I find it quite interesting how Wily actually used the robot master weapons in this fight. I don't think he has ever used the weapons himself in the games.
In the Powered Up continuity Mega Man scared Dr. Wily straight. That’s why they never made a sequel. That or it’s because Capcom released this on the PSP.

There should be a fan remake of Mega Man 1 where the tank phase is a first phase to this boss fight while the two phases from the original are second and third phase respectively.

He then created Wily Machine number 1 when he realised Mega Man was coming for him. Light Files entry 12: Timeman and Oilman? Last I remember, Timeman and Oilman weren’t in the story! Just Gutsman, Cutman, Elecman, Bombman, Fireman and Iceman! Where did they come from? Are they some sort of memory altering parasites? I’m just really confused. Also, the Robot Masters has different weaknesses! I don’t know why these memories were changed.

Just finished your wily stage playthroughs. Normally dont have a tolerance for things like this but i really enjoyed your annotations during the video, nice job.
You can tell what weakness to use from the color the top of the machine is. You can also pause the game if cycling through weapons is taking too long. It's tough, but it's still doable for the most part.
Did you beat the entire game on normal mode? That counts for it. If you did, it could also be a Mega Man-only thing, but forgive me. It's been a looooong while since I did this again now.
I can now confirm that it is a Mega Man-only thing. You have to play through the game as a form of him to get the unlockable. Found this out by looking at GameFAQs after my hard mode run was done as another character. Oops!

Capcom was gonna make Powered Up 2 but due to poor sales (why did yall leave it on the psp) they didn't make it.
I hate his ramming attack. His ramming is like unavoidable unless your lucky to choose a right weapon on him.
