Thank you for showing us the boxes to builds Jim. A lot of good things in here to pay attention when one is attempting to do this. Great Job! You are a true craftsman who takes pride in the product that he turns out. Old submariner's never die...they build golf golf clubs.

I'm not a builder, but I always learn some cool stuff in these videos, JIm. I just noticed your cabinet "handles!" Nice.

PXG iron heads are designed to take a .370 shaft, which is why the PXG specific “centering ferrule” is required. You can also use .355-.370 shims to make up the difference and allow the use of a standard or custom non-collared ferrule.

Again, awesome content ! I'm 65 w/an iron swing speed of around upper 70's ? I was fit(via the optimizer) w/ project X 115 shafts w/mixuno 919 HM's 2 years ago. I think because of my quickness in my down swing(can't think of the terminology right now). 1/2" long and 1 degree upright. 5,6,7 are 2 degrees upright. They sometimes feel like bricks in my hand.☹️

Jim, you wouldn't happen to have a old set of Titliest 695 MB's around would you ?
My storage was burglarized and I lost my entire set of clubs and all my equipment.
    DAMN THE LUCK !
I really liked those clubs and would like to find another set with the Dynamic old s 300 shafts.
Let me know if you come across a set of these or if you know anybody who might have a set and looking to get rid of them.
Thanks for all the video's, I really enjoy you content - very thorough and good instruction for those of us who would like to start club making. I'm sure I'll be seeking your advice in the future.

With the grips being as heavy as they were, how much weight did you need to add to the tips to get the correct swingweights? Also, were the irons coming from PXG 3 degrees strong? Is that a manufacturing error or were they used heads that had been adjusted. Great work as always!

Great job Jim. Did the used project x shaft end up the correct playing length or did you have to adjust them. Thanks Mike.

I had to adjust them slightly not bad

Hey Jim I have a question for you, do you have any tips on getting old epoxy out of the hosel for previously shafted iron heads? I have reshafted my own clubs before and I normally take a drill bit steel brush to get the old epoxy out but is extremely time consuming. Was just wondering if you know of a easier way or a chemical that can be used to soften up the old epoxy other than heat. Thanks! Keep the good content coming!

I would use a standard wood drill bit designed for drilling holes in wood, make sure its narrower than the hosel hole and go to town, once the worst of it is out you can try your brush bit, and then experiment with the shaft to see if theres still epoxy in there

How much for a build if I send the shafts and grips?

The 0211 look like sweet heads, too bad you can only order them with the Elevate shaft, of a really inflated upcharge for a dynamic gold.

What is your suggestion for the best cart bag to protect clubs.

George there are plenty of great bags. I am a sun mountain dealer so I have to go with them the C-130 is always a top pick

I play 2” long irons I play a regular size grip I do not wanna back weight the clubs are used to have your grip what is the lightest iron heads that are made modern times or a little older I hear there might be a beer series head that weighs less is this true. Or can you use a junior head or women said they would weigh less?

Why did they invent collard ferrules? I use to do club builds several years back and the shafts fit in the club and it was tight.

they're usually put in graphite shaft builds, it creates a stronger bond, and less of a shear point, which means it's less likely to snap at the top of the hosel

At 2:45-46, looks like maybe a white paper with build instructions hiding in that non-box package before it gets tossed aside 🤷🏻‍♂ maybe I'm seeing things #latenightyoutuberabbithole
