument
This is probably one of my favourite videos I’ve seen on UA-cam what a masterpiece
thank you so much :,)
I want more Tokyo Ghoul 😢😢😢
tokyo ghoul re chp 76 says it all he is just an angel with that smile
Man! Thank you so much! You reminded me again, of the beauty and message of Tokyo Ghoul, of all its insane story, unique characters and the values of Kaneki -> my Values
Kaneki found the rabbit hole and smashed it.
Holy crap this channel is underrated but Unravel : suppose to be about sadness and hurtful and just sad again Memers : Mr . Peanut falling unravel meme
God dammit! I want to experience this story for the first time one more time!
me and you both
Beautifully said.
I coming back to this video when Iam done with the manga (again) and after I sciped trough the manga afterwards. Before I leave I want to say that you are a verry good creator and I also love the art of Tokyo Ghoul.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy your re-read
imo tokyo ghoul is that perfect that not even the anime ruined it for me. Just the best story ever told imo! such phenomenal writing and drawing.. mind blowing
dude made me feel sm emotion at the end
that’s what I’m here for
I loved the ending. Thankgod for it. I was ready to be depressed for weeks.
Infact i read ending while i was holding it on after that island raid war and still have some chapters to be left. Just wanted to read ending so i can prepare myself.
Amazing video,
Keep up the good work I think you will go places if you continue 👍👍.
And btw thanks for converting me into the Manga because I really like the first 2 seasons but the rest I didn't like it that much and I was just seeing for the sake of finishing the anime.
Thanks man! Glad I could convince you to read the manga
I was 13 when Tokyo ghoul had all its hype, damn i loved that time. Being a kid was so fun. The Manga was perfect to grow up with, what a piece of Art
You gotta cry while going hard. Depth perception is tricky though with all that hair over one eye all the time.
Re was def my favourite half of the story, its so beautifully made

I loved this series ever since I was first introduced to it when I was 12.
It was the first series that was far more mature if you will than I had ever watched up till then.
And I kept up with it till it’s end.
Been thinking about re-reading it to catch everything I don’t remember now and what I missed before.
Tokyo ghoul re chapter 125 is a chapter that's make me surprised that i didn't have anything bad thoughts i am just so glad for both them that i can't explain it's just so..... BEAUTIFUL
I like to think of the ghouls of TG as having beautiful body horror. The kagune and kakuja are such an interesting concept.
Ending killed it for me had no idea there was a part 2
This video perfectly depicts my feelings of Tokyo Ghoul 😁
There's way TOO MUCH to say about TG, so just a few things I really loved and keep remembering them time and time again:
