In the original Mega Man, Robot Masters don't drop health pellets when you defeat them in the refights. The same holds true in Powered Up, except they pack all of them within the same stage! Things definitely get tough in this one even if you're just trying to get through it normally, let alone without trying to be hit at all like we've possibly been doing.
The only thing to worry about after that is yourself as Copy Robot has every weapon that we've won at his own disposal, and unlike the original game, he'll switch to whatever he wants whenever he wants. There is a bright spot to this, and that's that you can manipulate his AI very easily. We'll be doing that since desperate tries at a perfect run call for desperate measures!
Next time will be the final time in our New Style run of Mega Man Powered Up, but let's go back and beat down our bad self a little more for all the trouble his stage caused me first, all right? All right.

I think it is sort of a reference to rock erosion which is a stretch but when ice destroys fire it kind of makes sence as they will both be stretches
What counters Gutsy in Old Style? Hyper Bomb, right?
Too Much Editing yep. Gutsman is weak to the bombs, but seeing as he can move and jump around a ton he’s actually pretty hard to hit.
Actually, there is a bit of a pattern I've noticed with Copy Robot's Hyper Bomb. He'll throw another bomb the moment the first bomb he throws explodes, so jump the bomb when he throws it at you and when it explodes.
Why is copy robots explosion so satisfying?
If you don't think that Ice Man is SUPER adorable in this game, then there's something wrong with you

Wily Files entry 3: Copy Robot and Megaman?
Wily has had the ability to mimic Robot Masters with his advanced technology. He created copies of all the Roblt Masters and whoever fought them all! He also built a fake Mega Man that wears a purple scarf and tried to get the cured Robot Masters to rejoin Wily!
Light Files entry 12: Dr. Thomas Light
Dr. Light, former partner of Albert Wily, was a good person who created the Robot Master’s personalities. He was also willing to turn Rock into a fighting robot, so he created the Mega Buster.

And then the zero series throws that out the window with fire>ice>lightning>fire. Seriously how does that even work. I guess it'll make sense in terms of electric circuitry due to the relationship between temperature and resistance but even that is flawed logic

PPSSPP was the emulator used on my computer even though I own the actual game and PSP handheld while Camtasia Studio 7's Callout feature is how I do those text boxes. I'm pretty sure software like CamStudio and even Windows Movie Maker also lets you put in text, but I'm used to Camtasia at this point.

I have a video on that fight from the Challenge Mode part of the series. It's not too bad, but you have to understand how he counters your movements is all. I'd say to give it a watch.

Not really; that Copy MMX guy was made by Ciel, as for this other copy, Copy MM was made by Dr. Wily. One thing is for sure for some odd reason whenever Megaman is copied, the copy always behave like a raving lunatic and thinks he is superior to the real one.

Powered Up's New Style mode changed the weaknesses around a bit since they added two new bots for it.
Old: Cut > Elec > Ice > Fire > Bomb > Guts > Cut
New: Cut > Bomb > Ice > Fire > Oil > Elec > Time > Guts > Cut

Copy Fireman's "WOO HOO!" reminds me of Homer Simpson.
I found out about this boss through some crossover fan art.
It was a title screen for "Five Nights At Wily's 2". There was Mega Man staring horrified at a clone of himself. The copy had claw-like fingers, emotionless eyes, and a smile of jagged teeth.
One of the commenters asked why he's so freaked out when he's fought his doppelganger in the past many times.
My answer is "none of his doubles have ever been that creepy" then I thought "maybe it was supposed to look creepy but it was impossible to render with the graphics"
