    Great video Jim, nicely explained. Think PXG are good quality clubs, I like how they make them . Tnx. Chris

    I use an 8 iron in the S400 to softstep my wedges, 9 and W shafts are the same length...could be the same with the tour V if they are popular for that reason.

    Maybe i missed it but i didn't see an example of what you do when the flow is not flat. i assume you spin the shaft a little until it is but which way. i guess try both ways until it's right.

    Great content as usual Jim. I’ve learned a lot from you. What brand of laser do you use for your oscillation test?

    Great video as always! I have a question, I bought some 3M 810 epoxy and used it to put together a club. The next day I checked the epoxy on my mixing board and although the epoxy had set there was a "slimy" film on top, is this normal? Is my club going to stay together? Keep up the great work, thanks Jim.

    When I reshafted my 0311T gen 3 PW I realized there was a TON of gunk at the bottom of the hosel. I also had to use a drill bit. It seems like there is a “ring” at the bottom of the hosel. Is that what you saw? I swear where I drilled out the epoxy it was below the ring level but still not drilled out enough… afraid to keep drilling at it though, don’t want to get too far

    Great content Jim. Question: How many times has the FLO process shown you something wrong? Can you do a video, or have you done a video on the shaft not right? Cheers.

    Hey Jim, I'm having a set built at Golfworks (Canada). Does their process of building clubs as elaborate as yours? Or do they just pump out as much as they can? Just stumbled on your channel a little while ago and find all that you do fascinating. Cheers 🍻

      I cant tell you how the GW up north works to be sure. I am a bit more involved than the local one here.

    Jim, What would you do if the frequency did not progress properly through the set?

      if tapered tips I cant much. If all i did was tapered tip builds and repairs. I would order about 20 of each and sort them accordingly.

    Jim, Are you saying that if I change my current PXG graphite irons to a different flex, I cannot just use a .370 tip shaft with a regular ferrule or do I have to purchase a .355 taper tip shaft using the PXG collared ferrule? I want to switch my irons from regular to senior flex. Thanks

    Why do you not blow on he Pure grips. Thinking of trying them. Have you seen issues with them moving?

    • @McGolf
      @McGolf  2 роки тому

      I didnt want to give the sense in the video one was better than the other by going the same thing. Their grip guns was very similar, the cup was shorter

      I have pure grips blown on. they don't move at all. it's how the manufacture recommends. i am now hooked and won't own any other grips

    I don't understand the significance of spining if you orient the head relative to the FLO. Why bother with the spine?

    • @pgowan357
      @pgowan357 2 роки тому

      I was confused about this too. If you are using FLO why bother to find the spine? Or is this just to make the FLO process faster? You would already have an approximate point?

    • @I1isterJLC
      @I1isterJLC 2 роки тому +1

      Because the spine is the strong plan of the shaft. The FLO is not necessary on the same plane. They are two FLO plane, perpendicular each other. So if you combine de strong plane of the spine and one of the FLO plane which is closest, so you know the right orientation

    i don't agree with a F.l.O.
    from so high up the shaft, but truely it is just a psycholigical thing anyway....matt with txg proved that.
