Poor Ozzy is as for arrogant as you could ever get. I think this is why he struggled so hard. If you've ever read his book he talks about being severely abused and bullied by other kids and I think he fought those demons his whole life. He came from a place of poverty and I don't think he ever believed that he deserved all of the amazing things that he worked so hard for. The true Ozzy fans can see the humility and genuineness in him and that's why we've remained so loyal through the good times and the bad. Most of us have similar stories as he has and it's that ability to relate that causes us to love him so much even though we've never met him. Everything he puts out there is the real meal deal. There's not a phoney bone in his body. I hope he has found a place where he is able to live at peace and see what we see when he looks in the mirror. Love you Ozzy.

There is no correlation with them being extroverts or introverts and they often are the driving creative force, even if that's Tony Iommi for Black Sabbath. System of a Down - Serj Tankian, introvert, part of the creative process. Went to create his own solo career and is a genius, his own producer, records every instrument on Harakiri. Gojira, not sure whether introverted or extroverted but Joe Duplantier is the main creative one in the band along with his brother on drums. I could go on. And Ozzy is very good at creating music. That's why he got Tony Iommi and Randy Rhoads in the first place.

Oh if this is in the 90's its about 10 yrs., or less, before the Lost period they are referring to. The incoherence was actually really extreme during a good part of the earlier episodes of "The Osbornes" TV show!! When he was always drunk(again) or abusing something else. He talks about it sometimes in interviews... But if ALL definitely began clearing up after he and Jack started doing the TV travel show. By the later episodes, I've seen recently, he seems to be back to almost this clear, aware and focused. He likes to draw a lot, he must have dabbled before because his stuff is interesting, but he's aged slightly/harshly, but still going. And he always sang better than he sang and I started listening to that voice in 1969. :D

@@hellosweetheart3350 I'm from the UK (Newcastle). Like anywhere, it has it's cool stuff, but don't be fooled into thinking it's some kind of wonderland. Cities like Birmingham (2nd biggest city), Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield etc. were basically until fairly recently, industrial hell holes but have since been cleaned up......industry mostly gone. Despite gentrification though there are still large pockets of desperate poverty in the UK. I don't want to sound gloomy, but it's the truth. A lot of these cool bands were started.......and still are........by mainly working class lads with no prospects. Sabbath, The Smiths, Oasis, Kinks, Small Faces, Who etc. The list goes on. And still goes on. So, is the UK cool? Kinda.

Funny to hear Oz so like.. bubbly? Surely it's because he was quite a bit younger here but yea, he's really animated, and there's this brightness to his laugh.. it's delightful! I wasn't born for another 8 years or so after this lol, so I'm in my early 20's... I just wish I could go back in time and be my age now around the late 80's, early 90's. Great time for metal, when all these legacy bands were in still their prime of youth, would have been like *the* time to be there you know? I feel like my soul is mostly back there. Maybe in another life I was there. But seeing Ozzy better now is great after the last couple years when he wasn't doin too hot, and I was really worried he was gonna die. I hope I get to see him go back on the road, and get back to doing what he loves so much

He was there most of the day and took his time to chat to everyone there. Later, they went for refreshments to the officers mess where I met and chatted with them, he even signed my guitar id taken in especially ! It was a great experience and he's such a character.
