The weird thing is that this is the only gameplay video i even tried to watch because i want to avoid spoilers whilst playing myself, i teust kevin to play in such a way that ill have 0 idea about the actual game
It's actually pretty cool how Kevin playing this game in mostly non-intended ways is in fact a testament to how well the game is made. You really CAN solve the puzzles whichever way you want to.
He played it more intended than me.. I missed every single cave on the island. Yes, every single one. I don't know how I did it. I was like "wow, everyone else sure is great at finding these secrets" and then I realized that it was the intended path. Minecarts? Haven't seen a single one, and I'm starting to activate a good few towers.
When i did the first shrine i was like damn . Big brain energy. Till i found the other shrines. They outdid themselves with the challenges and possibilities. I love it
"I'm just playing a different game to everyone else I think." Kevin's UA-cam career in one sentence. He always finds such new and interesting ways to explore games and that's why I love his videos.

please play more of this, your ability to be unpredictable will allow for some crazy scenarios. please dont just make 1 or 2 episodes. this would be a great series please.
I love how all of the disaster in this game is basically because Zelda didn't listen to her father. All she had to do was NOT go under the castle, but nooooooooooo.
Kevin and RT solving the puzzles by completely unintended means is the funniest thing to me. The gluing mechanic of this game is ridiculously broken and I love it.

His botw vid was the thing that made me play botw and loved it until now. (I used to only have played OOt and TP) I'm guessing he doesn't wanna have problems regarding copyright with Nintendo so he avoid big IPs like Zelda and Mario.

As cool as it is that kevins voiceover gets muffled or reverbed depending on whats happening on screen, i would have laughed my ass off when it just cut to indistinguishable bubbling and gargling when he jumped in that water initially
My favorite part of this game is that in a shrine with a ball I can just stack some things on to it and make a really long thing, grab the bottom and push the ball to were I need it to be, in the scoop shrine, you need to scoop a ball, I decided to just stack them and move them to were I needed, always fun

I like to imagine Kevin just makes a goofy video, then the instant he stops recording, he becomes a 200IQ Stoic Speedrunner and just finishes the game perfectly.

Kevin's voice being muffled when underwater in a game will never get old.
It's my favorite "small" feature he does, he genuinely cares about his community immersion
or echo-y in some places too! its such a nice touch to the videos
he even did it for the "bye for now" outro for the first time ever
