Thank you so much for doing this. Many of our biking friends have ridden RAGBRAI. I always thought it would be fun, but I'm not much of a camper. We have done multi-day rides, but always supported, and hotels. I am going to subscribe to see how the rest of the week went. Hope you had fun!
Tent 30 here if we are doing a PBV Check In 😂 My 2nd RAGBRAI and not my last. Travelled over from London UK and think it is a great cycling event like nothing else.
It was so fun!! I charged my phone and GoPro with my power bank, and after three days had to find a way to charge the power bank itself. With the pork belly ventures charter they had charging trailers so that was nice! When I rode self supported in 2022 I usually tried to find an outlet in the camping area, or I’d bring a phone charger with on the ride and find a charger in one of the towns and let the phone charge while I took a break! For the drone I only brought it out on a couple of the days and used it until the battery died!
Can I suggest a video of video of what you brought for supplies and what you learned and what you are going to bring next time. Also from the perspective of a solo rider. What you liked what you didn’t like? Make your title more broad, so someone who is searching for information and not just ragbri specific does that make sense
@@cardinalcrimes at least that what I do a lot on UA-cam. If I haven’t done something before or need information I search for it. The more broad you make than people might find you easier

Enjoyed Day 1 of your trip without the sweat. Good Video.
Noo.. I would like to do RAGBRAI next year! Safe travels! 🎉
Thought we’d see ya, we left a little later day one with the short mileage. Nice video,

I could never do RAGBRAI. Too many people, too much "noise". Looks like you had fun, though!
It is definitely VERY busy! I did it completely by myself in 2022 and had fun finding a quieter corner to sit by myself and people watch 😂
Looks like so much fun in the towns! How do you charge stuff? Phone, camera, and drone. Can you charge everything with your power bank all week?

@@cardinalcrimes cool. I was wondering how you would charge the power bank. That’s cool the charters offer charging stations.

Thank you!! I definitely will make and post one!

we were probably neighbors at Pork Belly camp!
Probably!! I was in tent 410!
@@cardinalcrimes I was in 61. Son in law was in 51. What a great week!
Nice video, What bike are you riding?
It’s a specialized brand one! I’m not much of a cyclist so I honestly don’t know much about my own bike 😅
@@cardinalcrimes I love your honesty. Bikes are for fun, you know what you need to know.
