Important note: use chest boats, not regular boats, because if something enters the boat along with the zombie, the zombies hitbox will be pushed to the front, causing it to kill/infect the villagers. for me the farm worked fine for tens of hours, then suddenly a cat entered the boat along with the zombie, killed the villagers (technically nothing should be able to enter the boat but tbh its just 8 wood to keep your 3 villagers ~more so your sanity~ safe) edit: the farm periodically stops working, if you let the villagers sleep once it starts working again, and to do that just block off the zombies line of sight at night, this happens because of the spawn conditions for an iron golem, so id suggest building a more permanent farm later on rather than this one a bunch of times Edit 2 : this should rarely be needed, but if you plan on afking near your farm I also suggest you put a copper rod nearby, the chances are low but its bound to happen at some point
My little advice to you who built this farm: immediately make Armorer villager, zombify him and cure for perma trade 1 iron = 1 emerald, you won't find better emerald generation than this one. I've tried a lot, like trading paper for iron (disgusting method which takes a lot of space and time for sugar cane farms and gathering or farm making) pumpkin-melon trade (pretty resources consuming and noisy farm) etc
another way to make it slightly easier to get the villagers into there is by ringing the bell and because thats the only beds they will all go there at the same time
okay guys, i found a way to fix the golems stop spawning, just let the villagers sleep for one night. the easiest fix is to put a trapdoor in front of the zombie. if you want to make the villager sleep just shut off rhe trapdoor in the zombies face in that way the villagers wont see the zombie and theyll be sleeping
They will indeed sleep but on my side, the golem no longer wants to reappear. I tried to sleep at the same time as them or wait for sunrise so that the villagers wake up and I can open the trapdoor but when I do, only one class but in the evening, everyone runs but still no one trace of the golem
The farm is really good and awesome but if it don't work for you then check on these mistakes 1.before bringing in the zombie make sure the villagers are left alone for one night. 2.if there is an another iron golem then kill it 3.try to check for an underground cave cuz golems can spawn there and it will break the farm so if there is an under ground cave or space then spawn proof it 4.the voat should as close to the beds as possible otherwise zombie will die for this after placing the boat sit in it and drive it forward until you are sure that you can't move an inch forward
You can check if there is any other entity sitting in the boat too as it pushes the zombie a bit further btw a creeper decided to blow my farm today and now i have to rebuild it 😢
EDIT: I think I figured it out. You have to be sure there are no caves right underneath the farm and shoveled path area. They can mess up the golem spawns. I had some spaghetti strand cave a few blocks under the farm and filled it in, and after 13 hours the farm has run without issue. It still yielded "only" about ~230 iron ingots an hour. Maybe it goes faster in Java 1.21 to get the claimed 330+ but I haven't tested that. Also I don't know how much exactly underneath the farm needs to be filled in --- Tried making this in Java 1.20.1. It mostly works but I've been unable to leave it unattended for extended periods of time. Usually within an hour, a golem somehow spawns somewhere outside the water pit and just stands against the wall of the villager/zombie enclosure. I tried shoveling paths even further out from the 19x19 block space but it didn't stop happening. Sometimes the drops get burned up and I end up with around 200-220 iron ingots an hour if the golem spawns as expected the whole time. Thank you! The farm is working like a clockwork. I built this farm nearby my home and already have 2 full stacks of iron blocks in my storage. Also you can turn farm off by placing trapdoor right in front of zombie's face.
I am back! So i build the farm yesterday and got few notes: The farm is very easy to build with only basic materials. Regarding the productivity - in my case it is slightly lower than claimed (got 300-310 iron per hour). So I decided to build the second (same) farm next to the first one, getting over 600 iron per hour, which is sufficient for both trading and crafting. Thanks. Keep going!
@@StarCit Hey! Let me explain in more detail. When building the first one I kinda started from the end and first made the 19x19 square to get position of the farm. Then you fit all the stuff inside as mentioned in the video. I build additional wall/fence around the farm with gate on each side for easy access, so you have in total area of 21x21 blocks. Now if you imagine a line connecting the zombie in boat and the hopper...make a parallel line to this one either to left or to the right which is 19 blocks separated. This is where your second farm will be. Now repeat the full build up process and in the end you will have two identical farms next to each other doubling the production. Few extra tips from me: you can rearange the output to underground tunnel: destroy the hopper and chest, instead of the hopper, place hopper aiming directly down, dig deeper and connect outputs from both farms into one chest (or your preffered storage system). Make sure when removing the hopper to first pick up the lava in bucket, because as you destroy the hopper, the sign will break and lava will start to flow below. If you want it to be super fancy, you can add item filter to separate iron from flowers and those can be directly composted to get bonemeal. This however requires trip to Nether to get some Quartz (needed for comparator in filter). And the final note from me: based on my experience the golem can sometimes spawn outside of the farm area - it happens on the side where the lava hole is closest to the farm edge (2 blocks separation is there). Easiest solution is to spawnproof 2 more lines of block behind the farm edge. Placing half-slabs or dirt road works fine too. You can make the road all around the farm to make it look nice.

No way this took you over 2 hrs💀 I’ve had this farm on my world for over 2 months, even decommissioned it for a time then rebuilt. That’s a you problem try again
if you have any issues with iron golems spawning in the walls and getting stuck you can put some glass on the floor on the external level of the spawning plateforme (right next to the walls, under the water.) ; this way golems can only spawn next to the lava and get killed without any issues.
Getting a zombie is hard, pro tip, before doing this put 2 villagers in a boat and cover them in all directions with non transparent blocks like dirt so they cant be attacked by mobs, then remove all beds AND JOBS, then get THREE OTHER villagers into the farm, u can use the 2 saved villagers as breeders, the rest of the villagers can be used as breeders
i don't know if this has an effect but you might want to consider it, when i built it facing any other direction than east it wasn't producing its max potential, but when i built it so the zombie in the boat is looking east i was getting a significantly more amount of iron per hour.
Farm works fine for the most part. Only thing i can say about it is after a little while the golem might spawn on top the buttons somehow. I built it exactly too (except i used a chest boat instead of a normal one) so im not sure why they would spawn there. Edit: I put 3 trap doors in between the zombie amd villagers to “turn the farm on” but i think i saw the golem spawn on top the trap door.
Important note : the version you play on will not effect the spawn, I used 1.20.6 and it is working perfectly fine. If you are building it in near a village you must cover the farm with fence, because the villager will go in the hole and die. I afk for 10 minute and got 57iron so times 6 is 342. This farm is very easy and good. Recommend it!
It is important to note that your building blocks should not be flammable, the lava is close enough to burn down your farm. Mine burnt down a couple times and I lost a few villagers.
Ok for anyone that has no iron golem spawns you can place the 3 beds in the ground of the two blocks infront in the villager room and place the barrels infront of the chest boat (make sure to put above slabs and buttons above the zombie to prevent it from burning)
Eğer normal bot yerine sandıklı bot ve yerleştirirken 3-4 defa S tuşuna basıp geri çekerseniz hem zombi köylülere hasar vuramayacaktır hem de farm saatlerce çalışacaktır ( Zombinin önüne 3 tuzak kapısı koyup ortadakini açarsanız köylülerin yaşaması daha garanti olur ve istediğiniz zaman farmı durdurabilirsiniz)

Me too I make exactly like him but not work
JAVA THIS IS NOT ON BEDROCK JAVA
why
why are my villagers dying inside?
You might have placed the slabs on the wrong block check rq
@@SrijanGupta-dw3lmI placed them right tho
@@randomuselessguy3009 You are playing on Java right?
@@SrijanGupta-dw3lm turn out the boat placment was bad
@@randomuselessguy3009 ohh aight it's all good then
i don't know what i'd do without you
I slept and when I came back all my villagers were dead. Useless farm and two and a half hours of my time wasted. Thanks 😊
You built it wrong then. Mines working perfectly. I suggest using a chest boat instead of the regular boat.
No way this took you over 2 hrs💀 I’ve had this farm on my world for over 2 months, even decommissioned it for a time then rebuilt. That’s a you problem try again
skill issues
PLEASE HELP ME! the third villager won't sleep...
there is nothing we can do: Napoleon
@@markopopovac2531 it’s not October 2023 bro
just place a trapdoor and slam it into the zombie face
Works great! Thank you 🎉
Still works as of mid September 2024

Thanks bro it's perfectly work 😊
Bro this is so useful. After making three times in different worlds, I have learned now. Make my chest full in 4 days❤🎉
Thank you very much it's very easy and awesome iron farm ❤❤❤❤I like it❤❤❤❤
It worked for me. Much thanks
if you have any issues with iron golems spawning in the walls and getting stuck you can put some glass on the floor on the external level of the spawning plateforme (right next to the walls, under the water.) ; this way golems can only spawn next to the lava and get killed without any issues.
It works - thanks man
Getting a zombie is hard, pro tip, before doing this put 2 villagers in a boat and cover them in all directions with non transparent blocks like dirt so they cant be attacked by mobs, then remove all beds AND JOBS, then get THREE OTHER villagers into the farm, u can use the 2 saved villagers as breeders, the rest of the villagers can be used as breeders
Idk but this is the most cheap, efficient iron farm so its deserved to be number one.
Thank you bro it really worked ❤
btw you can replace the looms with barrels to make it more cost effective
"IRON" love you bro thanks for the tutorial ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks it worked completly well
love the villager staring after spawning
my lava won’t stop spreading
i don't know if this has an effect but you might want to consider it, when i built it facing any other direction than east it wasn't producing its max potential, but when i built it so the zombie in the boat is looking east i was getting a significantly more amount of iron per hour.
that worked thanks love you so much
Thank uhh bro its work both time day and night both tysm
THANK YOU BUDDY😀
this was amazingly useful, thank you
third villager wont sleep, thanks for wasting 3 hours of my day
put a trapdoor near the zombie face so they villagers dont see them or u can use a block
if u block the trapdoor aka close the trapdoor (slam into zombie face) then the villager will sleep
also the farm will stop if you move away from the farm to stop that build a chunk loader or build it in where u spawn
It will onky work if U will make it in village?
Farm works fine for the most part. Only thing i can say about it is after a little while the golem might spawn on top the buttons somehow. I built it exactly too (except i used a chest boat instead of a normal one) so im not sure why they would spawn there.
Edit: I put 3 trap doors in between the zombie amd villagers to “turn the farm on” but i think i saw the golem spawn on top the trap door.
Happens to me too
great farm! built in my solo world
amazing video
thanks
Important note : the version you play on will not effect the spawn, I used 1.20.6 and it is working perfectly fine. If you are building it in near a village you must cover the farm with fence, because the villager will go in the hole and die. I afk for 10 minute and got 57iron so times 6 is 342. This farm is very easy and good. Recommend it!
It is important to note that your building blocks should not be flammable, the lava is close enough to burn down your farm. Mine burnt down a couple times and I lost a few villagers.
this is my go to starter iron farm
thank for easy design
" iron "
Thx its easy and helpful
Awesome 👍
Great farm thanks🙏
Ok for anyone that has no iron golem spawns you can place the 3 beds in the ground of the two blocks infront in the villager room and place the barrels infront of the chest boat (make sure to put above slabs and buttons above the zombie to prevent it from burning)
Thats gonna like half your iron rate
Can you build this within the spawn chunks and if so do you need to add a bell or anything like that?
Instead of buttons to prevent mobs spawning on them, you can use carpet as well.
VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE
so u place three trapdoors in front of the zombie and open the middle one to let them sleep?
@@Victor-dt3kf if you open middle trapdoor, farm will work but you can stop when you close the middle trapdoor.
I tried the farm worked 1 hour. Then maybe you prefer sleeping because probably will spawn phantoms so you may die.
@@gazidemir5142 yes they can sleep but they wake up 100 timees in a night
@@gazidemir5142 so it mainly works at day time and the hopper isn't connected to the chest (I filled it with full stack of irons and yet it still keep overflowing)
In many farms I done this and the hopper never connects to the chest
My zombies keep burning
Thans so much the farm works but its a pain to find a village
i have this farm built exactly 1:1 and it works for a few hours then the golem just jumps out like its nothing? any way to fix that or why the golem can just jump out?
if your villager getting hurt then where your zombie is sitting under the grass make sure that is not grass block its a path way making by shovel its work please try once
